Story
Location: Buffalo, MN My name is York and my foster mom says I'm the most handsome boy she's ever seen. I'm pretty laid back and good with kids but I like to play (eat) with their toys just as much they do. I haven't had any accidents in the house and I'm learning to like my kennel at bedtime. I do pretty good with other dogs as long as I'm more dominant. I should not go to a home with kitties. ---------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are a best guess.

Story
Hi, I'm Chewy! I'm from Kentucky. From the foster: Chewy, is well behaved, quiet dog, he had no issues meeting my resident dog and cats. At one point in the night him and my cat were playing and napping together on the sofa. He's very affectionate and wants to be around his caregiver constantly, but he knows when to give space as well. He still needs learn commands like sit and come, how to play fetch, so being off leash is not advisable until he learns to recall. He is potty trained and he will let you know, when he needs to go. We walks excellent on his leash, he's learning not to be squirrel or rabbit reactive, he focuses on dogs but he doesn't react to them, more of look and see. He's very affectionate and a shadow dog. Car rides are great, but getting out of the car is issues, but he will learn, I have a Jeep, so the jump is pretty high for new puppy to understand. Chewy is large dog, he doing well in my apartment, but my apartment is rather large, so he has room to move and play. I would suggest a fence in yard, as his recall is non existence at the moment. He likes to run, so getting him out to dog park or brisk walk is key/ slow jog not a marathon due to his size, he's low key for the most part.

Story
Hi, my name is Pyr-es and I'm from a shelter in Kentucky. From the foster: Pyres is an ~70 lb great pyrenees mix with a go with the flow personality. She is still learning about the world and can be startled or nervous by new sights and smells but with some guidance she is catching on quickly. She is doing well with potty training and wakes up 1-2x overnight to pee. She stays in a crate while we are at work but does bark so would not do well with shared walls. She enjoys hanging out in the backyard and also loves a daily walk. She walks well on a leash. She loves to play with other dogs her size and would be really happy to have a dog sibling to play with. If she has gotten some exercise, Pyres is happy to lay low at home with her humans. She enjoys chewing on bones and playing catch with her toys. She is very gentle with our toddler and loves to tuck him into bed or hang out near him. She does get a little bit nervous with quick movements - it will just take patience for her to feel safe!

Meet Rose- Sweet Rose is shy but sweet and ready for her forever!  Rose is playful, shy, friendly with people she knows, smart and making huge strides! Rose is still learning that humans can be kind and is understanding that more everyday!  She LOVES being outside, does well at night in the kennel, very content and easy to have around.  She is doing great at potty training- she is a smart girl! My guess is Rose has at least some Great Pyrenees in her so she will most likely get big.  Rose loves treats, toys and is very playful.  She enjoys romping around the yard with her sister and the resident dog.  She would do best with a yard and while she probably won’t need a ton of exercise she will need some stimulation.  Rose is a doll and is ready to join your home! If you would like to meet Rose, please visit spotslaststop.org and fill out an application.

Story
Well hey there! My name is Dorothy and I’m ready to find my furever family! I came to MN from the south and I quite like it here. I LOVE to be outside, no matter what temperature it is. After playing outside, I’m perfectly content to snuggle up with my blanket and take a nap. My favorite part of living the good life is getting to learn from my canine foster sister. She has really helped me learn the rules of being a dog, so I’d like to find another confident dog in my forever home. Do you have kids? Totally fine by me! I love having little people around and am very respectful of them. I take direction quickly and can’t wait to learn more commands from you! I like to sit back and observe my environment before jumping right in, so I might be a little shy when we first meet. But don’t worry, I’ll be asking for pets from you in no time! I’m ready to meet you if you’re ready to meet me, so fill out an adoption application today! If you would like to meet Dorthy, please visit spotslaststop.org and fill out an application.

Story
Hi, I'm Paisley, an adorable and affectionate little pup eagerly awaiting my forever family! My foster mom can't help but gush about how sweet I am. I thrive on meeting new people and furry friends, wagging my tail in excitement as I make new connections. I've even won over the resident cat with my playful charm and have become friendly with the other dog in the house. Despite being a lively puppy, I've got the perfect balance of energy and calmness. I enjoy frolicking in the snow, exploring the outdoors, and sniffing out all the fascinating scents around me. I'm learning the art of leash walking, and it won't be long before I master it with style. Potty training is making excellent progress, and my nights in the crate are peaceful as I sleep soundly through the night. I'm a quick learner and always eager to please. If you're looking for a furry companion who's both playful and mellow, I might just be the perfect fit. I dream of a forever family with kids to play with and shower me with love and attention. Could you be the one to make my dreams come true? Paisley is estimated to be 13 weeks old and 15 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. If you are interested in meeting this dog please complete the adoption application on our website at http://www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting. We are also holding the following upcoming adoption events! Saturday, February 24, 11:00 am-1:00pm: Bachman's Eden Prairie - 770 Prairie Center Dr, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 https://www.facebook.com/events/3518813515037863 Animal attendance is subject to change based on their availability.
