Story
Location: Jordan, MN Buddy has had a rough start but he is learning how to be a dog! Slow introductions to other dogs is important and would do best with a submissive dog or as an only dog. Buddy does well with cats and would do best with older kids/no kids. He is learning how to respect other dogs at all times. He is potty trained and walks great on a leash. He is easy going and loves to "talk in the morning when we first wake up. He loves hanging out with people and being lazy together! He is just a wonderful boy who has lots of love to give but is learning boundaries as he was never taught and lived on a chain since he was a puppy. ----- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Ginny is a sweet, smart, and adorably fluffy 12-week-old Great Pyrenees mix puppy, currently weighing about 18 pounds—and growing fast! She’s expected to be a large dog when fully grown and is already showing off her confident, independent personality. Ginny is playful and curious, thriving in her foster home as she explores the world, plays with toys, and learns her puppy manners. She knows how to sit and lie down and is learning to ring bells to go outside. She loves being outdoors and would do best in a home with a fenced yard where she can roam and sniff to her heart’s content. At night, she sleeps in a crate by her foster’s bed without any fuss. On the rare occasion she needs to go out before morning, she’ll gently whine to let you know—then goes right back to sleep in her crate like a pro. Ginny is doing well with potty training, though she still has accidents. Most of the time, she goes outside and is learning quickly. She’s been around large dogs and holds her own just fine. She’s also interested in the household cat—she likes him and often sniffs and play-bows, but will chase when he doesn’t accept her playful advances. A dog-savvy cat is best. While Ginny enjoys cuddling, she has an independent side too. She’ll snuggle in close for a bit but often moves a few feet away, likely because she gets warm easily with her thick, fluffy coat. Ginny hasn’t been exposed to children yet, but she loves everyone she meets. Like any young puppy, she has sharp little teeth and will need lots of chew toys. Supervision is recommended around young children. Ginny is looking for a loving forever home ready for a big, loyal, intelligent pup who will grow into a wonderful lifelong friend—with continued training, patience, and space to play. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. Meet Smiley (aka Alfie) – Your Next Adventure Buddy! Looking for a fun-loving, fluffy best friend with a heart as big as his paws? Meet Smiley, affectionately known as Alfie – a 6-month-old, 46-pound bundle of joy who's ready to find his forever home! Smiley (Alfie) is a growing pup with a big personality. He’s almost house-broken and doing wonderfully with kennel training – sleeping soundly through the night in his crate or snoozing happily on a cozy dog bed nearby. This smart boy is thriving on routine and structure, and he’s eager to keep learning! Playtime is Smiley's (Alfie’s) favorite time! He’s a toy enthusiast who loves rope toys, stuffies, kongs, lick mats, and puzzles. A good game of tug or a round of tag in the yard? Yes, please! He enjoys going on walks with a dog buddy and never turns down ear scritches. Smiley (Alfie) is a social butterfly – he’s curious and friendly with all the dogs he meets and would love an energetic playmate who enjoys wrestling as much as he does. He’s also cat-friendly, showing polite interest without being pushy. He’s been wonderful with people of all ages (10 and up), and while he hasn't had much experience with very young kids, he’s sweet and respectful. This pup would thrive in an active household – whether that's a single person looking for a loyal sidekick or a family ready for some puppy-powered fun. He does have a higher energy level and will need both physical and mental stimulation to keep his tail wagging and his mind happy. Smiley (Alfie) is all heart, all fluff, and all in for his next big adventure – could it be with you? Story
This gentle soul is as precious as her name suggests. Pearl is the sweetest, kindest companion you could ask for — full of quiet charm and loyal love. Though she may be shy at first, it doesn’t take long for her to warm up once she feels safe. And when she does? You’ll have a best friend for life. Pearl loves to explore the outdoors, especially when she can find cozy little hideaways under bushes or trees — her own secret garden spots. She's curious about the world but never in a hurry, preferring a peaceful walk where she can take in the smells and sounds around her. She gets along wonderfully with people and enjoys meeting new friends. Once she knows she’s loved, she becomes incredibly affectionate and will stay right by your side, always ready for snuggles or a quiet moment together. Pearl does have separation anxiety and has been working with her foster family and a trainer to help her learn that they will always come back. While she is still struggling with the separation anxiety she is picking up everything else that they are working on so fast. She is the only dog in the home right now but we feel that she would thrive with a confident dog in the home to help keep her company and help her feel more secure. Pearl is an incredibly smart girl and with the right environment she will thrive. If you're looking for a pup with a heart of gold, a tender spirit, and a love that runs deep, Pearl is your girl. Come meet her and let her shine in your life like the gem she is. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please complete  an Adoption Request Form. Story
Moose is a gorgeous young PyrPoo that will be 2 on 11/25). Smart, playful, & curious with a Pyrenees stubborn streak. He’s loyal to his family & loves everyone he’s ever met! Moose has been through 2 weeks of board & train. With consistency I am convinced he will be a rock star dog! He also has an incredibly gentle demeanor. Moose has 2 flaws - barking & jumping. (No shared walls.) Both of these things are avoidable with consistency in response & training. He’s smart though & if he knows you’ll waiver he will test what he can get by with. Moose has no known health problems, is healthy & does not have any dietary restrictions. He does on being left out while you’re gone or I can put him until the bathroom with a dog bed & bone & he will be fine. With him being a longer hair dog he will require regular grooming. He loves having doggie playmates if any size. People of all sizes are his jam! Cats some are too tempting to chase so no cats. Just a good boy looking for a new family!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $300 plus tax Friendly! Not treat motivated  No accidents No separation anxiety  Dwight would do best in an active home (His foster believes a home without younger children or another resident dog would be ideal) Loves to be outside  Goes on errands with his Foster like Home Depot runs and Petco visits One time Dwight saw a mannequin and nuzzled it's hand so it would 'pet' him - Cute!! Dwight would like everyone who sees him to say hi  Dwight is a handsome Great Pyrenees and Border Collie mix! He loves dog parks and playing outside, rolling in the grass. He will do well in a fenced property or farm. He is leash trained, muzzle trained, and crate trained, however, the door often remains open. He’s a quick learner. He’s a little over 4 years old and shy of 100 pounds. He knows no, wait, down, paw, gentle, bed, belly, “get it” to eat, and sit with many more things he’s still perfecting. He loves the butt scratches but when he is sleeping her prefers to be left alone. He can sometimes be a little protective of his chew bones or food. He doesn’t play fetch but he loves chasing a laser like a cat. He prefers humans to chase him as a way of playing. He came from a home with two adults and should not go to a home with children. He’s used to a more quiet space and doesn’t do very well with loud noises. He did a great job outside watching his previous owner in his work shop. He does a great job being an outside guard dog, that’s definitely the Great Pyrenees in him. He loves to work and play. He has a ton of energy.     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.  We do not transport to potential adopters. How to learn more about a pet: Complete the application (click on the button above) to start our process for adopting or fostering a MARS Pet. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance.  Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history. //
