Story
Moose is a gorgeous young PyrPoo that will be 2 on 11/25). Smart, playful, & curious with a Pyrenees stubborn streak. He’s loyal to his family & loves everyone he’s ever met! Moose has been through 2 weeks of board & train. With consistency I am convinced he will be a rock star dog! He also has an incredibly gentle demeanor. Moose has 2 flaws - barking & jumping. (No shared walls.) Both of these things are avoidable with consistency in response & training. He’s smart though & if he knows you’ll waiver he will test what he can get by with. Moose has no known health problems, is healthy & does not have any dietary restrictions. He does on being left out while you’re gone or I can put him until the bathroom with a dog bed & bone & he will be fine. With him being a longer hair dog he will require regular grooming. He loves having doggie playmates if any size. People of all sizes are his jam! Cats some are too tempting to chase so no cats. Just a good boy looking for a new family!

Story
Meet the Cajun Litter! This sweet group came to us from a small town near Dallas. When they first arrived, they were a little thin and had some hair loss—but with good food, care, and love, they’ve filled out and their soft coats are growing back beautifully! We were told they’re Great Pyrenees mixes, and Cy definitely looks the part—but we suspect the others may have some Anatolian Shepherd and or Spaniel in the mix too. Either way, these pups are going to be big, lovable companions when fully grown! The Cajun crew is playful, curious, and full of personality. They love to explore the yard, sniff every inch, and then burst into joyful zoomies—sometimes with the cutest little grunts and squeals! Toys are a favorite pastime, and when playtime winds down, they’re all about kisses and cuddles. If you’re looking for a happy, playful, talkative, and snuggly pup to add to your family, one of these sweethearts could be the perfect match. Adopt your Cajun cutie today! 🐾 Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Nolan is a lovable golden retriever mix with a heart full of sweetness and a dash of uncertainty. While he sometimes believes he's the confident leader of the pack, he truly thrives under the guidance of a gentle and assertive human who can help him understand his place. Nolan enjoys slow introductions to other dogs, showing a preference for females and getting along well with both big and small pups once friendships are established. Though he’s had a few scuffles with male dogs, Nolan has a protective instinct that shines through when he senses his pack needs safeguarding. He'll step in to block any potential trouble, showcasing his natural guardian qualities. He can be quite the chatterbox, so a home without shared walls would be ideal for this talkative boy. Nolan absolutely loves his food, but he can be a bit possessive around other dogs during mealtime, so he eats in his kennel where he keeps everything tidy. He’s making great strides with potty training, but since he’s only experienced a boarding environment, he may need a little extra supervision as he transitions to a home setting. This sweet boy is looking for a kind, patient owner who understands his needs—preferably someone without cats and older, respectful children. Nolan doesn’t require a fenced yard, making him a great companion for someone ready to show him the love and leadership he craves. If you’re looking for a dog who is ready to bond and be a loyal friend, Nolan is waiting for you! Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.    ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
