Story
Hi, my name is Rhymes and I came from a shelter in Kentucky. From the foster: Logan is a good boy! He likes to chew bones, wrestle with our resident dog, take naps and he loves to bark! He's definitely in his teen years and can be a bit sassy, at times. Logan is a big boy who really likes people. However, due to his size and occasional mouthiness he'd do best in a home with older children. He also isn't super comfortable with small dogs. He would love to have a larger canine friend. He walks well on a leash but is working on some leash manners. He's a great big, lovable goofball who would do great with a family that wants to snuggle and play with him! Medical Bio: Hello, the first day I arrived in rescue, I appeared to have a seizure, so I was taken care of at an emergency vet, and The Bond Between, formally Secondhand Hounds. No clinical cause for this incident was found so I was cleared for adoption. That was 10 months ago and I haven't had a seizure since! The Rescue recommends seizure safe flea/tick/heartworm treatment for me out of an abundance of caution, but no other care should be needed for me prior to adoption. All other care will be the responsibility of the adopter.

Hi my name is Alex! I am from Missouri. I am very smart and brave. I love playing with my temporary brother, Dax who is a husky/lab mix. My favorite thing to do is play outside and be adventurous. After all I have the whole world to explore. I'm just a puppy so I can be a lot of work but my foster parent's have showed me so much love and always tell me how good of a boy I am. I love cuddling and am really good with other dogs. I hope to be a great part of whatever family wants to raise me. Let my mom know if you want to meet me I would love to get to know you! - Alex

Story
I am Meredith. I am from Missouri. From her foster: Meredith is a fun-loving, cuddly, and fabulous little pup!! She traveled to MN with her 6 brothers and sisters and all of them are just cute as can be! Meredith loves to snuggle, is doing well with potty training, and loves all people (big and small)! She is fabulous young pup who will likely grow to be a med/large dog with an amazing personality. Meredith is still very young and will continue to need some coaching with her potty training and learning her manners (no biting, staying down, sitting on command, etc). Meredith has been using a crate when we are not home but has not been crate trained overnight. We have done some leash practice but not a ton as her little legs can currently only take her so far. Meredith has done amazing with our two kids (age 6 and 9), gets along well with our two resident dogs and two resident cats. Overall this little pumpkin is going to fit in with almost any type of family dynamic that's ready to bring a puppy into their lives!

Hello my forever family - where ever you are! I am a great big HAPPY bundle of joy!  I am crate training and my foster mom says I'm doing a fantastic job.  I sleep in there at night and I don't even cry - not me!  We are working on leash training by taking walks in the neighborhood.  On our walks I get to visit with everyone and see so many things!  My favorite thing to do is snuggle up on the couch with my foster mom and watch TV.  I hope you like to watch TV because I'm looking for a forever buddy to watch my shows with!   Remus is a playful and affectionate puppy who is constantly offering you his best puppy kisses.  He currently lives with other dogs, cats, and children and does well with everyone.  He would be a great addition to your family!   ##1955051##

Story
Hello future family! My name is Scylia (pronounced SKY-LA), but foster mom calls me sky-la-la-la-la-la! I came all the way to MN from Texas with my seven siblings and mom. My mom and siblings have scattered to other foster homes now that we are older, but I am still with the OG foster. My mom is a Lab/Great Pyrenees mix, or something like that, so your guess is as good as mine as to how I turn out. I am definitely the runt (or super-runt) of the litter, being the smallest by a lot, but am healthy, happy and a little bit saucy.  My foster home has so many dogs, and it is a great socialization experience for me. I love the resident dogs (9-yo female Lab, 5-yo male Pittie, 10-month female Great Pyrenees), and play with the Great Pyrenees the most…seems I really like the big dogs! There is also another mom and litter of six who I play with all the time. I am really good at setting my own boundaries and playing when I want to play, and being left alone when I want that. I can play independently just as well as with others.  As a puppy, I am still getting used to lots of things. We are working on kennel training, and I eat my meals and treats in my kennel…and because of that, I realize my kennel is a super awesome place. I eat out of a puzzle bowl…because foster mom says I can eat a regular bowl in 2 seconds. Potty training is going super well! I have learned to ring the bell to potty outside, but sometimes I just ring it to go outside…I don’t get treats when I do that. While I had some accidents inside, I am getting much better at going outside, otherwise I just blame it on the other puppies! Speaking of outside…I love being outside! All the smells and plants and bushes…there is so much to explore! I have really blossomed outside and have become a very confident young girl. I have even played on some of the agility equipment in the yard, which foster mom always cheerleads for me. Laying in the sun on the deck is the best, and I love the garden hose and follow the spray because water is super fun.  We have started some training, and we are working on impulse control also. I am really good at sits and downs and am learning to be patient for food or treats by sitting nicely. Foster mom says I am super smart and will do anything for a treat (=easy to train!). I have learned to not bite/nip at the humans, and that I only get pets and love when I have “four on the floors” (not jumping!). Foster mom also says I have the recall of a champ because I know when I “come” I get treats!  But mostly, I am just being a puppy and having a good time. I also have not destroyed anything, and for that, foster mom is super proud! I am scheduled for my spay on 3/18 and will be able to head to my new home about 5 days after. ##1955050##

Story
Cloud is 2.5 yo and full of playfulness, energy, and a sense of humor. He loves the snow, lots of attention, walks, and playing with other dogs. He has never met a person he doesn't love. He (ostensibly) knows basic commands and is crate trained. We are heartbroken to have to rehome him. Cloud would do best with an owner or family with either lots of dog experience or the time and resources for more extensive behavioral training. He is amazing meeting strangers and children on a leash, but we have 2 smaller children at home and are pregnant with twins and he tends to play with our children like they are puppies (lots of mouthing and bumping them over) despite lots of training. We think he would do better in a home with older or no children where an owner can maintain a calmer environment. Cloud also hates having his nails cut and basic grooming (other than being brushed), and our vet has recommended working with a vet behavioralist to address these issues.
