Story
Introducing Kit: part Great Pyrenees, part Doberman, and 100% professional weirdo. She’s about three years old, has legs for days, and a nose that works overtime like a tiny detective on an endless case. Kit has gone from “stranger danger” mode to “sniff your hair while you’re watching Netflix” mode, and that’s what we call progress.   Her daily routine is very official: three laps around her kennel like an Olympic track star before dinner, followed by stealing the couch or your bed because, honestly, she’s royalty and crates are for peasants. She’s learning that humans = belly rub dispensers, and she’s totally here for it.   Kit is a huge fan of dogs, though she sometimes comes in a little too hot on first introductions (think: bossy camp counselor vibes). Once she knows who’s in charge, she’s good to go, and she’s the best babysitter for puppies. What she is not into? Cats, chickens, birds, squirrels, or basically anything small and fluffy that isn’t her designated sibling. For those, her prey drive kicks in and—let’s just say—it’s a hard no.   She’s obsessed with running, but luckily, she’s not a fence-jumper. A nice sturdy yard is her dream stage for zoomies. When she’s not sprinting, she’s all about long walks, soft toys, and claiming furniture like it’s her birthright. She’ll even listen to “leave it” when she’s yelling at the neighbors, which is basically the dog version of good manners.   Kit is still a little shy at first, but once she warms up, you’ll find a goofy, loyal, slightly dramatic best friend who makes the small victories (like coming when called) feel like winning the lottery. She’s been waiting long enough—this couch hog is ready to claim your couch and, more importantly, your heart.       Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 22, 2026, 11:22 pm

Story
Hi, I'm Jake! I'm a 6-month-old Great Pyrenees mix puppy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. I'm a very sweet boy who loves people and enjoys being part of the family.   I'm kennel trained and potty trained, and I'll even sit by the door and bark when I need to go outside! I love long walks, running around the yard, and playing fetch—although I usually don't bring the ball all the way back. I also love to dig, so if you have a yard, don't be surprised if I decide to "help" with the landscaping every now and then! I've been exposed to lots of different environments, enjoy playing with other dogs, and have done great with kids.   Like many puppies, I'm still learning. I can be protective of my food, toys, and especially bones. If another dog comes too close while I'm eating, or someone tries to take a bone away, I may growl or react. My foster family has been working with me on this, and I'm already making great progress. I'll do best with a family that understands positive reinforcement and is willing to continue helping me build confidence and good manners.   If you're looking for a loyal, playful, loving companion who's ready for adventures, cuddles, and a lifetime of friendship, I just might be the perfect pup for you!         Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $650.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 22, 2026, 11:22 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Sarah. I was born in January 2026. I’m a very sweet puppy full of positive energy; I love playing ball in the backyard and going for walks—and I’m very calm when we walk together on the street. I also enjoy jogging alongside a bicycle; I’m really good at it. I sleep in my crate all night, and I also rest there if my mom has to go to work or run errands. I’m house-trained and generally no trouble at all. I have a calm nature and like it when people say hello as we pass by. I can be a little protective of my food—I might growl if another dog tries to eat it—but I do enjoy having other pets in the house to play with. I love affection, and one of my absolute favorite things is having my tummy rubbed. I’m very gentle and smart. I love being by my mom’s side all the time—even when she’s cooking, I follow her like a shadow and rest my head on her lap to let her know when I need her attention. If you’re looking for that missing piece to complete your life, just like I am, let me know—maybe we’d make the perfect companions for each other. Give me a chance; I promise I won’t let you down.     Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Yeti found himself unwanted and in a high kill shelter in West Texas. He is good with other dogs and people, and is indifferent to cats.  All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful. Yeti has been in MN for a couple of weeks now and his personality is really starting to shine! He would make an amazing family dog or loyal companion. He has incredible house manners: potty trained, crate trained, quiet besides short alert barks if someone is arriving. Due to the alert barking he would not be best suited for apartment living.  He did very well with bathing and grooming, gets zoomies after baths. The only potential behavior we’ve observed to watch for is counter surfing. Gentle, slow positive reinforcement training will be key. His favorite activities so far seem to be true Pyrenees pastimes: exploring the outdoors, taking long walks and jogs, wandering through meadows, observing the activities of the house. He doesn’t care much for toys, but loves marrow bones. He ideally would like a large yard that has a physical fence. He is not the biggest fan of the leash, but with gentle patience he has improved greatly.  We believe he would do fine as the only pet. He doesn’t seem to need constant attention, so his owners could leave him at home during work. However, he is still young so requires extended time outdoors and long daily walks.  He is friendly or indifferent to cats, he is good with dogs (though would not do well with dog parks, prefers slower intros and lower energy dogs). He has been around young kids and toddlers (needs some time & space to warm up to their fast movements/noises), and even did well with a pet rabbit. He would do best in adult only home if there is not another dog in the home. IF there are kids in the home another dog is a must and will help him feel comfortable with the kids and adjust. If you are looking for a calm, gentle guardian who loves exploring the outdoors, you need to check out Yeti! First priority will go to someone who lives in the twin cities metro in order to bring to a vetting appointment in early September.  Please put in your application on our website mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 23, 2026, 9:32 pm

Story
Hey HEY!! We are the Disney pups and we are READY for our FAIRYTALE ENDINGS!! You know.... the "ride into the sunset" kind of endings! That is where you come in! A few things about us first.... we are sweet and loving pups. We were born to a scared mama (Pyrenees) and her resident boyfriend , German Shepherd and we were loved on by an older couple who cared for us until their health took a turn ;( so the rescuers took us in and fattened us up and they LOVE US! But that is not enough for us :) We want it ALL! They call it the "dream package"- a home, a family and a ball gown with glass slippers too! Each one of us has been through the "tried and true" package and we passed with flying colors! So it is your turn to do the right thing and adopt one of us fairytale puppies!! We will be BIG adults and are all fluffy, so must have a hair plan :D Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area(
