Story
This is my sweet, beautiful dog Snoodle. I rescued him when he was three months old from a city shelter. He ended up growing to be so big, and he is the absolute best, sweetest, kindest dog in the whole world and he will be the greatest friend you will ever have. He is so so loyal and he enjoys running. He is great with kids idk about toddlers or younger though and other (friendly) dogs. I am sure that he is a mix of something else other than husky, but it is unknown. He looks very wolf-like as he grew, as he is only about 2 years old. He is neutered and he is healthy. Like any dog, Snoodle needs to have lots of space. He likes hiking, going on runs, and he is very strong. He loves all types of meat or poultry in any form at any time no matter where or when, unconditionally.

Story
Meet Poncho, a remarkable 3.5-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix who’s searching for his forever home. Rescued from a high-kill shelter after his previous owner had to move and couldn’t take him along, Poncho is a unique and lovable companion with a heart of gold. Poncho is a good-natured and sweet dog who does well with middle to large dogs and is incredibly intelligent. He prefers to spend most of his time outside and doesn’t seek out cuddles or furniture, but he shows his affection in his own special ways. His high energy levels and need for mental stimulation mean he thrives with proper exercise and engaging activities. Ideal for someone who works from home, Poncho doesn’t like to be alone and may struggle with separation, especially at first. He can be a bit vocal, giving you an earful as huskies are known to do, but his charming personality and loving nature make him an exceptional companion. Poncho is a special dog who will bring joy and loyalty to the right home. If you’re looking for a unique and devoted friend who’s ready to become a cherished part of your life, Poncho is the one for you.

Story
Meet Sadie! A loyal and playful almost three-year-old Siberian Husky/German Shepherd mix currently in Burbank, CA, whose expressive eyes and joyful zoomies are just the beginning of her charm. Wrapped in a gorgeous gray and tan coat, Sadie is a spirited adventurer at heart! An ideal sidekick for anyone who loves walks, hikes, and of course, fetch (her all-time favorite game!). This athletic girl is not just all energy and fun, she’s also a gentle soul who forms deep bonds with her humans once she’s had a proper introduction. Sadie takes stranger introductions seriously, but once you're in her circle, get ready for a loyal companion who greets you with a wagging tail and her signature grin! Crate trained, house-trained, and incredibly food motivated, Sadie thrives on a structured routine. She eats twice a day, enjoys lounging on the couch or in her crate, and looks forward to her daily walk, as long as it’s paired with a few solid rounds of fetch. Rainy days might cause a slip in her potty routine, but overall, she does beautifully with consistency and care. Though she’s lived with other dogs, Sadie is selective and needs to be the only pet in her next home. She has been involved in altercations with other dogs when introductions were rushed or not managed carefully. She can be unsure around highly playful or reactive dogs, and she’s still learning the art of dog play. While she’s not reactive on leash or through fences, her new pet parent will need to continue supporting her social development with patience and positive reinforcement. Her heart, however, is wide open to her people (especially women) and she’s done wonderfully around children ages 3 to 9 in a former foster setting! Smart, responsive, and eager to please, Sadie knows basic commands like “sit,” walks like a pro on leash, and is always up for new adventures with her trusted humans. While she may need a little patience when meeting new people, tossing her a toy or offering a treat is the perfect way to win her over! Could you be the steady, loving companion Sadie needs to keep her world full of fetch games, soft beds, and new adventures? If you’re interested in providing Sadie with a loving home, please email meetme@joyfulpets.com for more information about adopting her! Please note that Sadie is currently in foster care through one of our trusted rescue partners and will remain with her foster family until the right match is found. Because rescue-partner pets are managed directly by their respective organizations, their adoption process, requirements, and fees may differ from Joyful Pets’ direct rehoming program. Our team will be happy to connect you with the rescue and help guide you through their process to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Siberian Husky American Pit Bull Terrier

Story
Meet Willow! A courageous two-year-old Siberian Husky/American Pitbull Terrier mix currently in Los Angeles, CA, whose tricolor coat shimmers as brightly as her unstoppable spirit. Willow’s story is one of resilience, growth, and hope. Despite a challenging beginning, she’s blossomed into a loving, curious girl with an unstoppable zest for life. A distemper survivor with a fighter’s heart, Willow has endured more than most pups her age, but you’d never know it when she’s trotting happily on a long walk or curling up beside her caregiver for a cuddle session. Walks? She looooves them, whether it’s a brisk stroll or an adventurous hike, she’s happiest when exploring the world with her person! This playful and spirited girl currently shares her space with four senior dogs. While she does best in a single-dog home, her trainer believes she could thrive with a dog of similar energy and age, just no snack-sharing please, as Willow can guard her food around other dogs. She has also shown protective behaviors, including a past incident where she attempted to bite a mail carrier when startled, and she tends to nip when overly excited. Willow is also fearful of strangers, particularly men, which can cause her to react defensively when she feels unsure or unsafe. These behaviors are rooted in past trauma and fear, not aggression, and she’s actively working through them in a board-and-train program focused on building confidence through positive reinforcement. With the right support, she’s learning how to trust again. Willow prefers to be the center of affection and would flourish in a home that can offer her one-on-one love, structure, and understanding. She’s making real progress and trying so hard to get things right, especially when surrounded by patient hearts and steady routines. Willow is crate trained, house trained, and knows the “sit” command like a pro! She’s a clever explorer who once figured out how to push through a screen window just to be near her favorite people. Her heart is full of affection, loyalty, and a need to feel safe. She thrives with a calm, adult family that values routine and kindness, and she’s especially compatible with guardians who are home often and understand the beauty of going slow and steady. If you're someone who believes in second chances, sees strength where others might see struggle, and has the time, patience, and love to help Willow continue to grow, she just might be your heart dog waiting to happen! Could Willow be the devoted, adventurous, snuggle-loving girl your family’s been waiting for? Contact adopt@joyfulpets.com to meet Willow today! Story
Meet Apollo! A lovable five-year-old Siberian Husky currently in Mesa, AZ, whose essence is a joyful blend of playful silliness and chatty charm wrapped in a striking black and white coat. Apollo is the kind of companion who turns everyday moments into entertainment, whether he is proudly carrying around a squeaky toy or inviting you into a game of chase with the enthusiasm of a delighted toddler. He absolutely loves ropes, long walks, energetic runs, and splashing in the water, and he never says no to a car ride that might end in a tasty pup cup! This handsome boy thrives on connection and enjoys being a constant companion, happily lounging near his people after a fun burst of activity. He follows a steady daily rhythm with meals twice a day and settles nicely when left alone for short periods. Apollo already knows an impressive list of commands like sit, stay, lay down, shake, high five, and gentle, and he is eager to keep learning through positive reinforcement. Apollo is friendly with other dogs, cats, and young children, making him a wonderful addition to a lively, loving home! He would do well in a caring environment with a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and explore safely. His fluffy coat does require regular brushing, especially during seasonal changes, but he enjoys bath time and finds water endlessly fun! Like many Huskies, Apollo has a musical side and will happily howl along with passing sirens, creating his own adorable soundtrack. He can feel uneasy during fireworks or grooming visits, so a patient caregiver who offers reassurance will help him feel secure. Apollo is neutered, house-trained, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find a new loving home filled with adventure, affection, and companionship. If you are looking for a loyal, expressive, and endlessly entertaining friend, Apollo is ready to meet you! Could Apollo be the spirited new family member you have been waiting for?
