Story
#A5719908 Meet Windy , a 2-year-old Husky mix identified only by her one blue eye, as there is definitely something else in her family tree. Windy has the most uniquely adorable look and all the love to give! &#239&#184&#143 With her sleek, short white coat dusted in cinnamon freckles - she’s truly one of a kind. Windy is a calm, easygoing sweetheart who prefers peaceful settings over chaos and thrives when given the space to come out of her shell. She's polite, gentle, and curious with other pups, especially when meeting through the fence or in low-key introductions. Whether you’re into relaxing Netflix and chill nights or quiet beach walks, Windy is the perfect low-maintenance adventure buddy. With her sweet spirit and great manners, she’d be an amazing first dog for a new pet owner finally ready to fall in love.   -2 year old white Husky mix -36.5 pound spayed female -Up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 8/13/25 as an owner surrender - but we have no notes and no idea why, as Windy is absolutely amazing! -absolutely adorable lovebug with the most charming unique look!  -short-haired, this sweet girl has a sleek, white coat smattered with the cutest sprinkle of cinnamon sprinkles.  -she also has a mesmerizingly mismatched set of eyes - one a deep whiskey brown and the other a pale, icy blue -This dainty darling is calm and easygoing, with a loving spirit -a bit overwhelmed at the shelter, especially in the chaotic throng of playgroup, Windy shines in a quieter setting - when meeting other pups through the fence, on her own terms, she is curious, polite, and submissive -with her perfectly balanced personality and calm energy, she would make for both an excellent couch companion, as well as an adventure buddy - particularly wonderful for quiet walks on the beach or a cozy night of netflix and chill -given her wonderful disposition and perfect manners, Windy would be an amazing choice for a first time pet owner!   WINDY’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/JJgnWp3imoY   For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story
His original owner is incarcerated for many years, and I am not able to give him the proper space or time he truly needs. Scooby is such a lover boy and has potential to be a really great dog. He knows a few commands already. Scooby Doo is definitely a happy dog, far from aggressive though and has great temperament!

Story
Bluey is consistently sweet and loving of all dogs. The only thing is he is not able to regulate with loud screams, so when calling him a firm somewhat loud call helps him to learn to come to you. He loves all dogs in fact even if they growl at him he approaches them gingerly and with a lot of love. Everyone who meets Bluey knows he is love and fun loving. He meets people, dogs and cats and loves everyone. He does well with other dogs, however would be great in a quiet home where he gets to meet other dogs and hangs out with people who take him on walks. He is great on a leash. He loves to hang out on the couch with everyone or go play with friends. He is learning to catch and fetch the ball (work in progress). He loves to cuddle and wants to learn and be outside as much as being inside. I am getting hives anytime he licks me or licks his fur and so he is missing out on hugs and pets, and that is sad for him, and me too, yet the new home will solve hug consistency.
