Hi guys! My name is Miley and I'm a 1 and a half year old Siberian Husky girl who came into the shelter in February. I'm a very happy girl who does little tippy-taps with my feet when I get excited. Since coming to the shelter my friends have found that I really love toys, treats, and comfy blankets. Because I'm a young husky I still have a lot of energy and would love to find a forever home with someone who can take me on long walks and play with me a lot. If you think you're the right home please call my friends at the shelter to schedule an appointment to meet me! Thank you! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 46 Age: 1yrs 8mths 0wks

Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue. Pet Information A55108253 Peter  is a strikingly handsome and affectionate (see video) 2-year old black-and-white neutered male Alaskan Husky who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on October 5th as a stray. Weighing 63 lbs, Peter’s favorite activity is playing with the ball, only to take a break by going on a run! A polite gentleman, he behaves well around other dogs, happy to play with them, or watching them play and respecting their space. Considering his typical Husky-leveled energy, spending time playing with toys and an active owner will make him one of the most content dogs around! He already knows sit and will be a quick learner for any commands. His cooperation on a leash makes it super easy to take Peter on your next run around the neighborhood. We just met Peter and he’s already urgent on our list so we are hoping someone will see his gorgeous face and give him a chance.   PETER’S VIDEO:  https://youtu.be/1otyj_0pUp8   For more information on this pet, contact volunteer UHA Adoption Coordinator Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org   May 6, 2024, 4:34 pm

Story
#A5601516 Cameo is a Siberian/German Shepherd puppy with piercing blue eyes and a sweet, affectionate nature. 1-year-old, spayed female Gray and white fur with icy blue eyes Came to the Baldwin Park Shelter on 01/02/24 as a stray 45 lbs Soft, sweet, and loves attention Cameo wants to give affection and get attention. She loves pets! She’s a puppy, so she will need some training on the leash. Right now, she does a cute little bounce as she walks. We think she’ll grow into her stride! She’ll also need basic command training, although she’s already eager to learn and will sit patiently for treats. She shows signs of housebreaking. Is great with other dogs! Loves to explore and will go looking for something exciting to do. Gentle and dainty   Cameo is a lovely girl who has a heart full of love to give her new family. Eager to become part of a pack, she’d love a home that will shower her with the love and affection she deserves.   CAMEO’S VIDEO:  https://youtu.be/NMbuHLdEdZk     For more information, contact volunteer Lisa at lisaa@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story
Courtesy Post "Brady" is one big puppy!  He's a Husky/Shepard mix, possibly Malinois, possibly 3-4 years old.    *Very gentle and calm demeanor.  *Knows simple commands. "Sit". Reinforcement training would be a plus; If new owner has trained before, Brady will do well. It would be fun for him.  *Misses his foster mom when she leaves. *Easy on the leash, not dog reactive.but wants to play with other dogs.   No aggression seen.  *Has had baths, cleaned his ears and cleaned his teeth...no problem.    He's a sweet boy and acts like a puppy.    *Loves to play with his Pittie foster gal pal.  *Would do well around kids but I think he wants to be the big baby of the family.   *Eats cleanly,  doesn't attack his food.   *A secure backyard is a MUST.  Would be a  loyal family dog or brother to another doggie.  A wonderful companion.    Will be neutered, have shots and microchipped for new forever home.   Contact Carol Anten (909) 268-6344 May 6, 2024, 4:34 pm
