Sweet, mellow, and loving...that's out Delilah! Delilah is an eight year old, female, Siberian Husky that was found tied up to a gate outside a veterinary hospital we work with. There was no microchip and owners never claimed her while she was on a proper stray hold. Delilah is such a sweet, quiet, and mellow girl that loves human company! She is fine with other dogs, but human companionship is what she yearns for. Delilah is a good eater with perfect manners. She absolutely loves her stuffy toys and loves a good game of catching the tossed toy while you play chase her for it. Delilah is great in the car and loves rides around town. She is good on walks but is so gentle and mellow that she really just loves being home and hanging out with you on the couch or in the backyard. She is low energy, calm, and just a chill, zen type of dog. Prior Husky owners are a plus and potential adopters must be aware that Huskies do need proper grooming every eight weeks. Delilah is a perfect girl that deserves the perfect forever family! Delilah is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Hi, I’m Gina! I’m a sweet, affectionate little Husky, and I’m looking for my forever family. I’m on the smaller side for a Husky, but I make up for it with tons of love to give. I have the most gorgeous eyes—one is blue and the other is brown hazel! They’re just as unique as I am. I’ve had some changes recently, so I’m still adjusting, but I’m warming up quickly and ready to share all my love. Car rides are the best! I love looking out the window, smiling, and enjoying the ride. I’m getting more comfortable every day. At first, I was a little shy and cautious, but now I’m much more relaxed. I even let my foster family bathe and brush me! I’m housebroken and learning to communicate when I need to go outside. I might have an accident occasionally, but I think it's just my nerves. I’m a little underweight but have a great appetite and am gaining weight steadily. I get along well with other dogs. I’m respectful of my foster's Corgi roommate and friendly with other dogs I’ve met. I might whine in my crate, but I settle down quickly once I know I’m safe. I’m looking for a patient, loving home where I can continue to adjust and build trust. I’ll be a loyal, affectionate companion once I feel comfortable. Hi! I'm the perfect Husky for those who don't want a husky Husky. I'm small and slender, and I have lots of energy. The folks at Forte saved me from the pound after my previous “owner,” who failed to be my guardian, dumped me on his way out of town. He let Forte folks know, and they kept an eye on me and when they found a foster home, they bailed me out. Things I love — My foster Mom and Dad, playing with my toys at home and with my doggie friends at the dog park, taking nice walks, eating, chasing squirrels. Things I’m not comfortable with — People I don’t know very well, children, people coming to our house (as you can guess, I’m very protective). My foster Mom and Dad are working with a trainer to help me feel better about strangers. I have so much love to give and will be your best friend if you give me a chance.
