Very affectionate and loving, just nervous around children, especially toddlers. Knows how to sit and shake. Has played with other dogs his size just fine. Has not been around cats. He’s a big guy and I am unable to walk him anymore due to my previously broken ankle and my age. I also have a two year old grandchild that I now babysit.

Story
Aurora is 5 years old. She was born on January 10, 2021. She is a purebred Siberian Husky. She is a very sweet girl but is super lazy. She likes to sunbathe outside and she does enjoy playing with other dogs. We are looking for someone who can give her lots of attention. She does need frequent grooming as well just to help manage the hair but she loves being brushed! She loves snuggles, chewing on bones, and super yummy treats! She is the sweetest girl and is great with kids. She has lived in a home with two cats as well and enjoys playing with them. She does well outside of a crate, she has a tendency to break out of them. She likes to have noise or another animal to play with, but is also a good solo dog! Unlike most huskies, Aurora doesn't use her voice much. It's a special treat when we hear it!

Hello,I need a good home for my dog preferably with kids because he’s such a playful dog. He is the most kind, loving and gentle dog I’ve ever known. He’s not food aggressive either. He deserves much attention. I have a busy schedule and can not give him that attention. He’s an all around amazing dog.

Story
Hi there! I’m Bodie! I’m a super fun, goofy, and active Husky! Even though I’m 2 years old and 40 pounds, I like to think of myself as a little bit of a puppy still. Why, you ask? Because I’m SUCH a good boy! I know how to sit and lie down, and I'm already crate-trained. I LOVEEEEE toys, chasing toys, playing with toys, running after toys…did I mention I love toys? What can I say? I’m just a guy who likes to be active and stay busy! That’s probably how I’m able to maintain my handsome physique! 💪🐶 Would you like a walking or running partner? Because that sounds like a lot of fun to me! It helps me keep my legs strong and buff! People will admire us as we pass them by each day! They might even whistle at us! I mean, HELLO, just look at my eyes, BOL! 😂 Now you might still be wondering why I said I’m a little puppy like, especially after you’ve seen all the awesome things I’m interested in! Well…it’s because I'm still working on my house training just a bit, and I can be a little mouthy when I play. No, no, no…I’m not going to backtalk or bite you, silly! It’s just that when I play, I’m still learning to be gentler with my teeth! 😁 It might even be best for my furever home to have older kids instead of younger ones, just to be safe. BUT, if you’re willing to work on this with me, I’m pretty sure I could be ok with some smaller ones too! I really do like kids! I also like other dogs too. If you’re ready for an adventurous and active new BFF, go ahead and submit an application with Pawsitive Tails and put my name on it! Woofs and kisses, Bodie! ❤ Bodie is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. His adoption fee is $175. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕

Story
Want life to be a little more jolly? 😁 Then you gotta meet Holly! It’s almost impossible not to smile when this gorgeous 6-month-old Husky mix is by your side. Because those blue eyes? Those adorable ears? Her constantly wagging tail? I mean… come on. 😍 And there’s even more to love. 💗 She is both house trained and crate trained, and snoozes quietly in her crate all night. She currently weighs about 25 pounds and is expected to reach 45-55 pounds when fully grown. Holly loves dogs of all sizes 🐕🐶 and enjoys playing and snuggling with them. She'd absolutely love another playful pup to run and play with, but she's just as happy soaking up all the attention herself. She also adores kids and would likely thrive with children around 10 or older who enjoy spending time outside. One thing's for sure: outside is Holly's happy place. ☀️ Whether she's playing fetch, zooming around with her dog friends, chasing lightning bugs at dusk, or exploring every interesting smell she can find, she's always ready for a little adventure. 🛝 After about 20 minutes of burning off puppy energy, she's more than ready to trade playtime for cuddle time. 🧸 She'll happily curl up beside you for all the pets, all the kisses, and one well-earned nap. Like any young puppy, Holly is still learning her manners. 💅 She's working on "sit,” already knows the commands “outside” and “bedtime,” and is eager to keep learning with a family willing to invest a little time and consistency into her training. A fenced yard would also be ideal since she loves to run, explore, and play. Think Holly will make your life more jolly? She thinks so, too. 🤎 Holly is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. Her adoption fee is $275. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved adopters. 🐕Apply to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org🐕

Story
What did the “Skye” say to the rainbow? You brighten my day! That’s because this amazing girl wants to be the sunshine of your life. ☀️🌈☀️🌈☀️ Skye is a five-year-old Husky with the most stunning crystal blue eyes you’ve ever seen. In addition to being beautiful, she’s a perfect medium-sized ball of joy, wrapped up in a 45lb black, grey, and white package. This happy-go-lucky girl is house-trained, quickly learning crate training because she loves treats as a reward for going in, and she already walks wonderfully on a leash. She also knows commands like sit and kennel, and is promptly catching on to coming when you call her name. Did we mention that she’s also learning to wait? Is there anything this girl isn’t willing to try to make you happy? Not only is Skye super smart and a fast learner, but she’s also got just the right amount of energy to brighten your day—not too much and not too little. She LOVES to spend time playing with the resident dogs in her foster home, running around the back yard and chomping on toys inside. Because of this, we think she would likely be happiest in a home with another active dog. She equally loves attention from humans, though, whether that’s snuggling or just getting pets. Skye is the kind of girl who’s always up for making your day better and wants to be the K9 companion you’ve dreamed of. Although she has not attempted to jump any fences, she will likely need a 5-6-foot fence to avoid unplanned Husky adventures. Skye is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. The adoption fee is $175, which includes her being the furever sunshine of your life. Apply to adopt her today. Meet and greets will be scheduled with approved adopters from PawsitiveTailsKC.org. 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤 APPLY @ PawsitiveTailsKC.org 🖤🤎❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💜💙💚💛🧡❤️🤎🖤
