Story
Ghost is a great dog the only problem is he's not good around small animals and cats especially. when he sees them and they're running he goes right after them and he will hurt them. He will do very well in a home with no small animals . He does well with kids and other dogs. He has grown up with the cats in our house but has still has issues with containing himself and going after them. He also cannot be an only dog he needs companionship. Want to make sure he goes so good home cuz I do not want to see him surrender to a shelter and stuck in a cage by himself.

Story
Hi! I’m Herbert — a one-year-old Husky–German Shepherd mix with a big heart and lots of energy. I’m loyal, affectionate, and I love being around my people. I get very excited when I’m with humans and enjoy being part of the action. I’m kid-friendly and cat-friendly, too!   I’m a high-energy guy and get especially enthusiastic when playing with other dogs. Sometimes I play a little rough and may nip during dog-to-dog play — it’s probably my herding instincts kicking in. I’m looking for a patient adopter who understands active, high-energy breeds and is committed to giving me structure, training, and plenty of exercise to help me be my best self.   I’m not the biggest fan of my crate, but I do great in the house and I’m not destructive. I know I’m a lot of work, but I have so much potential. With dedication and consistency, I promise I’ll be an incredibly rewarding companion for the right person. ##2524390##

Remi and Apollo are litter mates who we believe are bonded. They got separated while running loose and tried desperately to find each other. Once each one was captured, miles apart, they were reunited. They were so happy to see each other. We’d love to see them go home together. They are such good boys. They are both Friendly and playful. They need a good grooming after being on the run for a week or so. We will get pictures of them after the groom to show hiw beautiful they are

Story
Remi and Apollo are believed to be litter mates who have been together their whole life. They got separated while running loose and wound up miles apart. They tried desperately to find each other. Once captured, miles apart, they were reunited at the kennel. They are so happy to be back together sharing a kennel space, eating together and sleeping snuggled together. They are very friendly and sweet boys. They are silly and playful and quiet for Huskies. We are looking for a home for both of them together.

******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. ___ Meet Celine Dion – a stunning 4-year-old Greyhound/Lab mix with a personality as big as her name! Weighing in around 58 pounds, Celine was rescued from the euthanasia list at a Houston shelter and has been thriving ever since in her loving foster home in North Carolina. She’s spayed, healthy, and available for out-of-state adoption once matched with an approved adopter—transport can be arranged to bring this superstar home to you! Celine is joyful, curious, and always ready for fun. She brings a playful spark wherever she goes—whether it’s romping in the yard with dog friends, chasing her favorite toy, or exploring new places. Her ideal playmates are other large dogs who enjoy an energetic buddy and don’t mind a little bounce in their step. She’d also be perfectly happy as the center of attention in a home where she can get plenty of activity and enrichment. This sweet girl is making great strides with her leash manners and training. She’s crate trained, housebroken, and settles quickly after an initial burst of excitement when it’s time for a walk. She’s eager to please and motivated by treats, which makes her a fun and responsive learner. Celine adores people and has done wonderfully around her foster’s 12-year-old child. She gets so excited to say hello that she sometimes forgets her size—but she’s learning to greet people more gently and is improving every day. Because of her enthusiasm, we recommend a home with kids over 10 who are comfortable around playful, happy dogs. She’s respectful with toys and food, shows no guarding behavior, and enjoys being near her humans for affection, praise, and snuggles. In the car, she may pant at first, but she’s gaining confidence with each ride—and a few more adventures will help her become a travel pro. Celine would thrive in an active home with room to stretch her legs, regular walks, and loving guidance to help her keep growing into her best self. Whether she’s your one-and-only or joins a friendly pack, she’s ready to fill your days with laughter, companionship, and love. Ready to be serenaded daily with joy and tail wags? Celine Dion is waiting to steal your heart. ___ ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her? WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾✨ Meet Huckleberry Finn — Searching for His Tom Sawyer ✨🐾 Age: 3 years Weight: 43 lbs Breed Blend: Alaskan Klee Kai–type (aka: compact husky charm with extra personality) Huckleberry Finn isn’t just a dog — he’s an adventure waiting to happen. With his bright eyes, playful spirit, and happy-go-lucky personality, Huck is always ready for whatever the day brings… especially if it involves fun, friends, or snacks. He’s currently living peacefully with other dogs and cats (yes, even the cats), proving he’s as easygoing as he is handsome. Best of all? He’s got the brains and the manners. 🐾 Huckleberry Finn’s Favorite Things: 🦴 His beloved dog bone (though sticks and “found treasures” are also acceptable) 🤲 Head and belly rubs — bonus points if both happen at once 🐾His signature moves: • A Snoopy-style howl • The adorable head tilt + paw lift combo • Leaning his whole body into you like, “Yep. You’re mine now.” ✅ Why Huck Is the Total Package: Sweet, affectionate, and gentle Great with kids, dogs, and even cats House-trained and knows basic commands Smart and eager to learn (already understands a lot of 'human talk') Playful, adventurous, and loving 🏡 Huck’s Ideal Home: A fenced yard, an active household, and people who want a dog that’s truly part of the family. Huck would love daily adventures, backyard playtime, and evenings spent relaxing with his favorite humans. Huckleberry Finn is searching for his Tom Sawyer — someone to explore life with, share laughs, and make memories alongside. He’s loyal, loving, and ready to be your best friend for life. ✨ Ready to start your adventure? Apply for Huckleberry Finn today at haydudeequine.org and let the adventurous journey begin! 🐾💙
