Story
Est. DOB 1/15/2023, WEIGHT ~50 LB. Hi my name is Zeus!  Everyone says I am so handsome (after all, I was named  after a Greek god), don’t you agree? My foster mom says I'm one of the smartest dogs she's ever known and she's fostered many dogs over the years.  I'm a teenager and I learn very quickly. I love everyone and just love to play with my brother, Apollo, especially in our kiddie wading pool.  I'd love to meet you, I know we could be the best of friends furever! HOPE ID D23-0628-0024 If you are interested in Zeus and would like to fill out a Dog Adoption Application, please go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt from us but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com  and a HOPE volunteer will get back to you.May 6, 2024, 12:07 am

Story
Blue eyed God ...  Est. DOB 1/15/2023, WEIGHT ~50 LB. I’m Alive … My name is Apollo and I’m alive because I have a foster home.  I’m alive because my foster mom made a small sacrifice and rescued me, made some small adjustments to her routine and welcomed me into her home.  Now I’m looking for my furever home.  I’m quite intelligent if I say so myself, and quite loveable too.  I love to play (I’m a teenager) so if you like to play fetch, I’m your boy!  Or we could just chill on the couch.   I love playing with other dogs too. I know you’re a caring person because you’re looking for a furbaby to add to your family and guess what: you’d be saving two dog’s by adopting me because then my foster mom could rescue another dog in need!  Thank you for caring and wanting to adopt a rescue dog, I hope you’ll come to HOPE adoptions this weekend to meet me and see if we’re a fit for each other.  Paws crossed! Apollo   HOPE ID D23-0429-0020 If you are interested in Apollo and would like to fill out a Dog Adoption Application, please go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php . Story
If you would like more information about Pup or are interested in adopting her, please send an email to jeffenson913@gmail.com or contact this number, 917.628.7262 This rescued husky is as loving and affectionate as can be, and looking for a forever family who enjoys playtime and snuggling. We encountered Pup as a street stray and she was unfortunately wounded in the neck – it is assumed from a rope or chain. We got her immediate emergency care for treatment, and quickly formed an ongoing treatment plan with a primary care vet. She is well down the road to healing and is in excellent spirits. In this process we have ensured she was spayed and vaccinated; and received any other medical treatments necessary. While Pup has been a kind dog, we have two cats that we keep separate and a younger child. We believe she would be better suited to a home without cats and with older children (10+). Pup is high-energy and loves to play ball and take long walks. She is in good shape, house broken, and just needs the right home for her. Story
***Courtesy Post*** Introducing Kora! Kora is a 1-year-old husky mix with a fun loving personality. She still has lots of puppy playfulness and energy and loves to play with other dogs. Kora does chase cats and squirrels, in true husky fashion, but has shown zero aggression… it’s all about running!! She loves to run and does so endlessly with her foster mates. She also loves toys, snacks, and belly rubs. Kora would be a great addition to any family looking for a sweet, playful pup! For more information about Kora, please contact Jarad at: jarad.poser@gmail.com (512) 554-8519

Story
If you would like more information about Chloe or are interested in adopting her, please contact this number, 346-297-3779 Chloe has had a rough story in the 2 months I’ve been taking care of her. I found her in a truck yard in Humble covered in dirt, skinny, weak and starved. I love animals and couldn’t in good conscience leave her there. I cleaned her up and brought her home hoping I could either find her owner or find her a nice home. Anything would’ve been better than the truck yard. To our surprise, about a month into keeping her, I discovered she was pregnant when I took her to the vet for a checkup. They told me to expect puppies in the next 2 weeks. The very next morning Chloe gave birth to her puppies. I’ve been taking care of Chloe and her babies, and now they have been weaned. Chloe is even sweeter than my current dog at home and that really says something, She’s also very laid back and house trained. In addition, she is trainable and highly intelligent. I would like to find Chloe a home where she can get the love, time and effort she deserves after going through this series of events. Story
If you would like more information about Flash or are interested in adopting him, please contact this number, 346-297-3779 Flash and his siblings were born to a great mom and are now weaned and available to be adopted. Flash is the baby of the group and the sweetest of them all. Flash was the smallest in the litter for as long as we’ve had him. We named him Flash because of how elusive and fast he always has been. He is a sweetheart. He’s always staying out of everyone’s business and doing his own thing. Flash is one of the funniest followers in the group when walking.
