Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs! To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info!   ***I am able to go home to my forever family right off of transport! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!***   Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on November 21st and arrive on November 22nd, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 10/31/2025 Dog Name: Dakota Sex: Female Estimated Breed: Siberian Husky Mix Approximate Age: 1-2 years Approximate Weight: 35-40 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Spayed Description: This sweet girl was surrendered so she wouldn’t be picked up by the local kill shelter. She is such a good girl, she loves belly rubs, loves cooler weather & she loves her furry foster siblings. Plus, she is good with kids, cats, and other dogs. This beautiful girl deserves a second chance and will do fantastic in a state that sees snow that she can run and play in! She is tired of the Texas heat and ready to start her new forever! Adoption Fee: $450We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. November 10, 2025, 11:41 pm

Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 11/30/2025 Dog Name: Auggie Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Husky Mix Approximate Age: 2.5 Years Approximate Weight: 57 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Neutered  Description: Auggie is a very friendly boy. His rough start at life does not define him. He was found in a landfill in TX and due to his living conditions, has endured some medical necessities up here in WI. He has an enlarged left eye due to glaucoma. This is being treated with eye drops and meds in hopes that we can relieve the pressure behind his eye and save it. If the meds don't work, the best thing per vets recommendations is to remove the eye so he is not in pain. Regardless, he lets me administer all drops/meds. He does not fight back. He is a super easy going dog and will make a family very happy. If you are familiar with the husky breed (sassy back talkers, LOL), this guy is for you! He is also good with all humans, does not jump on you and has not tried to jump on beds/couches despite our dogs going on them. He does not get rough when playing and seems to prefer lying by your feet whether you work from home or are watching tv. He will also watch you cook in the kitchen and stay close to his humans. He truly is a lover! Adoption Fee: $450We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. Adopt a Pet from Mutt Life! Looking to add a furry friend to your family? At Mutt Life Rescue of Wisconsin, we have loving pets waiting for their forever homes. Explore our adoptable animals and find your perfect match today! For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Meet Sheeba Sheeba is a sweet senior girl who made it safely to Wisconsin and is settling in nicely in her foster home! She’s reunited with her friend Scooby and couldn’t be happier. Sheeba is an easy-peasy girl who just wants to hang out, get pets, and enjoy all the love her foster family has to offer. Unfortunately, Sheeba and Scooby were “found as strays” and dropped off at the shelter. They looked well cared for, and with their matching collars and leashes, it was clear they weren’t strays at all — they were someone’s beloved dogs who were sadly left at the shelter. Scooby was able to come up on our transport in October, but Sheeba had to stay behind to finish her heartworm treatment, as she tested positive when she arrived at the shelter. She’s still completing her treatment but was able to make the trip to Wisconsin safely and is now thriving in her foster home. From a rough start to a second chance, Sheeba is thriving. She enjoys quiet companionship, gentle play, and soaking up attention. Sheeba is also working on the basics of dog life, including potty training, crate training, and leash manners — but her easygoing personality makes it all a breeze. We would absolutely love to find a forever home where "Scooby and Sheeba can stay together" and live out their days as best friends. To make this extra special, we’re offering a discounted adoption for both dogs together. Story
Haitchi is a stunning husky. For his big size he may seem scary but overall, he is just a big cuddle butt. He will somehow find a way to lay on you even if it’s cramped. He LOVES human attention & will do anything for it. Haitchi tends to do better with female dogs rather than male since he was neutered recently so he gets dominant with males. For a husky Haitchi is surprisingly not that loud & is pretty chill in the house. He does get very excited for walks & is an escape artist.Apply at Rescuegang.orgDATCP#483538
