Story
Hello handsome! Meet Bernard, an Alaskan Husky mix who weighs about 53lbs. This sweet boy is stunning on the inside and out! Even though he can be a little shy when you first meet him, he warms up with treats and toys. This heartthrob is also a ladies man, and prefers the company of women over men. Young children also tend to make him nervous, a home with 13+ kids will be best. He seems to enjoy the company of other dogs as well, and can be cat tested for an approved adopter! He's considered a medium energy guy who likes squeaky toys, playing fetch, and neck scratches! He walks excellent on a leash and would make a terrific walking buddy! He is also food motivated which can make training easier. You can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about Bernard on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/40103261297/ Ask to meet him today!!Adoption fee: $450All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. We are a group of volunteers with families and jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response. JR's Pups-N-Stuff Dog Sellers License 512395-DS

Story
Meet Molly, an adorable and affectionate doll of a dog! This sweet senior gal thrives on head and chest scratches, and she's a pro at enjoying car rides. Molly is not only well-versed in using a doggy door but also brings a wealth of love and charm to any family. In search of a loving home that will cherish her, Molly is not just dog-friendly but also great with kids. FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping. For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics. To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.

Story
· Intake Reason: transferredKnown with:· Cats: unknown· Dogs: does well in WCHS playgroups· Kids: unknown· Personality: Very active and playful, tends to pull on leash, just LOVES running around in the courtyardHey there, my name is Fox and I am quite a hunk. A while back my sister and I were abandoned in an apartment and I did my best to take care of her. Lucky for both of us we were found and brought to a rescue where we got lots of TLC. When we got the chance to be transferred to WCHS to search for our forever families, we jumped at the chance; everyone in Wisconsin has been super nice. With my handsome wolflike coat, I think I am going to really enjoy the cooler temperatures here. I am friendly and even a bit hyper; I am a high-octane dude. Although I weigh about 50 pounds, I am still a youngster and have some more growing to do. I hope we can take some classes together so I can practice obedience and manners before I am fully grown; I want to be welcome wherever we go. I have so much to learn, discover and explore and I am counting on you to help me safely navigate the world and experience new things each day to allow me to grow into a confident young dog. I also know I have to practice something called house-training so I know proper potty behavior. A routine, lots of yummy treats and praise will go a long way to helping me master house-training when I potty outside. Puppies and dogs need love, exercise, mental stimulation and consistency to be healthy, happy and confident. I have been having a blast romping in the playgroups at the shelter; I am a rough player so I do need my mates to understand I am just having a good time. I am a free-spirit who is good-natured to everyone. I am light on my feet and very athletic so I think I would like to have a job or two. It would be grand to get involved in canine sports or participate in other fun activities like nose work, dog parkour or rally. I will be counting on you to keep me safe and secure because my wanderlust and sense of adventure could get the best of me. I love to talk with my humans and keep you informed about everything in our surroundings; some call me a tad chatty. I promise to be a loyal companion forever and hope you stop by to meet me in person and discover how dynamic I am.#1

Lucas, male 2yr old Husky, weighs 55lbs Lucas had a home, had a loving owner, had a good and well cared for life. One day that all came crashing down on him when his owner died very unexpectedly. He felt lost and alone, and needed time to grieve. Lucas is now ready to start a new life with a new family. He has the sweetest personality. Not your typical high energy, noisy husky, this boy is on the quiet side. He enjoys playing with other dogs and has been very tolerant even with the rambunctious ones. Lucas is house broken and walks great on a leash. He would enjoy some older kids to play with and hangout with. His whole goal in life is to please you and enjoy a cushy dog bed again.
