Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!***I am able to go home to my forever family right off of transport! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Updated: 2/10/25 Dog Name: Sunny Sex: Female Spay Status: She is spayed  Estimated Breed Mix: Husky/Border Collie Mix Approximate Age: 2.5 years  Approximate Weight: approx. 55 lbs Adoption Fee: $450 Description: Sunny has lived a hard life, often being seen in town at restaurants and the grocery store begging for food and having to fend for herself but never letting anyone pick her up. Some dogs just know when they need help and they are ready to be saved. Sunny walked right up to a stranger finally and asked for help- she was very pregnant and as the weather was getting colder, she knew she needed help! 5 days later- she gave birth to a beautiful set of babies, the Sunny Litter, her last litter ever!  Sunny is a sweet and resilient girl who’s come a long way from her rough beginnings on the streets of Texas. Now in Wisconsin, she’s loving the cozy comforts of her new foster home—especially her warm bed and the security of knowing she’s safe and loved. Sunny is all about snuggles and affection, happily curling up next to her humans! She gets along great with other dogs! She loves to play and enjoys outdoor adventures, making the most of her second chance at a happy life. She has been the best momma dog and now she is ready to start the next chapter of her life! With her loving heart and joyful personality, Sunny is ready to share her warmth with the perfect family.    We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. February 14, 2025, 4:00 pm

Winnie, female, 3yr old Husky mix, weighs 57lbs Winnie was brought into a Texas shelter last July and had been there ever since. Her days seemed endless with no forever family in sight. We brought Winnie here in hopes of finding that forever home she so deserves. She is sweet with other dogs and is eager to feel loved. She has that typical husky personality that will put a smile on your face daily. Winnie would love a doggy companion in her forever home to play with and be besties with.  A fenced in yard would be icing on the cake, but not a deal breaker. Story
Meet Leo! Leo has been DNA tested and we know that he is a Siberian Husky/Great Pyrenees/Mountain Cur mix. He has a beautiful soft golden coat with golden brown eyes. Leo is a very sweet boy who loves to be with his humans, but he is leery of men until he gets to know them. He does overcome this fear with the help of treats and patience. Next thing you know, he will be your best friend. At the shelter, Leo was known as the play yard rockstar because he gets along so well with other dogs. He knows several commands, such as "sit, "down, "shake, and "leave it". Leo will need a 6 foot privacy fenced backyard and a playful canine companion in his new home. Leo can't wait to meet you!
