Story
Odin is 10 1/2 months old, and he’s 50% Husky, 25% German Shepherd and 25% Alaskan Malamute. He’s been neutered in July, microchipped, and has all his shots. We got him 5 ago months through a family friend that couldn’t keep him any longer. My husband and I sadly just don’t have time to give him the life he deserves. Since he’s still a puppy he needs more exercise than we can offer. He’s very well mannered, and does not bark. Fully potty trained and crate trained. Very good on walking with a leash, great with kids and other animals. He loves playing in water, and chewing on tennis balls. He typically goes the the groomer once a month to get a sanitary trim/deshedding/bath. He has no food or toy aggression, and has no problem with you touching his paws. If you have any questions, and would like to meet him please message me and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Also I can add in all of his food/toys/leashes and crate for an additional fee.

Story
·Intake Reason: Transfer from MADACC·Weight: 65 lbs. Known with: ·Cats: Unknown ·Dogs: Unknown ·Kids: Unknown ·Personality: Active; Escape artistHi, my name is Willow and I am a high energy girl who is looking for a family who has experience with my breed. I am playful, athletic and agile; I love the great outdoors and am happiest when I have plenty of outlets for my abundant energy. Huskies love people and being with humans but we also can get bored easily and then we go in search of adventure. If I had to guess, I would think my wanderlust spirit may have led to me being a stray at MADACC (Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission) before I was transferred to WCHS. I am a brilliant escape artist who is always up for a challenge; it would be lovely to put my skills to the test with mentally challenging games and toys. I am very affectionate and enjoy hugging people; who wouldn't want a furry embrace from a cheerful pooch? I would appreciate patient and positive training and will need a calm assertive person who I can look up to as a leader. It would be great to take some classes with you; training could be one of my jobs. I am an outgoing girl who likes to stay busy and would love to have a job or two; I would excel in canine sports, pulling carts, wearing a backpack on long hikes or nose work. I have a mischievous streak that will keep you laughing as long as you keep a sense of humor; just remember that laughter keeps you young. If you are looking for an exquisite free-spirit with ice-blue eyes who will add love and fun to your life, I believe your search is over. Come by to meet me in person, let me give you a big hug, we can romp a bit and fall in love.#2

Story
Puppies are magnificent! I am cute, rambunctious, lively and fun. I have so much to learn, discover and explore - just a tiny sponge who is ready to absorb everything you have to teach me and show me. I am counting on you to help me safely navigate the world and experience new things each day to allow me to grow into a confident young dog. That isn't as exotic and daunting a task as it might sound. Each day I just need to be introduced to one new thing like the sound of a vacuum, a blender or a door bell, walking up and down a step, a ride in a car, hearing a motorcycle or a truck, going somewhere to see new people, even maneuvering a fallen log on a walk. You get the idea, so many things that seem common to you are completely new to me. Speaking of growing, I may be tiny now but I do plan on getting bigger so I would love to take obedience classes to learn proper manners and social skills. I also know I have to practice something called house-training so I know proper potty behavior. A routine and lots of yummy treats and praise will go a long way to helping me master house-training when I potty outside. Puppies and dogs need love, exercise, mental stimulation and consistency to be healthy, happy and confident. I am typically very open to all sorts of housemates; I can be a bit mischievous and may find any other critter as a potential playmate so they will need to understand that about me. I often explore the world with my mouth and while I am teething I like to chew; my little puppy teeth are very sharp so if I am around children we should always be supervised. It is important that children learn about respecting me, too, and treat me gently because I am fragile. Raising a puppy is a big responsibility, a lot of work, and it may interrupt your sleep cycle for a bit, but a courteous and well-behaved dog is certainly worth the investment and I promise to be loyal, love you unconditionally and be a companion forever. I just know I will bring joy and laughter into your home and cannot wait to meet you. Let the adventures begin!

Story
Leo is a 3-year-old husky looking for his forever home! He is a great pup, non-destructive and is friendly with everyone he meets! He likes dogs but would do best as an only dog. Cats are unknown. Leo enjoys going for walks but is very overweight & will need an adopter committed to following a care plan. Housebroken & knows some basic commands. He is a typical vocal husky who wants to be your best friend! His favorite things are walks and attention. Single-family homes only.DATCP# 483538
