For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Chad made it to Wisconsin on 3/21/26 with Mutt Life Dog Rescue and is settling into his foster home and doing well! Meet Chad Chad is a 1-year-old Siberian Husky who is ready for a fresh start. He came into the shelter as a stray and, sadly, no one came to reclaim him. Now he’s hoping someone will give him the second chance he deserves. Chad is a silly, goofy boy with a sweet and affectionate personality. He absolutely loves belly rubs and hugs and can be just a bit of a velcro dog — happiest when he’s close to his people. He’s very treat motivated, which makes him eager to learn and fun to work with. In new situations, Chad can be a little unsure and may do an adorable belly crawl while he builds confidence. Once he feels comfortable, his playful side shines. He enjoys playing with other dogs and tends to be more submissive during play, especially with his friend Karen. He would likely do well with another friendly dog. He is good with kids. Chad weighs 45 lbs, is heartworm negative, and is not yet neutered. He has decent leash manners and, like any young husky, will benefit from continued structure, exercise, and positive reinforcement training. Age: 1 year Gender: Male Weight: 45 lbs Breed: Siberian Husky Spayed/Neutered: Yes Potty Trained: Unsure Crate Trained: Unsure Leash Manners: Good Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not tested Good with Kids: Yes Chad is available for the 3/21/26 transport and is ready to keep moving forward. He would love a foster or adoptive home to help make that happen. If you’re able to foster or adopt, please apply today. www.muttlife.org __________ Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up-to-date dewormer, vaccinations, heartworm prevention (age appropriate), and certified veterinarian inspection within 30 days of adoption. __________ Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies _________ ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.) Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. 3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $125 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**

She is a sweet girl who loves affection. She benefits from slow introductions to other dogs! Sallie Mae is looking for a home without cats. She loves kids! She is working on crate training and does well on a leash! She is so beautiful and has a coat made for Wisconsin living! She loves to be outside! Help Sallie Mae find her forever home!   Adoption Fee: $450We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. March 25, 2026, 9:20 am

Meet Nova! Nova is a beautiful, one-year-old husky with the sweetest soul. She is incredibly loving and thrives when she’s around her people — whether that’s going for walks, hanging out at home, or just being part of the action. She has a fun, playful personality and keeps you laughing with her expressions and classic husky attitude. Nova is eager to learn, people-oriented, and a joy to work with. She already knows basic commands including sit, shake, and touch, Nova is doing very well with both potty training and kennel training and has adapted quickly to a home environment. She also loves playing with toys and chewing on bones. She gets along well with other dogs and would be happy with a canine companion or as the center of attention in her new home. True to her breed, Nova has the classic husky “woo” and loves to talk to her people. Nova will thrive in an active home where she can get regular exercise, as she truly enjoys staying busy. She would make a great hiking, walking, or adventure buddy. Nova is a classic husky — vocal, smart, playful, and full of personality — and will thrive with someone who appreciates the breed’s charm and energy. Nova is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. She is available for transport, the adopter will be responsible for the fees. Apply at forrescue.net

Story
Izzy AKA: “Good luck spotting me in a snowstorm!” Vibe Check: Doggie Beauty Pageant Queen… but make it gentle, soulful, and soft as a cloud. Fun Fact: When Izzy plays in the snow, it becomes a live-action game of Where’s Waldo? (Spoiler: I'm fluffier than Waldo.) Rescue: Albert’s Dog Lounge Age: Golden Oldie — think Sophia from Golden Girls energy. Senior status, much younger than senior attitude. Weight: 57 lbs of pure, imperial elegance. Health Notes (HIPAA who?): Izzy is in remarkable shape for her age! • Mild arthritis (ARF-ritis!) — managed with Galliprant (about $1 a day) • Grade 3 heart murmur — no meds needed • Deaf… or selectively ignoring you. Jury’s out. Current Residence: De Pere, WI — patiently waiting for a Green Bay Packer to adopt her because can you even imagine her in a Jordan Love jersey and a yellow-and-green tutu?! Iconic. Activity Level: Low-key queen. Walks are her jam. Marathons? Hard pass. Social Skills: Dogs? Yes please. Cats? Let’s cuddle. Kids? If you have hands and give pets, you are approved. Sleep Style: Dog bed or soft blanket near your bed. Close enough to feel safe. Not so close that she’s stealing your pillow. (She has boundaries. Regal ones.) Dining Preferences: High-quality kibble and alllll the snackies. She eats politely, stops when she’s full, doesn’t guard her bowl, and doesn’t counter surf. A literal lady. Bark-O-Meter: 1/10. A queen does not shout. She announces potty needs. Shedding Meter: 5/10. Currently blowing her winter coat and briefly turned her foster home into an indoor snow globe. But regular brushing = very manageable fluff. (Just had an undercoat blow out. Trust me, it helps) Fashion Sense: Emerald green sequined gown + tiara. Unless she’s adopted by the Packers. Then it’s jersey + tutu season. Signature Color: Emerald green Walk-Out Song: “I’m Winning” by Santana (that message... and those guitar riffs!) Signature Move: Walk the catwalk… STOP… model pose. Love Language: Napping near you so you are the first thing she sees when she opens her beautiful eyes. The Part That Matters Most: Izzy has been deeply loved — twice — by people who had to say goodbye only because their bodies couldn’t keep up anymore. She isn’t looking for excitement. She isn’t looking for chaos. She’s looking for one more person to walk gently into the future with. If you want elegance, sweetness, and a little snow camouflage magic in your life… Izzy is ready. Spayed Microchipped Potty trained and will talk to tell when it is time Good on a leash Neither needs nor likes being in a crate Enjoys car rides UTD on vaccinations UTD on preventatives Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and then a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $350, ($600 for a pair). Of Agriculture License Number: 474085-DS NOTE ABOUT AGING A DOG: Aging a dog, based on looking at them, is unreliable and usually inaccurate. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality and their needs.
