Meet Kiko 🐺 This high-energy heartthrob is the definition of husky charm — confident, quirky, and impossible to ignore. With one icy blue eye and one warm honey brown, he’s got the kind of gaze that stops you in your tracks. Pictures? They don’t even come close. ✅ House-trained ✅ Dog-friendly ✅ Totally cool with being rubbed all over (and will flop for a belly rub in a heartbeat) 🚫 No known experience with cats or small kids Kiko walks well on a leash (but still pulls a bit — there’s just so much to sniff out there!), and while he’s independent and not overly clingy, he’s always tuned in. Treats? Meh. Affection? Sure, if you insist. Adventures? YES, PLEASE. He’s looking for a ride and a place to land — maybe with you? 📍Foster or adopt to help Kiko catch his ride from Georgia to Wisconsin on June 21st. 💙 Let’s get this handsome husky the fresh start he deserves! 📩 Message us or visit muttlife.org/adopt to learn more. #MuttLifeWI #TransportNeeded #AdoptKiko #HuskyLife #RescueRide #WisconsinBound 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝: Husky 𝐀𝐠𝐞: 1 Year 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫: Male 𝐒𝐢𝐳𝐞: 51lbs 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐲/𝐍𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝: No 𝐏𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝: Yes 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝: Unknown 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬: Working on it 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐠𝐬: Yes 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐬: Unknown 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐬: Unknown __________ Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter procedure, up-to-date dewormer, vaccinations, heartworm prevention (age appropriate), and certified veterinarian inspection within 30 days of adoption. __________ Review adoption requirements and ensure you meet the necessary criteria to apply! https://www.muttlife.org/adoption-policies _________ ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.) Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. 3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**

Lorelai can't wait to find her furver family here in Wisconsin!  Adoption Fee: $550  We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. June 9, 2025, 10:39 pm
