🚐✨ KIKO NEEDS A RIDE! ✨🚐
Headed to Wisconsin on 6/21/25 with Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin, this stunning husky is ready to make his journey north — he just needs a foster or adopter to make it happen!
Meet Kiko 🐺
This high-energy heartthrob is the definition of husky charm — confident, quirky, and impossible to ignore. With one icy blue eye and one warm honey brown, he’s got the kind of gaze that stops you in your tracks. Pictures? They don’t even come close.
✅ House-trained
✅ Dog-friendly
✅ Totally cool with being rubbed all over (and will flop for a belly rub in a heartbeat)
🚫 No known experience with cats or small kids
Kiko walks well on a leash (but still pulls a bit — there’s just so much to sniff out there!), and while he’s independent and not overly clingy, he’s always tuned in. Treats? Meh. Affection? Sure, if you insist. Adventures? YES, PLEASE.
He’s looking for a ride and a place to land — maybe with you?
📍Foster or adopt to help Kiko catch his ride from Georgia to Wisconsin on June 21st.
💙 Let’s get this handsome husky the fresh start he deserves!

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1.) Apply: Fill out an adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents.
2.) Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email.
3.) Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: After approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5-day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure it's the right fit.
4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue.
5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process, we conduct a home visit either in person or via Zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have.
6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI, or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old.
**Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
