Kraken’s story began with a rough start, but this determined little Husky mix is proof that love and care can make all the difference. Along with his siblings, Kraken was found as a newborn without a mom to care for him. Thanks to a devoted foster who bottle-fed him around the clock, he’s grown into a strong, happy, and playful pup ready for his next big adventure. Now about 6–7 weeks old (as of 11/5) and weighing around 8 pounds, Kraken is a confident, curious boy who loves to explore and play. He’s full of puppy energy and joy but also loves to settle in for snuggles after a long day of fun. He’s still learning the basics — potty training, crate time, and leash walking — but with his bright personality and eagerness to please, he’s sure to catch on quickly. Kraken is great with dogs, cats, and kids, and would fit perfectly into a loving, active home. After a tough start, he’s ready for the comfort, love, and adventure of a forever family. Story
Sheeba Needs a Foster or Adopter by 11/15 to Secure Her Ride to Wisconsin! Without a place for her to go once she gets to WI, she won’t be able to make the trip. Sheeba is a 10-year-old Husky/Anatolian Shepherd mix with a gentle and sweet personality. She was found as a stray alongside another dog, Scooby (who has already made it to Wisconsin and is thriving in a foster home). While Sheeba had to stay behind to finish her heartworm treatment, she’s now healthy and ready to start the next chapter of her life. This beautiful, mature girl is super sweet and laid-back, getting along well with other dogs — though she prefers calm companions and isn’t a fan of dogs jumping on her (who does?). Sheeba is looking for a quiet, stable home where she can enjoy her golden years with mature friends who appreciate her gentle personality. She’s likely potty trained and thrives in a calm, low-stress environment. Sex: Female Age: About 10 years Breed: Husky/Anatolian Shepherd mix (best guess) Weight: 75 lbs Altered: Yes Potty Trained: Likely Crate Trained: Unknown Leash Manners: Calm Good with Dogs: Yes (prefers calm dogs) Good with Cats: Unknown Good with Kids: Yes, older kids
