Story
Cali is smart, strong, happy girl looking to explore! She loves going on walks, especially finding sticks to chew on or holes to dig, before taking long nap on the couch with lots of soft blankets and pillows. She’s sweet and snuggly, and still building her confidence when meeting new people and dogs. While she might be a bit unsure at first, she warms up really fast and wants to give all the face kisses!  She does great in her crate overnight (goes in easily, goes right to sleep) and for 3-4 hour stretches during the day. She loves to chew on her toys while watching tv, will play chase and fetch, and wrestle with people or other dogs. She’s treat motivated and does well on a leash. She played great with her puppy siblings, and is curious but not overly focused when meeting older dogs.  At 12 weeks old, she’s got a lot of growing to do so if you’re looking for a great adventure buddy that also wants to snuggle, she’s your girl!  This animal is fostered in: New Berlin, WI Applicant must be willing to commute to this area for a meet and greet. All of our animals reside in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their perfect match. If you are interested in meeting this animal, please complete an adoption application on our website: https://www.BestPawsRescue.com Ages and breeds are our best estimates, and we cannot make any guarantees. Most of our animals come from overcrowded shelters with limited resources. We do our best to evaluate each animal’s behavior and medical needs and place them into loving foster homes until they are ready to go home with you. Our organization is operated entirely by dedicated volunteers who give their time and love out of the goodness of their hearts. ##2719277##

Explore our adoptable animals and find your perfect match today! For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Foster or Adopter Needed by 6/3/26 Blitz needs a committed foster or adopter to secure his ride from Fort Bend Animal Services in Texas to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on 6/3/26 in partnership with Dog Is My CoPilot. Without a home commitment, he cannot make transport. Meet Blitz Blitz is a stunning 4-year-old Husky with striking blue eyes and a calm, gentle personality to match. While his looks may catch your attention first, it is his easygoing nature that truly makes him special. Blitz is more of a laid-back guy who enjoys taking in the world around him at his own pace. He has a lower energy level and is perfectly content spending time sniffing, exploring, and quietly entertaining himself. He also enjoys affection and happily soaks up pets and attention from people. He is excellent on a leash and walks without pulling, making him an easy companion for daily walks and outings. Blitz has an attentive, thoughtful personality and enjoys treats and squeaky toys, though he is not overly intense or demanding. Blitz was a total gentleman when meeting other dogs. Even when another dog mounted him during introductions, he remained calm and unbothered. He has a very “go with the flow” personality and seems comfortable around other dogs without needing to be the center of attention. Because of his calm temperament and lower energy level, staff believe he would likely do well around children. His potty-training status is unknown at this time. Age: 4 years Gender: Male (neutered) Weight: 50 lbs Breed: Husky Mix Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not tested Good with Kids: Likely yes Potty Trained: Unsure Crate Trained: Unsure Leash Trained: Yes Blitz is ready to leave shelter life behind and start his next chapter in a loving home.
