He loves to play and romp around in the grass and overall is just a delight to be around. He has received his first set of shots and dewormer and is doing great in his foster home. Chestnut would do best in a home that is committed to training a puppy. He is crate trained, and working on potty training. Chestnut is great with other dogs, big and small, and is also good with cats! Teddy is a beautiful, 2 year old, 38 lb. male labradoodle w' a somewhat sad history. 6 months ago he was found by animal control abandoned on the streets of Bakersfield. We have been his guardians since. Teddy is healthy, playful, house-broken, a good eater, not food aggressive, obedient, loves sleeping in his crate, is sweet & craves affection. Has had a lot of training & obeys the basics. Full disclosure: From his trauma, he is afraid of other dogs & can be reactive w' people – nipping & sometimes biting because he is anxious & insecure, but has proven to do great & not have these behavior problems in structured environments i.e. the ranch when we're away & in training sessions. Teddy needs strong leadership & structure; someone willing to work w' him to build his confidence. A patient, experienced dog person with a pack mentality. He has great potential w' the right person. Our amazing trainer Brett Endes, “Dog Savant” has offered to assist in the transition at no charge.

Layla has alot of energy but now walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, and is house and crate trained. Layla is very sensitive, showing qualities and potential to be a wonderful service dog in the right hands. She bonds easily with her human. Layla is healthy, spayed, weighs 60 lbs and is about 4 yrs old. A home with a fenced secure yard is required and someone who works from home would be a big plus. Champ is a good boy. We got him when he was 3 months old and was raised inside the home with an elderly man. He was rescued and we have been fostering him and now we need to move and can’t have a large dog. It would also be stressful to move him Away from SoCal. He goes to doggy daycare every day so he socializes with other dogs and loves kids. He is skiddish with noises but loves a big yard to move around and needs a good family to take him in.
