Brodie is great dog, unfortunately due to health issues I am looking to rehome him. He is 4 years 5 months old, and very energetic and playful. Loves company and other dogs.Likes to go for short or long walks, and loves going to the dog park. Tolerates cats, never has attacked any. Likes to chase my daughter's cat when we go there, but looking to play, not hurt. He is very vocal when he gets excited, which scares alot of people, because of his size. But it is his way of saying lets play. A very active energetic house would be great for him. He is housetrained. Currently uses a doggy door to go in and out as needed, but also has not ever had a accident when no doggy door is available, as long as bathroom breaks are given. Please think of opening your home to him.

PonyBoy is just as special as his Outsiders namesake—one of a kind, full of heart, and impossible not to love. This 6-year-old, 38-pound Labradoodle looks like a little bear and has a personality to match. He was rehomed when his owner needed surgery with a long recovery and wanted to make sure he got the love and attention he deserves. PonyBoy is a total sweetheart. He loves his people (especially his foster dad), walks nicely on a leash, and gets along well with his doggie foster siblings. He’s also obsessed with toys. PonyBoy does have epilepsy, which is managed with medication, but he’d do best in a home where someone is around a lot to keep an eye on him. *PLEASE NOTE: The first step in the process is to complete an adoption application on our website roversretreat.org * Drake is loving life in his foster home, but now it’s time for him to find his furever family… We rescued Drake back in 2020. He is a 7 year old pup now and we guess he is a labradoodle mix. He was adopted a few years ago but recently, instead of contacting us to surrender the Drake back to us when they were unable to keep him, the adopter brought him to the shelter. Not only did they bring him to the shelter, they told the shelter to EUTHANIZE HIM!! Why? Because he is reactive/ doesn’t get along with small dogs, something they knew when they adopted him. Thankfully we were notified and able to get him back into our care quickly. He has been doing so well in foster and deserves to finally find the right people. Drake is a big boy (100+ pounds, but does need to lose some weight) and loves cuddles. He greatly enjoys long walks and car rides. He is super smart and food motivated. Drake is a go with the flow dude who just wants people to love. He would be best as the only animal in the home and with people committed to managing his reactivity. He is very easy to redirect with treats and will thrive with the right people. Spunky and Sassy...that's our Shelby! This pretty puppy is Shelby and she is a 19lb, 10 month old Doodle mix. Our vet believes she is part or mostly Labradoodle but who knows? Whatever doodle she is...she is absolutely adorable! We got Shelby as an owner surrender when the couple felt that they didn't have the time for a new puppy. It's ok because we agreed to take her into our foundation and promised to find her the forever home she deserves. Shelby needs a very specific home because she is puppy...ALL puppy! She needs a relaxed home that is active and has another "young" and "playful" dog in the home. She cannot be an "only" dog. We do have two different dogs that are his best friends and would be perfect for her! We also want her in a home with a safe and secure yard that she can run around in. A home with owners that are home most of the day would be ideal for this little mischievous pup! Shelby is just a big goofy, silly, and loving puppy that needs that right family that will be patient and loving with her while she navigates through those awkward puppy years, and we know that perfect home is out there! Shelby is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. We only adopt in the Greater Los Angeles areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required.
