Fruit Loop is a girl who wants to have fun. She is super friendly, playful and loves to snuggle. She plays well with other dogs and will always make you smile. Adoption fees include: For puppies:  First year's vaccines, including Bordetella, microchip, and deworming.                                                                                                                                                                          Adult dog:     Vaccinations are current, microchip, dewormed and spay/neuter.                                                                                                                                               If you have current pets, we offer a Foster to Adopt Program, in which you have a two week trial period to make sure the animals get along, it's a good fit, and your begining to bond.                         Countryside Animal Rescue is open Tuesday - Friday 11am to 3pm by appointment only.Appointments can be made by calling 707-542-5582 or emailing countrysiderescuesr@gmail.com.  Please ensure that you receive a confirmation of your appointment before arriving to ensure we are properly staffed for your visit.Drop-In (Without an appointment) Satruday from 11am to 3pm.  We are closed Sunday and Monday.                                                                                                                                                Please complete our online applicationat  : https://forms.gle/PGmGoo2ZoBEtU4D18   ##2751211##

Story
Benji is a 5.5-year-old, 80 lb dog who has been a beloved part of our family since he was a puppy (a gift from my mom via a breeder). We are heartbroken to be rehoming him. Benji is so sweet, affectionate, loyal, and goofy, and loves being around his people. He thrives with attention, exercise, and structure. We’re seeking an experienced owner who can provide consistent training and a calm, confident environment. Benji can be anxious and easily spooked, so he must be kept on leash and needs help continuing his training. Benji has had a few incidents, including a dog fight where a person who intervened was bitten (unclear which dog), and an off-leash situation where Benji chased a small dog and knocked over its owner (not out of aggression, but due to not knowing his size/strength). He is strong and needs a capable handler. With four kids/teens in our home and a baby on the way, we can’t give Benji the extra support he deserves. We want a safe, loving home where he can thrive.
