She has a super sweet personality and has been great with everybody. She is an active dog who loves walks and has been grear off leash hiking. We are really not sure of her breed mix she looks a little bit Labradoodle and a little bit wire hair terrier? Very unsure without a DNA test but she is 100% lovebug!!!

Story
Maui is a beautiful, sweet, and silly 100lb Double Doodle (her wisdom panel shows 45% Labrador Retriever, 32% Golden Retriever, 22% Poodle, and 1% Flat-Coated Retriever). She came to SPAR facing life and death, having to undergo her second gastrointestinal surgery. She luckily pulled through the surgery and the weeks of recovery. She had previously had a foreign body removal 6 months prior as a puppy. Maui is looking for a special home. Having already used two (or more) of her spare lives, her body cannot afford another foreign body removal or gastrointestinal surgery. She cannot have access to any toys or anything left out she can chew on (blankets, dog beds, her leash, plastic dog bowls, etc). She sleeps in her kennel at night and is great around other dogs of all sizes. She is learning about cats in her current foster home and might be okay around dog-savvy cats. She would be okay in a home with older kids that understand the safety concerns of leaving things out where Maui can get into them. She has decent leash manners and enjoys going on walks. She is very smart and would love to take additional obedience classes to bond more with her new family. Maui also has already had an incisional gastropexy, so no future risks of GDV, or “bloat”. We go through a multi-step process for our dogs that includes meeting at the fosters home, a home inspection, and reference checks.

Kira came to us from an owner that no longer wanted her. Our goal was to find her a loving home that can give her what we can't. She is extremely shy but warms up and is full of affection. She has lots of energy and loves to snuggle. Would do best with older children and dogs around her age (1 year old).

He is a helpful partners when it comes to watering the garden. Aro is good with older kids. He is good on leash and his recall is amazing. Meet Vicky (aka Victra) Vicky is one of those rare puppies who makes you wonder how she got so good at life so quickly. Despite a rough start, she carries zero baggage. Just boundless curiosity, a wagging tail, and an infectious joy for everything the world has to offer. She’s smart and keen to please. Vicky picks things up fast and responds beautifully to positive reinforcement. She’s already crate trained, sleeps through the night, and is completely non-destructive at home. She hasn’t barked at the door once. Yes, really. She’s cool as a cucumber out in the world. Bikes, scooters, horses… they zoom past and she doesn’t even flinch. She shows no signs of reactivity or trauma, and is perfectly happy in the car too. She’s just out here living her best life. She’s a social butterfly. Vicky loves other dogs and absolutely adores people. She wants to play with everyone she meets, and she’ll let you know she’s happy with her signature “whoo whoo”. She’s got things to say and she’s not shy about it. At home, she’s pure joy. She’s cuddly, rolls around on her back for belly rubs, and has this puppy-clumsy charm that’ll melt you instantly. She’s small but full of personality, the perfect little sidekick.
