Story
Meet Max, our sweet 5‑year‑old Labradoodle who is truly one of a kind. He’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest when he’s playing catch or leaning in for a good hug. Max is fully house‑trained, crate‑trained, and has great manners indoors. He knows his basic commands — sit, stay, lay, bed, and off — and he’s wonderful with kids. Max would thrive with a family who has a fenced yard and plenty of time to spend with him. We’re looking to re-home him simply because he’s spending too much time alone, and he deserves a home where he can be part of the daily action. He will come with everything he needs to settle in comfortably: a large crate, two large dog beds, leash, collar, harness, feeding station with bowls, dog food, treats, and his favorite toys. He’s ready to bring joy to a new home that can give him the attention he loves. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion, Max might be the perfect fit.

Story
Leo was purchased from a dog breeder in Pennsylvania. We received him at 14 weeks. He is a black Labradoodle that is 5 years old. He will be 6 in January. He is a chill dog and extremely friendly if you show interest in playing with him. He is great with children and adults and very loveable. He has never been around cats, so I am not sure how he will react. He has been around a few dogs in his first couple years of his life. He also plays with the neighbor's dog whenever she is outside. I am essentially looking for a home that allows Leo to roam freely. He is not a caged dog. Leo loves being with a family member in close proximity when everyone is home. Snippet: he loves to sneak food out the kitchen. Other than that he is a really great dog, low maintenance. You will be pleased to have him as your pet.He has 2 cages that will come with him that we had for him. Located in the Tucker, GA area

Story
Jovi is a sweet, soulful 4 year old, 21 lb Miniature Labradoodle who just wants a person to call his own. He’s a gentle, shy boy at first, more of a “take it slow and let me come to you” kind of guy, but once he feels safe, his loving personality starts to shine. He enjoys being near his person, with a little personal space at first, and builds trust in the most heart melting way, on his own time, with quiet loyalty and soft affection. Jovi does well with other dogs, though he does best with ones who respect his space when he needs it. He walks on a leash but may need a little patience in new places as he gains confidence. He settles nicely in his crate after a few minutes and is learning his house manners. He currently wears a belly band as he continues working on marking behavior (he was JUST neutered); he’s trying, and progress takes time. Jovi would thrive in a calm, understanding home with a fenced in yard (he won't potty on leash right now), a confident dog buddy preferred but not required, and a patient human who is home often. A quieter, adult-only environment is ideal for him. This boy has so much love to give; he just needs someone willing to meet him where he is and watch him blossom. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will form a deep, meaningful bond, Jovi might just be your perfect match. To adopt him, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org His adoption fee is $350, which includes his shots up-to-date, microchipping, neuter, heartworm testing, and dental cleaning.

Story
I've been fostering Cookie because of a family's hardship. She is the sweetest dog I've ever fostered. She gets along with my dogs and although she didn't grow up around cats she's curious but leaves them along when they walk away. She also loves my horse! That surprised me being that she'd never seen a horse before. She's a big curious and happy girl about everything. People? Yes, people are her favorite animals. She's doesn't have any orthopedic problems and loves going outside to relieve herself.

These pups are in Decatur, Georgia too!

Story
Please contact Marta (ultramarta@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Hazel – 2 years old | ~50 lbs Hazel is a resilient, gentle girl who has blossomed after a very difficult start in life. Now safe and thriving, she’s ready for a forever home where she can continue to grow at her own pace and feel deeply secure with her people. Quick facts: 2 years old, ~50 lbs Spayed, microchipped Housebroken & crate trained Up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative Good with dogs (can live with a compatible dog or as an only dog) Good with kids Not good with cats Hazel is medium-energy and enjoys daily walks, backyard play, and then settling in close to her humans. She’s leash-trained, food-motivated, and knows basics like sit, wait, and “get in.” She sleeps quietly through the night in her crate and is generally calm and well-mannered at home. She can be shy with new people and needs a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she’s affectionate, loyal, and happiest just being near you—whether you’re working, relaxing, or watching TV. A fenced yard would be a bonus for her zoomies and ball-chasing, but she can also do well with regular walks and routine activity. Hazel thrives most of all with patient, loving people who let her move at her own pace. To learn more, please contact Marta at ultramarta@gmail.com To ensure the best match for pets and adopters, we ask that you complete an Adoption Application at www.doggieharmony.org (click “Forms”). Once approved, we’ll arrange a home visit with the pet. As a donation-funded rescue, an adoption fee is requested to help cover basic veterinary care.July 2, 2026, 8:47 am

Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Logan has been with Castoff Pet Rescue since April 2019 — over 6 years — without a single application. Not one. And we truly don’t understand why. He may be a big, dark-coated dog who doesn’t stand out in photos, and has waited a long time to be someone’s only (selective with other dogs), but Logan is pure gold. He gives the best kisses, proudly parades his Kong like a trophy, and has the perfect mix of goofy fun and old-soul loyalty. Logan is 8 years old, 55 lbs, fully housetrained and crate-trained, and a graduate of a prison training program. He knows sit, down, heel, place, and leave it — and walks great on leash. Best home for Logan: ✔️ Kids 13+ ✔️ No cats or small animals ✔️ Fenced yard preferred ✔️ Possible female dog (meet required) ✔️ Someone ready to finally choose him Vetted & ready: Neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, on prevention. Questions? castoffalph@gmail.com Apply: www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption Logan has waited long enough. Please help us give him the home he deserves.  To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.July 2, 2026, 8:47 am

Story
Excellent family dogMeet Sadie – Proof That Age Is Just a Number  Sadie may have a little gray on her muzzle, but don’t let that fool you—this 10-year-young, 60-lb girl still has the heart and energy of a pup half her age! She loves to run, play, and be part of the action, making her a wonderful match for an active family. One of Sadie’s greatest talents? Snuggling. When playtime is over, she’s more than happy to curl up next to you and soak up all the love. She’s also a dream house guest: fully house-trained, crate-trained, and trustworthy enough to be left alone uncrated—no destruction, no drama. Sadie adores kids and adults and gets along well with other dogs (though she’d do best without tiny dogs—she’s a little too enthusiastic and might accidentally step on them!). Sadie at a Glance: Age: 10 years Weight: 60 lbs Temperament: Fantastic with kids, adults, and most dogs Training: House-trained, crate-trained, knows basic commands Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate companion who’s past the puppy chaos but still full of life, Sadie could be your perfect match! Questions? Email amy@doggieharmony.org *** To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.doggieharmony.org/forms) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.July 2, 2026, 8:47 am
