Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption. 2 years old possible poodle mix aprox 15lbs. Doodle Bug is a sweet boy! He came in as a stray around Christmas time. We picked him up and got him cleaned up so he could spend the holidays in a foster home. Doodle Bug is a playful guy. Loves his toys! He is great with other small dogs and gets along with the kitty in his foster home. He does have a little crate anxiety that we are working through, and part of that is he can be a little noisy in his crate. At this time, we are recomending him not go to an aptartment/condo or other multi family dwelling. We are also working with him on potty training and he has done well with go potty outside. We are using a belly Band (or male wrap) to help with marking in the house. He is picking up on the potty training quickly. Recently neutered so we think that might help too. We cannot guarentee breed or Hypoallergenic. We can guarentee that he will need to be groomed often as he came to up a tangeled mess and ended up rocking the rescue cut. It will grow back.
