I also get along with other dogs, although I can be selective, so proper intros are a must. Jouri’s Rescue Story Jouri’s mom, Journey, was abandoned on the streets. She was pregnant and struggling to find enough food to keep her going. A kind lady that lives in the area would often bring her food. However, she could not give her a home. She reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help her. They quickly rushed to rescue her and took her to the vet for a complete health checkup. The next day on May 28, 2023, she gave birth to 4 puppies. Jouri and her siblings were able to spend their first month with Journey before she got adopted. Jouri had a thorough medical checkup. TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs. TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals. The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them and some other puppies that are still too young to be released back to the streets. The founder of the rescue organization has over 180 dogs waiting for homes. However, she could not bear to see them going back to the mountain and suffer on the streets. She agreed to take them home and give them a chance in life. Vanna had a thorough medical checkup. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests.
