Dante came to us from a Central Valley rescue. He is an athletic, energetic dog who will thrive with experienced adopters committed to continuing his training.He does well with some dogs, particularly in small, structured play groups. Dante is playful and engaging with both people and other dogs.He enjoys durable chew toys, is highly food-motivated, and knows several commands and tricks. He benefits from daily walks and mental stimulation (lick pads, games, puzzles).Dante has expressive facial features, gets excited by squirrels, and may bark at animals on TV (including dinosaurs or himself!) He can be sensitive to loud noises and has gotten frightened by kites and low-flying airplanes.Even though he's not much of a swimmer, Dante loves the outdoors—whether relaxing in the sun or joining you on a trip. Even with a little gray, he still gets the zoomies and learns new tricks. Derpy, fun, energetic, and a true cuddler.

Take a look inside those big, dreamy eyes - they’re saying, “Yes, human, we should stay here on the couch and watch another episode! And grab me a snack!” Sweet and snuggly, gentle giant Finnegan is 95 pounds. He loves to lounge around, but also enjoys long walks in between his breaks. He's working on his leash manners, and he's always looking for his next snack (he knows he’s tall - so watch your counters!) He’s happiest at meal times, and making good progress towards being house-trained and has had only a few accidents on the way. We’re still learning how he gets along with other dogs, but he has shown he can be as chill with other dogs as he is with humans. He’s done well in his crate while his fosters are out, but in Finnegan’s perfect world he’d just get to snack on the couch with a family to snuggle up to. (AM)

Brighton is a lovable, high-energy 60-pound boy who lives for people and attention. Smart and eager to please, he thrives on human connection and will happily throw himself at your feet for hugs and rubs. He’d do best with an active person or family — he loves to sprint and would make a great running buddy. He is house-trained, learns new tricks quickly and responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement. He is currently working on leash training with his foster and is excited to meet other dogs but remains calm when other dogs are overly loud or excited. Brighton experiences some separation anxiety and can be vocal when left alone in his crate, so someone who is patient and willing to help him build confidence and independence would be best. In her foster home, Zelda has proven to be very social and adaptable. She does well with resident dogs and she absolutely adores affection and being held. She is known for her feisty streak, likely thanks to keeping up with her mischievous foster brother who steals all her toys. She also has an adorable seal like bark that never fails to make people laugh. Zelda will need consistent training, continued socialization, and plenty of exercise and mental enrichment to help her grow into a well-mannered adult.
