Story
Chloe is a sweet chocolate Labrador retriever. I got her a while back. She is about two years and one half years old. She was born in a litter in October I believe the 22nd. She is good with children small children. She is good with other pets. I crate trained her. She knows to go to the bathroom outside, but if she gets scared or nervous, she will pee. Occasionally, she has stomach issues if you’re switching her dog food or if you’re feeding her leftover food. Her leash etiquette needs work. But she is a very sociable dog that loves to be around other people and other animals. She is very kind and sweet and nature and does not bark. She will only bark if there is something alarming around. She is about 70 pounds she has been spayed. She’s up-to-date with her shots, including rabies. And has been micro chipped. Looking to re-house her ASAP. I have one day to find a place for her. looking to rehome her immediately since I am unable to take the dog myself.

Story
Chloe takes a while to warm up, but once she does, she's very loving. She actually really enjoys bath time. She loves being brushed. While she can be energentic outdoors, she's calm and restful indoors. She's known to rest her head on your lap and look up at you expecting a series of head scratches. She know's how to "sit, stay/go, lay down, paw, kiss, go to bed" on command. She doesn't beg for food or linger around while you eat. She's food motivated and probably holds the world record for how fast she can finish dinner. She's not food aggressive. You can pet her while she eats, although I would not recommend having another dog eat next to her, as she can growl as she feels she needs to defend her food from other dogs. She's 7 years young and weighs about 35 pounds. Breed: Formosan Mountain Dog (also known as Taiwanese Mountain Dog) mixed with Lab.

Story
Meet Summer, a sweet, affectionate, and adorable pup ready to brighten your life. With one blue eye and one brown, this unique beauty is as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside. Her cheerful expression makes it seem like she's always smiling—and it's contagious! We think Summer is a mix of Labrador Retriever and Anatolian Shepherd, blending the best traits of both breeds. At just under a year old and around 60 pounds, she's still a young girl with lots of love to give. She’s great with dogs of all sizes, walks politely on leash with just a flat collar, and settles quietly in her crate overnight. She enjoys trips to the regional park, where she happily meets new people and dogs. While she stays on leash, she loves splashing in the water and would likely enjoy swimming if given the chance! In her foster home, Summer is housebroken, quiet, and playful. She enjoys her toys and is especially food-motivated—a big plus for training! She already knows how to sit for a treat and takes it gently every time. Summer was a shelter favorite, and it’s easy to see why. She’s a wonderful dog with so much love to share. All she needs now is a forever family. Could it be yours? If you're interested in adopting Summer, please fill out our application at 1luckydogrescue.org or contact her foster mom, Nancy, at nancymoore016@gmail.com. If reaching out by email, tell us a little about the home you’d offer Summer—we’d love to hear from you!

NAME: WHOOPI GENDER: FEMALE BREED: FORMOSAN MOUNTAIN DOG MIX COLOR: BLACK AGE: 1 YEAR OLD WEIGHT: 32lbs SPAY OR NEUTER: Yes MICROCHIP: Yes If you would like to give WHOOPI by a forever home, please go to www.adoptadoggie.org to fill out an online application with home photos. Whoopi is a sweet and gentle tripod! She is good with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes. Whoopi has been through a rough start in life and is shy with new people at first. However, it doesn’t take her long to warm up. Whoopi has a good temperament and lots of love to give. She is doing well in her foster home and ready for her forever home. Whoopi started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining. She rides well in the car and enjoys trips to the doggie park. Whoopi and her sister, Whoopa, are looking for a loving home together. Whoopi’s Rescue Story Whoopi and Whoopa were abandoned on the streets. Some people were nice to them and brought them food. And some would kick them and chase them around. They were rescued by a volunteer of a TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) rescue group. The rescue has a temporary shelter for the dogs. TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs. TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals. The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them and some other puppies that are still too young to be released back to the streets. The founder of the rescue organization has over 180 dogs waiting for homes. However, she could not bear to see them going back to the mountain and suffer on the streets. She agreed to take them home and give them a chance in life. They had a thorough medical checkup. They had been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on their blood tests.
