Story
Guera is a stunning Shar Pei mix with the softest expression and the most adorable tiny, flopped triangle ears you've ever seen. Those little ears perfectly frame her wrinkly forehead and soulful eyes, giving her a look that's equal parts wise and whimsical. At the shelter, Guera has been friendly with most people she meets. She enjoys companionship and wants to connect - she just prefers that connection on respectful terms. Guera can feel overwhelmed by excessive handling, but when given space and allowed to approach at her own pace, she truly shines. A gentle touch, calm presence, and affection offered when she's ready will help her blossom into a deeply loyal and loving companion. Primary Color: Blonde Weight: 62.2 Age: 3yrs 3mths 4wks

Story
This is a difficult decision for our family, but we are looking for the right home for our senior Labrador mix. We have had him for 3 years, and he is a sweet, affectionate dog who gets along well with children, adults and other dogs. He enjoys snuggling, camping, going on walks and spending time with his people. He adapts well to new environments and is a great dog. His biggest challenge is severe separation anxiety. We have spent years trying to help him through various management techniques. While he made progress with a professional trainer, we have not been able to replicate that success at home. We have come to realize that he is not thriving in our household, and we can't provide the environment he needs. We believe he would be happiest in a home where someone is present most of the time, such as a retiree, work-from-home household or someone who can include him in their daily routine. He is a loving companion who deserves a home where he can feel secure, relaxed, and thrive.

NAME: LOVEY GENDER: FEMALE BREED: FORMOSAN MOUNTAIN DOG MIX COLOR: BLACK & WHITE AGE: 8 MONTHS OLD WEIGHT: 28lbs SPAY OR NEUTER: Yes MICROCHIP: Yes If you would like to give LOVEY a forever home, please go to www.adoptadoggie.org to fill out an online application with home photos. Lovey is a friendly and sweet girl! She is good with people and children. She has a rough start in life. However, it doesn’t hold her back. She is smart, loving, and very mature for her young age. Lovey is now in a foster home with other dogs and loves them all. She is doing well in her foster home and ready for a forever home. Lovey started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate trained and doing well on her house training. She rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands. Lovey and her sister, Love, are looking for a loving home together. Lovey’s Rescue Story Lovey and Love were rescued from an overcrowded government shelter. They were so sweet to the volunteers. The shelter’s environment was horrible. They were kept in cages and never left out. Months went by and no one was interested in them. A kind international rescue organization got a rescue message asking to help some of the dogs in the shelter that are running out of time. The founder has over 160 dogs waiting for homes and didn’t have space for another dog. However, she knew it was their last chance to be rescued again. The rescue took home 5 dogs and promised to find them forever loving homes. Lovey and Love had a thorough medical checkup. They had been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on their blood tests. They had all 3 puppy vaccinations and get regular checkups. Please give Lovey and Love a loving home where they will never be left unwanted again. Cam is a friendly and playful boy! He loves everyone he meets and good with dogs of all sizes. Cam has a rough start in life. However, it doesn’t stop him from loving and trusting humans. He is doing well in his foster home and ready for a forever home. Cam started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. He is crate-trained and doing well on his house training. Cam loves his trips to the doggie park and absolutely enjoys hiking in the woods. Cam is a wonderful dog and will make a good family dog. Cam and his brother, Camp, love each other. They can be adopted together or separately. Cam’s Rescue Story Cam and Camp were abandoned in a camping ground. They must have been starving for quite some time, they went up to people begging for food. They were rescued by a kind dog lover who went camping with her family. They were so sweet with them and followed them around begging for food. The next morning, they were still staying next to their tent. They immediately reached out to an international rescue organization. The founder of the rescue has over 180 dogs waiting for homes. However, she could not bear to see them starving on the streets. She agreed to take them in and give them a chance in life. They had a thorough medical checkup. They had been neutered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on their blood tests. NAME: IZZY GENDER: FEMALE BREED: MIX COLOR: BLACK AGE: 6 MONTHS OLD WEIGHT: 22lbs SPAY OR NEUTER: Yes MICROCHIP: Yes If you would like to give IZZY a forever home, please go to www.adoptadoggie.org to fill out an online application with home photos. Izzy is a happy and healthy girl! She is good with people and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. Izzy has a rough start in life. However, it doesn’t stop her from loving and trusting humans. She can be a little shy at first. However, there is not a mean bone in her. It doesn’t take her long to warm up. Izzy is doing well in her foster home and ready for a forever home. Izzy started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her house training. We are looking for a committed family to give Izzy a loving home and continue with her socialization. Izzy’s Rescue Story Izzy and Izza were abandoned in the mountains. They must have been starving for quite some time. They were so hungry and were so happy when a kind volunteer gave them some food. They quickly gave in and followed her to her car. TNR rescue groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs. TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals. The volunteer caring for them loves them and didn’t want to see them back on the streets. The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them and some other puppies that are still too young to be released back to the streets. The founder of the rescue organization has over 160 dogs waiting for homes. She really does not have space for another dog. However, she could not bear to see them suffering on the streets. She agreed to take them home and give them a chance in life. Izzy & Izza had a thorough medical checkup. They had been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on their blood tests.
