Story
Introducing Nova! Let’s keep Nova out of the shelter! 🙏🏼 Nova is a spayed female black lab approximately four years old and about 66lbs. She is house trained. She is also crate trained but she sleeps in my room at night. She's only in the crate during the day when I'm at work. She is extremely affectionate, almost to a fault. She is an expert at guilt tripping, she'll stare at you or drop her head in your lap for some loving. Nova loves people, other dogs and walks. She loves playing with my GSD. I have also been working with Nova on basic commands and hand signals. I am hoping to find Nova a loving home as soon as possible. If you are interested in meeting her or just have some questions, please feel free to contact me.

Story
We adopted Mocha from the shelter 6 months ago because of her playfulness and positivity. This is still true, but unfortunately due to her size, our 2 year old has developed a fear of her. We would love to keep her, but dont want our son to be afraid in the house when Mocha is around. We want to find a loving home for her. She loves to be with people, and cuddle. She doesnt fetch really but loves to chase and play with cat toys. She is very playful and has a lot of energy. She loves to sit on your lap (even though shes a dog). She likes to chew on things, so chew toys or pig ears are important. She barks. We dont mind because she is protective and thats nice. Most importantly, she does listen to a stern NO. And is mildly food motivated if you find the right treats. And she likes her crate, voluntarily goes in when you tell her to Go Home. We will provide all of the stuff we have, no charge. Crate, food, leashes, toys, etc.

Story
NAME: CRISS GENDER: MALE BREED: FORMOSAN MOUNTAIN DOG MIX COLOR: CHOCOLATE AGE: 9 MONTHS OLD WEIGHT: 32lbs SPAY OR NEUTER: Yes MICROCHIP: Yes If you would like to give CRISS by a forever home, please go to www.adoptadoggie.org to fill out an online application with home photos. Criss is a sweet and playful boy! He is friendly with people and is good with other dogs. He is doing well in his foster home and ready for a forever home. Criss started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. He is crate-trained and doing well on his housetraining. He rides well in the car and can wait patiently while his foster mom runs errands. Criss is a wonderful boy and will make a good family dog. Criss’s Rescue Story Criss’s mom, Christmas, was owned by irresponsible and mean owners. His mom was not spayed and had a litter of six puppies. Poor Christmas didn’t even get food regularly. The founder of an international rescue organization got a rescue message to save Christmas and her puppies. When the founder arrived at the site, she saw how poorly they were treated. There was no food and water. Christmas was all skin and bone. She quickly persuaded her owners to surrender Christmas and all her puppies to her. The owner insisted that they would like to keep one of the puppies to guard their property. The rescue insisted that they should not ever have dogs since they don’t care for them. Christmas and her puppies were rushed to the vet for a thorough medical checkup. Criss has been neutered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on his blood tests. Please give Criss a loving home he very much deserves. NAME: WUGO GENDER: FEMALE BREED: FORMOSAN MOUNTAIN DOG MIX COLOR: BLACK AGE: 5 YEARS OLD WEIGHT: 46lbs SPAY OR NEUTER: Yes MICROCHIP: Yes If you would like to give WUGO by a forever home, please go to www.adoptadoggie.org to fill out an online application with home photos. Wugo is a sweet and mellow girl! She loves everyone she meets and is good with other dogs. She is doing well in her foster home and ready for her forever home. She rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands. Wugo is a wonderful dog and will make a good family dog. Wugo’s Rescue Story Wugo was rescued from an overcrowded government shelter. She didn’t stand a chance for adoption as she is a black dog and they are often misunderstood and overlooked. Poor girl was so sweet with the staffs at the shelter. By chance, a dog rescuer was at the shelter and extremely heartbroken seeing so many animals suffering. She has over 160 dogs waiting for homes and didn’t have space for another dog. However, Wugo was following her around and it was just so hard for her to leave her. Wugo was in the same cell with 2 other dogs. The rescuer decided to take them all home and give them a chance in life. Wugo had a thorough medical checkup. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests. Please give Wugo a loving home where she will never be left behind again. Jeani is a sweet and gentle girl! She loves her humans and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. Jeani has a rough start in life and can be a little shy at first. However, it doesn’t take her long to warm up. Once she settles, she is loving and trusting. She is doing well in her foster home and ready for her forever home. Jeani started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She has been introduced to cats and a rabbit. Jeani has been patient with them. Jeani is a wonderful dog and will make a good family dog. Jeani’s Rescue Story Jeani’s mom, Jeana, was abandoned in a remote mountain. She just had puppies and struggled to find enough food to keep her going. The founder of a rescue organization lives nearby and found them looking for food going up and down the mountain slope.
