Story
Big love comes in big packages—and Fred (affectionately known as Freddy) is proof! This happy, wiggly goofball is as loving and loyal as they come. He’s estimated to be around 4–5 years old, neutered, and fully crate, potty, and dog-door trained. Freddy is a smart boy who already knows commands like sit, shake, and down—and we’re pretty sure there are more tricks he hasn’t revealed yet! Freddy enjoys romping and coexisting with other dogs, but his heart truly belongs to his people. He’s a family-loving pup who does wonderfully with both adults and kids. Whether it’s a good game of fetch or getting cozy for couch-potato time (a lifestyle he proudly endorses), Freddy is happy as long as he’s by your side. He’s gentle while taking treats, loves belly rubs, and gives the best “wrap-around” hugs. Freddy is a quiet guy who rarely barks and sleeps soundly in his crate all night. He has not yet been tested with cats. While he walks fairly okay overall, he could use a refresher on leash manners to eliminate those little pulls and tugs. If you’re interested in adopting Freddy or have any questions , please email his foster mom, Ash, at asukumar86@gmail.com.

Story
Hi, I’m Church! But honestly… they should’ve named me Olaf or Puddles, because I melt the second you rub my soft jowls 🫠💖. I’m about 5 years young, around 80 lbs of pure love, and a big ol’ cuddlebug who just wants to be told I'm a good boy (because I am, obviously). I'm neutered, microchipped, and fully vaxxed — ready to find my forever home! I’m a water-loving goofball who thinks baby pools, buckets, and even fish tanks are the best thing since peanut butter. I enjoy gentle walks (I don’t pull!) and then I’m all about couch cuddles, bed snuggles, or rearranging the dog beds like I’m on HGTV. Got a cat? Cool! I take hints from bossy kitties and I’m learning my manners. I love my people deeply and will follow you to the ends of the earth… or at least to the bathroom. I'm a lover, not a fighter — though I do have a big bark that'll make the Amazon guy hesitate. I get along great with the ladies (dogs, that is), but need slow intros with new humans and pups. Quick movements make me flinch, so teens and up are best for me. I know sit and come, and I’m learning stay — but most of all, I’m learning how to trust and be someone's heart dog 🐾. If you're looking for a mellow, mushy, slightly mischievous snuggle buddy, I’m your guy. 💕

NAME: DEN GENDER: MALE BREED: FORMOSAN MOUNTAIN DOG MIX COLOR: BLACK AGE: 5 YEARS OLD WEIGHT: 52lbs SPAY OR NEUTER: Yes MICROCHIP: Yes If you would like to give DEN by a forever home, please go to www.adoptadoggie.org to fill out an online application with home photos. Den is a calm and sweet boy! He is good with everyone he meets and does well with other dogs. He is doing well in his foster home and ready for his forever home. Den started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. He is crate-trained and doing well on his housetraining. He rides well in the car and can wait patiently while his foster mom runs errands. Den is a wonderful dog and will make a good family dog. Den’s Rescue Story Den was rescued from a high kill shelter. He was well loved by the volunteers at the shelter. Luckily, his rescuer was visiting the shelter and heard his story. His rescuer is the founder of an international rescue organization. When she met Den at his cell, Den went up to her and wanted to leave his cell so badly. She took him out for a walk and he didn’t want to go back in. Her home is full of rescued dogs still waiting for homes. She really didn’t have space for another dog. However, she couldn’t just leave him and suffer in the shelter. She mustered up the courage and brought him home. Den had a thorough medical checkup. He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on his blood tests. Please give Den a loving home where he will never be left behind again. NAME: WHOOPI GENDER: FEMALE BREED: FORMOSAN MOUNTAIN DOG MIX COLOR: BLACK AGE: 1 YEAR OLD WEIGHT: 32lbs SPAY OR NEUTER: Yes MICROCHIP: Yes If you would like to give WHOOPI by a forever home, please go to www.adoptadoggie.org to fill out an online application with home photos. Whoopi is a sweet and gentle tripod! She is good with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes. Whoopi has been through a rough start in life and is shy with new people at first. However, it doesn’t take her long to warm up. Whoopi has a good temperament and lots of love to give. She is doing well in her foster home and ready for her forever home. Whoopi started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining. She rides well in the car and enjoys trips to the doggie park. Whoopi and her sister, Whoopa, are looking for a loving home together. Whoopi’s Rescue Story Whoopi and Whoopa were abandoned on the streets. Some people were nice to them and brought them food. And some would kick them and chase them around. They were rescued by a volunteer of a TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) rescue group. The rescue has a temporary shelter for the dogs. TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs. TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals. The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them and some other puppies that are still too young to be released back to the streets. The founder of the rescue organization has over 180 dogs waiting for homes. However, she could not bear to see them going back to the mountain and suffer on the streets. She agreed to take them home and give them a chance in life. They had a thorough medical checkup. They had been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on their blood tests.
