What we know: Transferred from Second Chance Dog Rescue in Snyder, TX, Mama Merry and her 9 puppies, 3 male / 5 female. Mom and pups surrendered to the shelter and have been there ever since. From the foster: Mama Merry is the sweetest girl with so much love to give. She loves to crawl right up into your lap, gently resting her head against you while she soaks up all the affection. Merry is fully potty trained, does great on walks, and gets along well with other dogs. At night, she’s content sleeping on the couch or a cozy dog bed. Story
In need of a good home for an amazing dog. Lilly is a 9 month old Labrottie. She weighs approximately 75 lbs. Lilly is very smart and well mannered. Fully house trained from the second day home. Lilly has high drive. She is very good with other dogs and kids. I think it would be best if she had another dog to play with. We are only seeking a new home because my 3 year old daughter developed allergies and is allergic to Lilly. Full vet records. Must be a good home and experienced dog owners.

Story
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Eclipse finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our  adoption application  so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) .   Eclipse | 1.5-Year-Old Lab Mix | Zoomies, Snuggles & Star Power Meet Eclipse, a stunning 45-pound Lab mix with a sleek black coat, bright white accents, and plenty of sparkle to match her name. Equal parts cuddlebug and adventurer, this girl is ready to bring both sunshine and moonlight into your life. Eclipse is as affectionate as they come—she loves to curl up beside you, rest her head in your lap, and will gently nudge your hand when she’s ready for more pets (which is often). She’s sweet, social, and still learning a few boundaries—like that she’s not actually a lapdog! With energy to spare, Eclipse is happiest when she’s on the move. Long walks? Yes, please. Backyard zoomies? Absolutely. Weekend hikes, brewery patios, or dog sports? She’s all in. She walks nicely on leash, but her prey drive means squirrels and bunnies are hard to resist. Eclipse gets along well with other dogs and is playful—sometimes a little too playful—with cats. She knows her basics (“sit,” “come,” “off,” and “leave it”) but is still working on focusing when she’s excited. Think: enthusiastic wiggle worm in motion. At night, Eclipse loves to sleep in bed with her person, and she does fine in a crate during the day—especially if she has a dog buddy nearby. When left uncrated and alone, she may tap into her inner redecorator, so structure and patience will be key as she continues to build confidence. Her ideal home would have a fenced yard, an energetic dog sibling, and active, dog-savvy humans who understand her need for exercise, companionship, and gentle guidance. A child-free home is best for this exuberant girl. With the right match, Eclipse will shine bright—full of joy, heart, and endless love.   If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member! Story
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Miss Ma'am finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) .   Miss Ma’am | 4-year-old Chihuahua Mix | Queen of cuddles Miss Ma’am is a sweet, affectionate Chihuahua mix with a heart as big as her love for snuggles. At 30 pounds, she’s a low-energy companion who enjoys short walks, lounging on her favorite chair, and showering her humans with endless kisses (sometimes with a playful nip as she expresses her love). She is almost fully house-trained and thrives with gentle guidance and structure. Miss Ma’am shares a remarkable story with her daughters, Lady and Missy—they were rescued together from the woods of rural North Carolina after being abandoned. She adores people of all ages and genders, though she would do best in a home with children 10 and older due to her exuberant affection. Miss Ma’am has a confident personality with other dogs—she just needs a moment to say hello and set boundaries. Once introductions are made, she’s happy to be friends and enjoys the company of her furry companions. She ignores cats entirely. Her favorite spot in the house is her cherished chair, and she’s happiest when allowed to claim it as her throne—after all, a girl who survived who knows how long in the woods deserves the comfort and luxury of her own cozy spot. Miss Ma’am thrives on love, attention, and tasty treats, and she isn’t shy about showing her devotion. While she isn’t yet familiar with commands, Miss Ma’am is eager to learn and responds beautifully to positive reinforcement. She’s happiest in a home that allows her to snuggle freely on furniture, where her affection is welcomed, and where she can enjoy the comfort she so richly deserves. Miss Ma’am is loyal, loving, and ready to devote herself to a family that will return her affection in kind. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will fill your home with love, Miss Ma’am is ready to be your queen of cuddles.     If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) .   Ricky #3 | 9-Month-Old Lab Mix | Velcro Puppy With a Big Heart Ricky is a 9-month-old black lab mix weighing about 35 pounds, and he’s equal parts playful puppy and professional cuddler. He’s almost fully house trained and does a great job letting you know when he needs to go out by standing or pacing near the door. Ricky is crate trained, happily goes in at bedtime (especially when he sees his treat bag come out), and sleeps through the night. He can be left crated for 6–8 hours and has proven himself to be a total angel while home alone. Ricky has a medium energy level and does well with a couple of short walks, playtime, or fetch sessions each day before settling in to relax or nap. He loves toys—especially stuffed ones he can enthusiastically de-stuff—and enjoys busy treats that keep his brain occupied. On leash, he’s doing fairly well, though he may pull a bit and can be vocal when he sees other dogs, people, scooters, or skateboards. This is reactivity rather than aggression, and he has shown positive interactions with dogs both on and off leash. He’s friendly with cats and very interested in playing, though he can be a bit overenthusiastic at times and benefits from feline boundary-setting. Ricky hasn’t met kids yet, but with proper guidance and kids who understand boundaries, he could do well. He knows “sit,” is motivated by food and affection, and responds well to structure and consistency. Like many puppies his age, he’s still working on things like jumping, play biting, and respecting fences (he has jumped a 4-foot fence). If Ricky had his way, he’d be as close to you as physically possible at all times—resting his head on you, flopping his whole body onto your lap, or standing with his front paws on you just to be near. His ideal home is one where he’s allowed on the furniture, gets plenty of play and attention, and has humans who are excited to keep working with him as he grows into the amazing dog he’s already well on his way to becoming.   If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth.
