Story
Nala is a very loving senior dog. She is a whippet/lab mix. She has slowed down in her older age and mostly spends her time snuggling, but still loves to catch her ball in the yard and go for walks. We love her to death but are having our second baby soon and simply do not have the time or the space to give her the attention she deserves. Nala’s personality is very affectionate. She is also a big chewer so she loves chew toys and trying to get peanut butter out of her Kong. She loves walks. Even a short walk or some playtime in the yard is her favorite activity. We don’t own any cats, so unsure how she would act around cats. She does well with other dogs if they are calm. If they constantly get up in her face she will get defensive, but when we have dropped her off with a dog sitter we are always told that she got along with the others dogs in the house. She knows basic commands well and does well with our toddler. She is overall healthy and is on a normal diet.

Duke is a super friendly goofy dog who is literally always happy. He came to us due to a coworker and able to take care of him. We are looking to place him with a loving home with a family and a backyard or farm where he can roam around. He does well if there is a doggie door so he can go out to go to the bathroom. He is still a puppy so some training is definitely needed. He walks well on a leash great with kids, babies, dogs and cats.

Ready for a most loyal, sweet boy, that would love to be your home body companion?  Armoni is a wonderful dog, but does need a safe consistent routine of a quieter home. He's been working hard on his self confidence of new situations, people and dogs with trainers regularly. He is currently with a trainer and taking medication to help attain the goal of being the best companion he can be. Once he is comfortable with you, he will stick by your side. He's very playful with dog companions and loves a lengthy daily walk. House trained, and can be crated while you are gone but prefers to find a couch to sprawl out upon. His ideal home situation is a larger yard, preferable a country setting, quiet home,  fur buddy as a playful companion, no young children. Armoni is patiently waiting for his right family to come find him! Currently with a trainer in Durango. A foster to adopt on a 30 day trial is available.  ##1765111##

Shermy is the definition of joyful energy wrapped in a handsome, short-haired package. This confident, goofy boy bounds through life with his big floppy ears bouncing with every step, it’s impossible not to smile when he’s around! Him and his sister were found in a roadside ditch near Gallup, NM. However, that event did not faze him one bit, Shermy is ready for all the adventures (and all the naps) you can offer. Shermy gets along with absolutely every dog he meets and loves to play, chase, tumble, and explore with his furry friends. After the fun, he’s just as happy to settle in for snuggles — he’s a cuddler at heart and gives the kind of warmth that makes you feel right at home. With a charming personality, and playful spirit, Shermy is sure to bring laughter and love into any home. He is currently working on potty training and catching on quickly. He is crate trained. He is very treat motivated, so training will be a breeze. He mouths and chews, so families with children will need to supervise interactions and be committed to helping her learn appropriate behaviors.
