Story
Max is a lovable golden-eyed boy with very expressive ears. He is some kind of medium size dog mix, and it is our best guess that he might have some beagle, chihuahua and maybe some lab in there. He is about 30-40 pounds. He is very loyal and dedicated and loves to cuddle. He easily gets along with all other dogs. He is about 10 years old and my parents rescued him when he was around 1+ after he had lived what must have been a stressful life. He is a bit like velcro as he loves to always be next to his people. He is slightly hard of hearing but especially responds to clapping hands and to his name. He only has a few front teeth left but does not have any trouble with food. He is a happy guy who just loves to be near you. We wish we could keep him but already have 2 other pups and are unable to take on a 3rd. Please give Max the loving home and attention he deserves during his golden years. He was a wonderful companion to my parents, who both passed within the past year.

Story
Hi, this sweet boy needs a new home. Unfortunately my teenage son got him while he was at his dad’s thinking it was a good idea but it wasn’t. He spends most of his days in his kennel and it kills me, I work long shifts and I can’t keep him. He’s a puppy he requires attention and exercise. Overall he’s a great dog, gets along with other dogs and kids. He’s a super super sweet and protective. He deserves better.

Story
Meet Bernie! She’s a playful Lab/Retriever mix, almost 3 years old and weighing in at 48 pounds. Bernie loves going on walks, to run around in the backyard, play with her toys, and she gets along great with other dogs outside and at the dog park but needs to be the only dog in the house. She’s spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations. Bernie sleeps in a large crate, enjoys belly rubs, and is a people-loving pup who thrives on attention and playtime with other dogs. If you’re looking for an active, friendly companion, Bernie would make a wonderful addition to your family!

Story
Meet Haus, a mellow and easygoing 9-year-old Lab/Boxer mix who’s looking for a loving home where he can truly shine. Haus is a well-behaved gentleman who thrives in a home environment and gets along well with cats. He’s a laid-back companion who enjoys the comfort of home and is not destructive. While Haus is a joy indoors, he can be reactive on a leash, so he will need an owner who is diligent and attentive during walks. Despite this, he remains an ideal dog in every other aspect. Haus is well-trained, easygoing, and will bring a calm and steady presence to any home where he is the only dog. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who is content with a relaxed lifestyle and can offer all his affection to a single-dog household, Haus is ready to find his forever family.

Story
Meet Spider, a lovable 6-year-old Lab/American Bulldog mix who’s ready to find his forever home. Originally from Tucson, AZ, Spider was turned into a shelter after a farm incident involving one of his owner's pigs. Despite his past, Spider is a well-behaved and affectionate dog who gets along great with other dogs and people. Spider is smart and loving, with a warm personality that will brighten any home. He does take one pill per day (fluoxetine, similar to Prozac) to manage kennel stress, but with the stability and care of a forever home, he should be able to be weaned off this medication. If you’re looking for a gentle and loyal companion who will thrive in a stable environment, Spider is eager to be your new best friend.
