Hi, I’m trying to urgently but responsibly rehome a 7-year-old 60 pound spayed black lab mix named Bonnie in the Denver area due to unrelated life circumstances. Bonnie is originally from the Atlanta Humane Society. She’s friendly with dogs, great with children, and has up to date vaccine and vet records. She rarely barks, but does communicate with soft howling. She enjoys tough chewer toys and stuffed animals, but will rip and de-stuff any non-rugged toys. Loves walks but also very lazy when it is cold outside. Questions for potential adopters, in addition to a meet and greet prior to commitment: 1. Do you currently have pets? 2. What is your living situation (house/apartment/yard)? 3. Have you owned dogs before?

Billy Jean loves dog parks, car rides, snuggling with her human. She can get excited when she sees another dog and pulls on her leash, but her tail is wagging and she just wants to play! She takes food very gently when offered. She’s been sharing a bed with her owner’s cat for years. She is a big girl, close to 90 pounds, but she still loves her toys and likes to carry them around and show them off. She needs her forever home 🐾🦴🐾🦴
