Story
Brooks is a big, lovable guy full of personality who loves every human he meets. To meet this pup is to love him! Everyone sings his praises~ In addition to his handsome good looks, Brooks is playful, happy and enjoys a good round of fetch—if there’s a ball, he’s ready to chase it! He’s also a big fan of walks, runs, and rides in the car or golf cart. He enjoys lounging on his cozy cot when it’s time to relax and loves his toys just as much as he loves people. He’s crate trained and potty trained (has done great being left out of his kennel for 3–4 hours with no accidents). He knows commands like “sit” and “lay down” and is working on polite greetings (learning not to jump up when he’s excited). With other dogs, Brooks is respectful when another dog tells him “no” and has done especially well with calmer-natured companions. Brooks recently spent some time with 3 small Dachshunds and was very kind with them! Like most dogs, Brooks likes to meet other dogs slow and easy without a lot of exuberrance from the other dog inititially. After he gets to know them then he enjoys rough housing and playing. Brooks adores kids, but may accidentally knock them over with his enthusiasm. If you're looking for a joyful, active, affectionate dog who will be your ride-or-die best friend, Brooks is your guy. He’s got the energy to keep up on adventures and the heart to settle down with you at the end of the day. He is very eager to please you which makes training productive and rewarding for both you and Brooks! Brooks is ready to meet you—and probably bring you a toy! Brooks ishouse, crate and leash trained. Currently he weighs around 70 lbs and the best estimate on his age is 2 to 3 years. Brooks can scale a 6ft fence so he must be supervised and on leash in the yard. He has jumped the fence at his current foster but does not go anywhere. This devoted pup has great recall with his current foster person and is allowed offleash. We think his propensity to escape likely improve once he learns where home is but me must be closely monitored. Or he responds great to an electronic collar while he is in the fence. He is nearly perfect in every other way!  PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO SEE MORE PICS AND VIDEOS https://www.circle2rescue.com/available-pets/ If you would like to adopt, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2414296##

Story
Sadie is a gentle sweetheart who has already overcome so much and is now ready for a forever family who will help her continue blossoming. She may be shy when meeting new people, but with patience, kindness, and consistency, she warms up beautifully — and once she feels safe, her playful, snuggly side shines. Sadie’s New Mexico foster, who cared for her and her siblings for five months, shared just how far this sweet girl has come. When Sadie first arrived, she was absolutely terrified of the world around her. She spent her early days watching from afar, unsure who she could trust. But slowly, she began to open her heart. After a week, she took a treat from her foster’s hand. Two weeks later, she accepted soft pets on her head. And now? She happily welcomes full-body pets and recently even curled up beside her foster on the couch, gently leaning in for comfort and connection. Sadie wants to trust — you can see her trying so hard to be brave. Today, Sadie enjoys laying beside her person, soaking up affection, gently nibbling fingers to show love, and playing with toys or other friendly dogs. She’s incredibly smart and very aware of her surroundings — she even braved her vet visit with quiet courage. Sadie is also growing more confident in her training. She’s food-motivated and making steady progress with crate training, potty training, and leash walking. Sudden loud noises can startle her on walks, but she improves a little more each day as she learns that the world isn’t so scary. Sadie will thrive in a calm, patient home with someone who understands shy dogs and celebrates the small victories. She would love a confident dog sibling who can help guide her, offer reassurance, and show her the ropes. Her start to life wasn’t harmful — she and her siblings were simply born to a stray mama who tried her best — but because of that, Sadie needs gentle encouragement and time to feel secure. If you’re looking for a tender, soulful companion to nurture, support, and watch bloom, Sadie may be your perfect match. She truly wants to love and be loved — she’s just waiting for the person who sees not her fears, but her beautiful potential. ##2601639##

Story
Buh-lok-ay, Blake, boyo, Blakey…and that’s just the start! So far I’m just the cutest, silliest little munchkin. I love to play chase and wrestle with other dogs my size and even like to taunt my big foster sister though I chicken out when she gets too crazy. I go from 100 to 0 and then back to 100, getting zoomies through the house and then cuddling up in your arms and then attacking my toy with a death shake. I am such a well behaved puppy with little bursts of mischievous. I haven’t had a single accident in the house, I’ll even indicate at the back door when I need to take care of business. I’m very food motivated which also makes me easy to train. I already know sit and am very good at recall and other little commands. I sleep all through the night in my crate without a peep especially if my family follows a nightly routine! I can be on the timid side but am intensely loyal and trusting of my inner circle. I love a car ride but hate cars driving by on my walks. I hope I find a forever family to love me until I’m old and gray! ##2602315##

Story
This big sweet boy rescued from New Mexico has come so far in just one week! He appears to be potty trained as he has not had one accident in the house. He sleeps in his crate quietly all night - usually 10ish to 7. We use a treat to get him to go in the crate during the day, but he settles down quickly and does not try to get out.  He has already learned sit and has been doing really well on loose leash training. He does appear to have a high prey drive, so probably wouldn’t be good with cats. He is friendly with every person he meets and great with kids. He does jump up when he gets excited, although we have made great progress with that this week. He has been wonderful with our female golden retriever and has respected her boundaries. He would benefit from another animal that likes to play. He likes to chew and loves his antler bone. He has stolen a few shoes, but fortunately, we’ve been able to retrieve them unscathed! He’s really just a big goofball with a heart of gold and will make a great family dog.  ##2601494##

Story
Atlas is sweet puppy who loves to cuddle. He’s pretty shy when he’s in the great outdoors and doesn’t quite understand how to walk on a leash yet, but when he’s at home he’s running the show, playing with his toys and trying to capture the attention (and pets) of anyone who walks through the door with his goofy personality. He does well with other dogs, but at this point is a little too shy to let loose with them and sometimes has a little bit of trouble sharing his toys. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and is making great progress learning how to sit. He’s a gangly boy who’s sure to win the heart of anyone who meets him and will do great in a quiet environment where he gets lots of love and attention. ##2601507##

Story
If we were to describe Sundrop in one word, it would be lovely. She is as playful as Golden Retrievers can be. She is family and kid-friendly, truly such a good dog. But despite all these traits, no one wanted to adopt Sundrop at the high-kill shelter, so she was placed on the euthanasia list. When we saw her, we fell in love and knew that someone out there would also fall in love with her. If you're ready to be swooned and play games of fetch with Sundrop, apply to be her forever family below! Ideally, a quiet home would be best for her and she’s low to medium energy. Very affectionate once she warms up to you! Fearful of strangers but is getting much better.

Story
I rescued Leo from a Denver shelter when he was 8 weeks old, and he’s been the best companion. He’s 13 now and needs someone with a more flexible schedule, as he requires more frequent bathroom breaks than my 8+ hour shifts allow. Leo is about 80 lbs — stocky, sweet, and goofy. He knows sit, stay, shake, lay down, and come. He loves toys, plays independently, and has a funny quirk of wanting his meals “remixed” before he’ll eat. He’s lived around many dogs but isn’t comfortable with big dogs; small dogs he mostly ignores. He has a brother he’s been with since 8 weeks old, but they’ve been separated for boarding during travel with no issues. He’d do best as the only dog in a calm home. This is a hard decision, and I just want him to have the care and attention he deserves in his senior years.
