Dexter was a 2 year old when we rescued him and is now 10 years. He is a healthy, loving, kind pet who is excellent with adults, children, and other pets. We will miss him dearly but unfortunately we are relocating and cannot take him along. He will bring a lot of comfort and joy to a loving family. He enjoys evening walks, lots of scratches, being outside and his cozy bed. He does not have any bad habits such as jumping up on you or being on furniture. He responds very well to voice commands.

Story
Meet Luna!Luna is a 3-year-old sweetheart looking for her perfect forever home. I adopted her nearly two years ago, and she’s been a loving, loyal companion. At home, Luna is calm, quiet, and fully crate trained. She enjoys having her own cozy space and settles in easily. She absolutely loves other dogs off leash and thrives at doggy daycare or the dog park, where she can run and play.Luna would do best with an active owner who can give her regular exercise and continue her training. She’s an enthusiastic walker and improving on leash with a gentle leader, but can get a bit overstimulated in busy areas—so a quieter neighborhood or less crowded spaces would be ideal. She may be cautious at first with new people, but warms up into a very affectionate companion. No cats, please.Luna is playful, sweet, and ready to find her perfect match!

Story
Rudy is a sweet and 5-year-old pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for lounging. He’s happiest curled up in a cozy spot, whether that’s under a bed, on a soft blanket.Rudy is a true snuggle bug who loves to lean in for pets and soak up all the affection once he feels safe and comfortable.Rudy thrives in a calm, predictable environment. He would do best in an adult-only home without other pets, where he can relax and feel secure. Rudy is reactive toward other dogs and can become overwhelmed in stimulating environments, so he’ll need a patient, experienced owner who understands reactivity and can help him feel safe! Since welcoming a new baby into our home, Rudy has had a difficult time adjusting to the added noise and overall stimulation. With this increased stress, there was a recent bite incident. While this was an isolated situation, it made it clear that Rudy is not comfortable in a home with young children and needs a quieter, low-stimulation environment to succeed ❤

Meet Rubble! Rubble might be a little shy at first, but this adorable boy is slowly but surely coming out of his shell, and every small step forward is a reminder of just how resilient and wonderful he truly is. Rubble is the kind of dog who will steal your heart the moment he finally decides to trust you. He's learning that the world is a safe place, and all he needs is a patient, loving family to show him just how good life can be. A little about Rubble:  A social butterfly in the making — Rubble would likely thrive in a home with another calm, friendly dog to help him build his confidence and feel at ease.  Loves a good walk — Exploring the neighborhood is one of his favourite things, and it's a great way to bond with him and help him feel secure.  Crate friendly — His crate is his safe haven, a place where he can decompress and recharge at his own pace. Given the time, space, and love he deserves, this boy is going to blossom into the happiest, most devoted companion. If you're ready to be part of his journey, Rubble is ready to be part of yours. ##2689243##

Story
Hi, I'm Tessa! I’m a young lady with a heart full of love, just waiting for the right person to help me feel safe and brave. I am incredibly sweet, affectionate, and calm. I may have had a rough start to life and ended up at the shelter, but am quickly learning that life is not quite so scary. Once I know I am safe, I love to cuddle up on the couch or grab a toy and play. I am very excited to meet other dogs and will calmly approach them with a gentle tail wag. I am currently oblivious to the fact that there is a cat in the house but am sure we would be best friends! I am doing great with my kennel training; it is a safe place for me and a great toy storage area! I will sleep around 6 hours a night before quietly asking to go out for some fresh air and a potty break. I am looking for a patient household while I figure out life and willing to help me build my confidence. Will you be the one to show me that the world is a wonderful place? ##2731084##
