He recently underwent two major surgeries and is looking for a home that will continue to meet his unique medical needs. Although he has some physical limitations, he does not let this bring him down and is enjoying his life to the fullest!A few of Harley’s favorite things include snuggling with his humans, going for short walks, zoomies in small spaces, and spray cheese! Due to his mobility issues, Harley would do best in a home with minimal stairs and that has carpeting as he sometimes slips on hardwood floors. He would love a home with lots of soft dog beds, as he is unable to jump onto furniture. He does well with new dogs after proper introductions, but should have monitored interactions with other dogs, especially when approached from behind, until he feels more confident. Harley is currently thriving in his foster home and does best with structure and boundaries. He has met cats and would do best in a cat-free home as he is a bit too interested in his feline friends. Harley has met children and would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy teens (16+) who will respect his personal space and not make sudden, loud noises or movements. Harley is fully house and crate trained. Harley enjoys having his crate door open so he can come and go as he pleases. He rotates through his crate and his favorite dog beds when his foster is at work. Harley enjoys going for short walks around the neighborhood and walks well on leash. Harley is looking for a quiet family who will provide him with structure, love, and support so he can live a life of leisure!Note: Harley is part of our Foster to Adopt (FTA) program for prescription medication. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Story
Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Unknown, likely yesGood with kids: YesCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: Working on itThis adorable doggo is Dorothy Oz! Being a cute and cuddly puppy, her days are spent toggling between meals (her absolute favorite!!), playtime (let’s go), and naps (emphasis on the naps).Dorothy is great with other dogs and coming from a big litter, she’s learned how to coexist in a bustling household. She would thrive in a home with another playful pup (or two!) who can match her enthusiasm for wrestling matches. Still impressionable, she would do well in a home with dog-savvy kids and cats. She’s still mastering the art of leash walking (puppy zigzags included), but she’s improving daily and is super food-motivated — a dream for training! Dorothy is currently comfortable being crated for 3–4 hours during the day and is learning quickly how to be the best girl she can be. She’s sweet, smart, and oh-so-cuddly — the kind of pup who makes every day more fun.Dorothy truly believes there is no place like home. Is yours the one? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. Story
Adoptable in: MAGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: YesGood with kids: Yes (13+)Crate trained: Working on itHouse trained: YesAce is an adorable pup who adores snuggling, playing tug of war, and hanging out with his humans! Anyone who meets him falls head over heels for this gentle and silly little goofball. He gets along well with many dogs, especially older and calmer ones who can match his mellow energy level, and he has a blast at daycare with his furry friends. Ace is already house-trained and is currently working on crate training - he's a total champ at overnight crating and is actively making progress with daytime crating.A perfect day for Ace starts with a nice walk (where he loves to say hello to new people with a friendly howl!) and then he spends the rest of the day chilling on the couch with his chew toys and his family. He's highly motivated by food and will do just about anything for a tasty treat, so further training should be a piece of cake. He also thrives on routine, so having a schedule will help him settle into his new environment.Ace is the ultimate companion animal - he feels much more confident and comfortable when he's around his humans so he has some separation anxiety, which is slowly improving in his foster home! Because of this, he would do best with a family that is home more often than not. Additionally, he tends to be vocal when anxious (and even when he's happy and excited - this chatty boy loves to say hello!). Ace is best suited for a single-family home.Ace is a fantastic dog who is eagerly waiting to meet his forever family! Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. He is a medium energy pup who enjoys a romp in the snow with his doggy friends just as much as he enjoys a nap. Mango is fostered in a multi-dog home and absolutely loves playing with his doggy friends. He is a big puppy who is still learning that sometimes his doggy friends want a break. When his friends are done playing he happily entertains himself with toys or plays with his humans. Mango has never met a stranger and excitedly walks up to new friends to get all the pets and affection. He loves his daily parades around the neighborhood and walks wonderfully on leash. Though he has not met cats he would likely coexist just fine. Mango is still a big puppy so would do best with children who are 13+, and can give him boundaries. He is a smart pup who is fully house and crate trained. Mango sleeps soundly in his crate overnight and throughout the work day. He is eager to please and has already learned the basics like “sit”, “down” and “leave it”. He’s moved on to more fun tricks and is learning to “weave” and “spin”. Mango will thrive in any home that is able to provide him with structure so he can be his best self.Looking for an adventure buddy?
