Story
* My adoption fee will be waived Feb 13-15 * Meet Angel! Her favorite things are sniffy walks, snuggling and getting pets, and settling in alongside her person with a good chew toy. She has proven to be a great office buddy! Angel is a smart, sweet, sensitive girl looking for a patient, understanding family who will use positive reinforcement to build her confidence. Angel prefers the company of human friends to canine friends and wants to be your only dog, and she`ll be most comfortable in a calm, adult-only home. Angel adores her people and prefers to stick close, so she`ll need a little help feeling secure when left alone. The good news? Youll always have a devoted, loving shadow by your side!

Story
* My adoption fee will be waived Feb 13-15 * Tyson is a very good 4 year old boy who came to us with a wound of unknown origin, so the poor kid has been in quarantine for 4 months! But now he is free! And ready to find his people. This good looking dog came from an overcrowded home environment with many dogs and we have limited history on him. What we have learned in these 4 months is that he is verrrrry smart, loves to train, and also loves to chill out and relax. He loves his friends, is a great walking buddy with beautiful manners and enjoys social walks with his dog friends. And he just melts with butt scratches. Because of his atypical background, Tyson will likely need a patient family who can support him as he decompresses into his new home. Tyson deserves a wonderful forever home. Does he sound like your forever dog?

Story
* My adoption fee will be waived Feb 13-15 * Spooky is a low-key, older girl who enjoys lounging around and talking leisurely strolls, both with her people as well as alongside other calm canine friends. She can initially be a bit reserved, but once she warms up she`ll happily sit with you and soak up all the pets and love you can give! Spooky is looking for a patient family who`s will give her the time she needs to decompress from her stay in the shelter and acclimate to her new home. While at the shelter, she has enjoyed spending time around other mellow dogs, so we think she could do well with a canine sibling that is comfortable with a more calm friend. She`d also do well as you&#8217:re one-and-only dog so she can soak up all the attention! While Spooky doesn`t have any history living with kids or cats, we think with proper introductions those environments could be considered. Adopting an older dog and providing them with a quiet, loving, comfy spot to land is so rewarding. Let`s get Spooky home ASAP, we know her people are out there!

Story
This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally. **Please read Charlotte's entire profile, which includes a link to the adoption application at the end. Thank you!** Meet Charlotte - an 9 month old Black Lab mix gal who weighs 40 pounds at the time of this posting on 6/4/25. This poor girl was living in bushes at a state park with her brother. She is very friendly, energetic and playful. She is a little ball of fire ready to go! She would be great with a person/family that does a lot of hiking or is a runner - as she loves a lot of exercise. She would make a great companion for any outdoor activities. She is good with other dogs but does prefer to the be the one to structure the play. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body - just prefers to be the teacher than the student with other pups :). We haven't seen her around kids in rescue but she is so friendly we are guessing she will be just fine. She is a great gal with a wonderful personality who is ready and deserving of a family to love her forever! All dogs are up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. All dogs require professional training to become the best family member they can be. To adopt or learn more about Charlotte, you must fill out an adoption application.
