He is doing great in his current home where he is fostered with two dogs. His current foster shares that “Swayze’s a world-class cuddler, great playmate, and lots of fun for my resident dog. He’s been taking well to city life and should do well in nearly any home that's dedicated to continuing his training!”As he is nearing adulthood and working on his manners, his ideal home needs a patient owner who’s ready to provide him with structure and boundaries as he adjusts to his new home. Swayze gets along well with dogs and plays great with dogs, especially a mate closer to his size and continues to learn taking cues from other dogs. Swayze’s easy-going personality would likely do well with dog-savvy children, since he doesn’t realize his size at times. He’s an active, medium-energy pup who loves to get his energy out with playtime or walks and then happily settle nearby with a bone. He’s up to join you on your adventures whether it be running errands or exploring new spots in the city.Swayze is smart, knowing commands like 'sit', 'down', 'touch', 'paw'. He is mostly crate trained and fully house trained. He is crated occasionally during the day and sleeps in there overnight. Swayze would make a great WFH buddy or doggy daycare candidate. He has zero accidents in the house. Swayze’s leash skills are improving, but needs some extra structure when walking, as he can get distracted by all the world has to offer.
