Eumy — The Beach Cave Baby Meet Eumy, a 2-month-old, 4.5-lb little lovebug whose life almost ended before it even had the chance to begin. Eumy and his 11 siblings were discovered tucked deep among the rocks at a beach in Puerto Rico, trapped inside a little beach cave as the tide was coming in. With the water rising, rescuers climbed down into the rocks and pulled the puppies out one by one before they could be washed away. You would never know Eumy had such a scary beginning. This tiny boy is SO cuddly, playful, sweet, and ridiculously loving. He loves everyone and everything — people, other dogs, playtime, snuggles — and is happiest when he can curl up close to someone and soak up all the affection he can get. At just 4.5 lbs now, Eumy is still a tiny baby. Our vet’s best guess is that he’ll be around 35 lbs or under when fully grown, but with a mystery rescue puppy, adult size is never a guarantee! Eumy is in a NYC foster and can be adopted in various surrounding cities and towns (including Boston)!

Louis — The Big, Playful Lovebug Meet Louis, a 1-year-old, 55-lb boy who is playful, fun, and full of personality. Louis had a scary start to life. As a puppy, he was found on the streets after being attacked by another dog. That experience understandably stuck with him, and while Louis can learn to trust other dogs, he needs time, patience, and slow introductions before he feels safe around them. He does, however, do well with cats! With people, Louis is a sweet, playful guy who loves having fun and being part of the action. He’s also potty trained and past the tiny puppy stage, making him a great companion for someone looking for a young dog without starting completely from scratch. Louis didn’t get the carefree puppyhood he deserved, but he hasn’t let that take away his love for life. He’s looking for a family who will understand his past, give him the security he needs, and let this big, goofy boy finally enjoy being someone’s beloved dog. Louis is currently in Puerto Rico and will be transported to the states for his forever home or a foster offer.

Simba was found on a mountain road in Puerto Rico with his mom and siblings, including his sister Annie. Instead of growing up somewhere safe, this little family was left trying to survive together on the side of the road. Thankfully, they were found and brought to safety. Simba is everything you could want in a puppy — happy, affectionate, playful, and full of love. He loves playing with his siblings and other dogs, but he’s just as happy soaking up attention from his humans. He’s an easy little guy to fall in love with. Simba is in a foster home in Connecticut and is available for adoption throughout the surrounding Northeast. Transport to surrounding cities and states can be arranged for the right home. Simba's mountain-road days are officially behind him. Now this sweet little boy is ready for toys, cuddles, adventures, and a family to grow up with.

She loves being around people and other dogs and is the kind of happy little puppy who makes everyone around her smile. She’s ready to trade life on the side of a mountain for toys, cuddles, adventures, and a family of her very own. Gigi is a in Connecticut, but she would love for an adoptive family to find her first! Due to his mobility issues, Harley would do best in a home with minimal stairs and that has carpeting as he sometimes slips on hardwood floors. He would love a home with lots of soft dog beds, as he is unable to jump onto furniture. He does well with new dogs after proper introductions, but should have monitored interactions with other dogs, especially when approached from behind, until he feels more confident. Harley is currently thriving in his foster home and does best with structure and boundaries. He has met cats and would do best in a cat-free home as he is a bit too interested in his feline friends. Harley has met children and would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy teens (16+) who will respect his personal space and not make sudden, loud noises or movements. Harley is fully house and crate trained. Harley enjoys having his crate door open so he can come and go as he pleases. He rotates through his crate and his favorite dog beds when his foster is at work. Harley enjoys going for short walks around the neighborhood and walks well on leash. Harley is looking for a quiet family who will provide him with structure, love, and support so he can live a life of leisure!*Harley is part of our Foster to Adopt (FTA) program.*Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted.
