Adoptable in: MAGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: NoGood with kids: Older children only (16+)Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesHarley Memphis is a sweet, loyal, sensitive soul who is looking for a patient and loving family to live out his golden years. He recently underwent two major surgeries and is looking for a home that will continue to meet his unique medical needs. Although he has some physical limitations, he does not let this bring him down and is enjoying his life to the fullest!A few of Harley’s favorite things include snuggling with his humans, going for short walks, zoomies in small spaces, and spray cheese! Due to his mobility issues, Harley would do best in a home with minimal stairs and that has carpeting as he sometimes slips on hardwood floors. He would love a home with lots of soft dog beds, as he is unable to jump onto furniture. He does well with new dogs after proper introductions, but should have monitored interactions with other dogs, especially when approached from behind, until he feels more confident. Harley is currently thriving in his foster home and does best with structure and boundaries. He has met cats and would do best in a cat-free home as he is a bit too interested in his feline friends. Harley has met children and would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy teens (16+) who will respect his personal space and not make sudden, loud noises or movements. Harley is fully house and crate trained. Harley enjoys having his crate door open so he can come and go as he pleases. He rotates through his crate and his favorite dog beds when his foster is at work. Harley enjoys going for short walks around the neighborhood and walks well on leash. Harley is looking for a quiet family who will provide him with structure, love, and support so he can live a life of leisure!Note: Harley is part of our Foster to Adopt (FTA) program for prescription medication. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. **EVENT DEPOSIT PENDING**Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Yes, dog savvy catsGood with kids: YesCrate trained: MostlyHouse trained: Yes Meet Courte! This social butterfly is the perfect combination of playful and cuddly. He has a medium energy level, ready to join you on any car ride or hike, followed by a solid cuddle session on the sofa.  He is ready to learn and eager to please, and will fit right in to any family ready for an adventure buddy. This friendly pup is good with other dogs, and enjoys running and playing with them. He loves children and is sure to be a young one's best friend.  Courte would likely do ok in a home with very dog savvy cats as he wants to play with them, but does back off when they let him know they want space.  Courte's favorite activity is taking walks and enjoying a good chew toy. Courte is fully house trained.  He will settles well in the crate when his people leave the house, but would rather relax by his people's side during the day.  He walks happily on a leash and loves to meet everyone he encounters, but is also easily redirectable when necessary.  No doubt, with training and consistency, he will master that skill in no time. This loving boy can't wait to find his perfect family. Could it be yours? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This dog may have other interested adopters in line. This playful guy enjoys playing with his friends, and would make a great hiking buddy. Sanders is looking for a home where he can continue to build his confidence and become an amazing lifelong companion.Sanders can be a little shy when meeting new people and hopes that his new family will support him in approaching new folks on his own terms. He tends to warm up quickly, especially if there are other dogs around. Sanders thrives in the company of his doggy friends and would be a great sibling to a resident dog or candidate for doggy daycare. He has met cats and largely ignored them. Sanders hasn’t met kids yet, but he would likely do well with dog-savvy kids with proper introductions. This smart guy loves enrichment toys and will have a great time with puzzle feeders or other mental stimulation!Sanders is crated consistently throughout the day and overnight. He may whine for a few minutes but he settles in quickly. Sanders has been working hard on his house training and only has occasional accidents when his schedule is disrupted. He looks forward to perfecting his puppy manners in his new home. Sanders walks well on his leash and loves going for walks.Sanders has a heart of gold that he can’t wait to give to his new family. Story
Adoptable in: MAGood with dogs: Yes, with proper introsGood with cats: YesGood with kids: Yes (13+)Crate trained: Working on itHouse trained: YesAce is an adorable pup who adores snuggling, playing tug of war, and hanging out with his humans! Anyone who meets him falls head over heels for this gentle and silly little goofball. He gets along well with many dogs, especially older and calmer ones who can match his mellow energy level, and he has a blast at daycare with his furry friends. Ace is already house-trained and is currently working on crate training - he's a total champ at overnight crating and is actively making progress with daytime crating.A perfect day for Ace starts with a nice walk (where he loves to say hello to new people with a friendly howl!) and then he spends the rest of the day chilling on the couch with his chew toys and his family. He's highly motivated by food and will do just about anything for a tasty treat, so further training should be a piece of cake. He also thrives on routine, so having a schedule will help him settle into his new environment.Ace is the ultimate companion animal - he feels much more confident and comfortable when he's around his humans so he has some separation anxiety, which is slowly improving in his foster home! Because of this, he would do best with a family that is home more often than not. Additionally, he tends to be vocal when anxious (and even when he's happy and excited - this chatty boy loves to say hello!). Ace is best suited for a single-family home.Ace is a fantastic dog who is eagerly waiting to meet his forever family! Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. He is a medium energy guy who enjoys a nice walk followed by a nap on the couch. The word stranger isn’t in his vocabulary as he makes friends with everyone he meets. Buddy is happiest when running and stretching his legs with his dog friends or chewing on his favorite toys. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves wrestling and romping in the outdoors. He has not been around cats, but with his gentle disposition he would most likely coexist with a feline sibling. Buddy adores children and would be a wonderful addition to any family. He is a smart boy who is fully crate and house trained. Buddy sleeps soundly in his crate overnight and can be crated during the work day with a tasty treat. He enjoys going for walks around the city and would make a wonderful hiking companion. Buddy is looking for a loving family to call his own who will continue teaching him new tricks and give him lots of head and chin scratches. Is Buddy your newest co-pilot? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. This girl is the perfect mix of playful and snuggles.  She would make a great hiking or buddy followed by some quiet rest time. She would do well in an active home with or without a canine sibling.  Veronica loves to meet and play with other dogs, offering them submissive greetings. She might be slow approaching new people, but once she’s had a chance to sniff them, she warms up quickly. Veronica has lived with older, dog-savvy kids and loved playing with them! She has also lived peacefully with cats, though she is sometimes curious about them and would do best with dog-savvy felines. Veronica’s favorite thing is playing fetch but if your arm is tired, no worries! She knows how to toss it up in the air and catch it on her own!  She is able to keep herself entertained and is also an absolute cuddle bug. This goodest girl is crated consistently during the day and overnight. She likes to have a cozy blanket with her, and may whine for a minute after the door closes, but then she settles right down. Veronica is also fully house trained. She enjoys going on leash walks and exploring her surroundings. If your looking for a lovable and affectionate pup who is equal parts play and snuggles, then look no further than Veronica! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted.
