Story
Meet Kassie — tall, sleek, sweet, and the best mix of play and cuddles. Kassie is a 1 year, 8 month old, ~60 lb leggy lady who looks like a sighthound–Pointer–maybe-Greyhound remix, built for speed and powered by curiosity. She’s had a rough start, bouncing in and out of the shelter, but once she landed in foster care it became clear: this girl didn’t need a label — she needed structure, patience, and someone to believe in her. And wow, has she been rising to the occasion.Kassie is:💖 Very sweet and affectionate🏠 Learning the ropes of house life 💤 A crate superstar who tucks herself in at bedtime like a polite little goblin🎓 Already knows Sit and Come and responds to a whistle like a champ❄️ Shockingly obsessed with snow despite her short coat🐕 A big fan of fence-line zoomies with the neighbor dogShe’s still learning leash manners (she had opinions at first), but with the help of a Halti collar, walks are getting calmer and more focused every day. Kassie is smart, eager, and very capable — she just needs someone committed to continuing her training and helping her feel secure. Now, full disclosure from Kassie’s management team: she has a strong prey drive. Cats who calmly mind their business are usually fine, but cats who run? Kassie’s brain says, “CHASE MODE: ACTIVATED.” She has made progress with guidance and supervision, but she may do best in a cat-savvy, experienced home or one without small animals.Kassie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested, so she’s ready to start the next (and best) chapter of her life. Her adoption fee is usually $285. However, to celebrate Paw Patrol Dayton's 14th Anniversary... her adoption fee is half off during the month of April! If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, athletic girl who’s learning how to be the very best version of herself — Kassie might just be your perfect match. 💕🐾 All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Devo is a total love bug who lives for affection, cuddles, and being close to his people. If you are looking for a loyal companion who will happily relax by your side, Devo is your guy. He also has a playful side. Devo loves running in the yard, going on walks, and chasing squirrels. He is happiest when he gets a good mix of activity and cozy downtime at home. Devo is house trained and knows basic commands like sit and lay down. He is up to date on all medical care, fully vaccinated, neutered, and in great health. Devo thrives in a calm, predictable environment. He can be a little nervous in new situations, but once he settles in, he is incredibly loving and easygoing. Because of this, he would do best as the only pet in the home where he can soak up all the attention. Devo does show some resource guarding behaviors around other dogs, particularly with food, so a single-pet household will help him feel most comfortable and set him up for success.

Story
Meet Logan. A high energy Lab Pit mix who loves to play but also cuddle once play time is over.Logan will turn 2 in September. This is a very hard decision for me. But one that I have to make for his happiness.Logan needs more attention than I can currently give him, and I am looking for someone who may be a better fit and have more time to spend with him.He needs a bigger space, and someone who is patient and can continue his training. He knows situation and down, and is house trained. With work right now, the lifestyle isn't a right fit for as active as he needs to be. He is up to date on shots, cytopoint, bravecto (flea and tick), and also neutered.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Seraphina has been through more than any dog should. She came to us after being confiscated by our humane agent, along with other dogs, who had been left abandoned in their crates. Because of this, the shelter environment has been especially overwhelming for her, and she’s still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. At first, Seraphina may be unsure and hesitant with new people—and that’s okay. She’s looking for a patient, understanding person or family who will give her the time and space she needs to feel secure. Building trust with Seraphina won’t happen overnight, but for someone willing to go at her pace, the reward is incredibly special. Once she begins to feel comfortable, Seraphina’s personality starts to shine. She has a playful, silly side that comes out with those she trusts, and it’s clear there’s a sweet, loving dog just waiting to bloom. She just needs someone to show her that people can be gentle, safe, and full of love. Seraphina is searching for a calm, compassionate home that will help her build confidence and finally experience the life she deserves. With patience and kindness, she has so much love to give.

Story
Meet Blitz! I was found abandoned in the woods by a wonderful group of Cub Scouts who took me in when I was scared and hungry. Now that I'm healthy and full of love, I'm ready to find my forever home!  I’m an affectionate, cuddly pup who adores spending time with my humans—especially if it means lap time and belly rubs! I love playing with all kinds of toys, especially tennis balls and stuffed animals. I’m good with other dogs and enjoy lounging in the yard on sunny days.  I know my basic commands like sit, stay, and come, and I’m potty trained. While I might be a bit shy around new people, once I get to know you, I’ll be your most loyal companion. My foster mom says I’m a “Heinz 57” dog, meaning I’m a little bit of everything!  I’m up-to-date on my shots and neutered, ready to join a loving family.
