Story
Destiny is a 7 year old black Lab mix. She is super sweet and cuddly but is cautious of strangers and will take a little bit of time to warm up. She loves frisbees and tug of war, but she's afraid of thunder storms and will want to sleep in bed with you. She is crate trained, but isn't good on a leash prefers an open yard to play in with her sister. Destiny is hit or miss with potty breaks. Unfortunately this is something we were never fully able to stay on top of. She will go outside if you take her periodically but will not ask to go. We love our fur baby but unfortunately don't have the time and resources to give her what she needs to have a happy life. We don't have a fenced yard. Both myself and my husband work full time and have two small kids that take up our time. We do have two small children so I can advise she does decently with preschool age but doesn't like babies. Isn't agressive just not interested. If given her space and not forced to interact she's fine.

Looking to rehome our 1 year old (Will be 2 years old in October '23) Male charcoal Lab. He is a sweet boy with lots of energy, very affectionate and great with children. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, flea, tick and heartworm prevention. He is house trained, crate trained and listens well to basic commands. We currently have an electric fence, so he's not used to being leashed much. Would ideally prefer an adopter with a decent sized fenced in yard.

Story
Are you looking for a whole lot of sweetness and a whole lot of fun?! Look no fuur-ther than 6 month old baby Bronx!! Bronx is ALL puppy right now. He loves to play, play, play…all day! He loves all of his toys (chews, bones, etc) and sometimes forgets that not everything is a toy. We believe Bronx to be a Labrador Retriever mixed with who knows what (possibly pit bull) and anticipate him to be a big boy when grown- I mean, look at those paws!! Bronx is potty trained as long as he doesn't drink any water after 6:30pm and is good in his crate. He truly is as sweet as can be and loves EVERYONE he meets. Bronx is doing great around other dogs and just needs to work on some boundaries. Interested in cats, but is easily put in his place. He loves to play so much he forgets others may not share his enthusiasm. Bronx is still a puppy and will need some continued training but is extremely trainable. He may knock of little kids so a home with kids over 5 would probably be best. Bronx is patiently waiting for a home that is looking for a mixture of play and cuddles!!You may apply to adopt Bronx at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. His adoption fee is $260 and he is vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped, and neutered. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Robin is a very sweet dog and is great with people, especially kids. She has lived with a cat since we got her and they get along just fine. She is half husky and half lab. I am working 2 jobs to keep up with inflation, and not home enough. I’m looking for a loving family to adopt family.

Needs experienced adopter,
Story
My previous housemate adopted Ted, and when my housemate moved out they left Ted with me. I've been taking care of him for about a year but with work I find I do not have as much time to spend with him as he deserves. He's got a lot of energy, he's super playful and loving! He also gets along with cats and other pets. Ted needs a family who is able to give a lot of attention and love because he's got a lot to give too! He's already house broken as well. We've not gotten to the point of trust where we can leave him alone at home yet, because we haven't had much time to fully train him. Though he does respond to his name and understands "No!" And "Sit!". He's very good with other dogs. He's naturally friendly and playful, with no aggressive bone in his furry body. Please consider giving this crazy love machine the home he deserves!

(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Skyy is a 4-month-old female Labrador/Pyrenees/Shepherd mix puppy up for adoption. Skyy is one of 6 puppies surrendered to us through our Pawsitive Planned Parenthood program (where we fix the mother dog for free and she stays with her family.)Skyy came from a family where she was raised with children and did very well with them. Skyy's mother is an 85 lb Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix and dad was a Labrador retriever. These puppies are likely to grow up to be very large. At 4 months old Titos already weighs 30 lbs. So plan for 60-90 lbs full grown. Skyy will need help with her house training and taught what she can chew on and what she shouldn't. These are large, gentle, sweet puppies that will make great family pets. .Skyy has received 2 DAPP vaccines, Bordetello vaccine, dewormer, flea & tick treated, and will be microchipped and scheduled for her spay upon adoption. Grey Goose's adoption fee is $300 and you can apply online for him at https://us06b.sheltermanager.com/service?account=sr2794&method=online_form_html&formid=21&fbclid=IwAR3hNyuSFkXMbF6uq8LRIn8NLpn9_gqNVC3evKy14R_PEMruIyvmRii8yvE Preapproved? Please call us at 937-393-2110 or message us on Facebook to let us know who you are interested in meeting. Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 mos and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption.
