Story
Hi I’m Padfoot! I’m an 8 month to a year lab mix and I’m looking for a home! I’m good with other dogs and got rescued with another dog named Prongs! I like cats, they’re pretty interesting but I’m learning to listen to my foster mom when she tells me to stop sniffing them. I love people! Strangers aren’t a thing to me. I love to play with toys and I do best with teething toys or hard chews because anything plush is just too fun to destroy! I’m learning to be in a home again as I’ve been a stray for a while but my foster mom thinks I had a home at one point because I know some commands, I’m doing very well at potty training, and I only pull a little when I’m on a leash. I do sleep in the crate when my foster family leaves and goes to bed, but I like to express my concerns and opinions for a little bit before I settle down. I would love to have another dog in the home as I’ve got a lot of energy. If you like walks or maybe even hiking I would be your guy! I love that stuff! I’m the best guy and I will love you forever! If you’re looking for a new pup to add to your family, please consider me!  Every PAWS dog is loved, vetted, and ready for a fresh start September 16, 2026, 7:56 am

Story
Lily is a sweet, loving, and active dog who brings a lot of joy and personality with her. I am looking for a new home for her because I have to move to different state for work, and the place I am going will not be suitable for her. Lily loves to play, especially tug of war, and she also enjoys cuddling up close when she feels safe and comfortable. She can be a little scared of rain and thunder, so she does best with someone who can be patient and comforting during storms and loud noises. She is affectionate, a little needy in the sweetest way, and loves being close to her person. I am hoping to find her a caring, stable home where she will get plenty of love, attention, and playtime.

Story
🚨 URGENT: Sweet senior Angelo desperately needs a loving forever or foster home TODAY! This gentle old man has already overcome so much. A county warden once tased him leaving the prongs in his body when he was unable to capture him. Angelo went on to be humanely trapped, and has blossomed in home care. When he first arrived, he didn’t even know how to play. Now he happily chases balls, snuggles his stuffies, and loves a good game of tug! With the help of a trainer, he’s learned: “no,” “sit,” “wait,” “stay,” “come,” and “down” (with a hand signal).Angelo is fully house-trained, can be left home alone without crating, and loves nothing more than soaking up the sun and napping in a yard. He’s approximately 10 years old, has had a full dental, and is completely vetted and ready for couch snuggles. He lived peacefully with two cat friends until a recent disagreement (no one was hurt), so he now immediately needs a new home without cats. He does best as the one and only dog in a calm, quiet home with a secure fenced yard — he gets anxious on public walks and certain men in hats make him anxious. If you have a peaceful home with a yard, Angelo is waiting for you. 🏡Please help us find this sweet old soul the safe, loving retirement home he deserves! Story
🐻 Meet Mr. Bear — 87 Pounds of Goofy, Lovable Sweetness!Mr. Bear had a pretty rough start in life. He was found wandering a road in southern Ohio when he was only about 4 months old—alone, covered in mange and blood, and a pretty sorry-looking little guy.You would never know it looking at him now. 😊Today, Mr. Bear is a big, happy, goofy boy who absolutely LOVES his people. He’s an 87-pound Golden Retriever mix (with Pit Bull, Boxer and German Shepherd in the mix), and his favorite place to be is wherever you are.Working from home? He’ll rest his big head on your lap. Going to bed? He’d be happy to stretch out at the end of it. Want to play fetch? Clear your schedule. 😂 This boy could chase a ball all day.Sadly, through absolutely no fault of his own, Mr. Bear needs a new family. His owner is moving to the UK and is unable to take him, so our goal is to find Bear a home where he can be just as loved for the rest of his life.🐾 A little about Mr. Bear:Neutered and fully vaccinatedSweet, affectionate and eager to pleaseLOVES fetchProfessional snugglerKnows sit and waitEven waits patiently for the magic “OK!” before eating his dinnerGreat for baths—and apparently enjoys putting on his bathrobe afterward ❤️A little clumsy and doesn't always realize he's 87 pounds, so older kids would be bestNeeds a fenced yard because his curious brain sometimes takes him off on his own adventuresMr. Bear does have allergies to grass, dust mites and chicken. They are currently well managed with a chicken-free diet, daily medication and medicated baths every couple of weeks. His family has already done the hard work of figuring out what works for him, and his complete medical history and routine will go with him.And then there are the socks. 🧦Mr. Bear thinks they're irresistible, so his future family will need to keep the laundry secured and redirect him to his appropriate chew toys. Consider this your official warning that Bear and an unattended laundry basket should not be left to negotiate amongst themselves. 😂What Bear really needs isn't complicated: a fenced yard, someone willing to continue his allergy care, plenty of balls to chase, and people who want a big dog who loves BIG.He's already known what it's like to be alone once in his life. We'd really love for his next move to be the one that gives him his forever. ❤️🐻Interested in adopting Mr. Bear?Apply at ricopetrecovery.org

It breaks my heart to do this… but I need to rehome my beautiful Franklin. I’m moving and simply cannot provide the care and stability that he needs. He’s a lover, has a magical inner child, and is the best snuggler around. Let me know if you need a glorious new best friend ❤️.

Story
Bailey is an absolute sweetheart! She was found as a stray out in the country which means somebody probably left her on the side of the road. She was positive for heartworm but has finished her treatment!! She loves being around people and she loves to play especially tug of rope. She is a talker and very treat motivated. She knows sit and working with her on paw and lay down. Now because of her age she still has the puppy tendencies but she loves going on walks but someone who is patient with her will be able to teach her that chasing cars is not okay. She follows my kids around the yard and plays with them and she loves the snuggles. She is incredibly smart and would make a great family dog. She is an all-around good girl who is just looking for a family to love me. If you think you could be that family, Located in North Texas, Transport fee included
