Story
Hi, my name is Maggie, and I'm 5 years old and weigh 55 lbs. It's difficult to tell in my photos, but I have a beautiful, shiny black coat with auburn highlights. I am a little shy at first, but once I get to know and trust someone, I will be the most loyal and loving dog ever. I have wonderful house manners, so my foster family leaves me with run of the house when they leave. I love toys, in fact I'm a little addicted to them! I don't chew or destroy them, I just love to carry them around, kind of like a security blanket. I get along well with the other dog in my foster home, but I am a little scared and nervous around new dogs. Truth be told, I would love to be an only dog so I can get all the attention and cuddles. I also prefer a quiet, low activity home, and I am not a good candidate for apartment life. I'm really a low maintenance dog. Just let me hang out with my people, and I'm good! Please submit your application to meet me, and an adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
"Hi! My name is Cammy! I'm 9 months old, and most people think I am a mix between Yellow Lab and Greyhound. I'm a goofy, gangly, playful puppy. I love to play, and chasing a ball is my favorite game. Foster dad throws it as far as he can, and I go racing after it, super fast like a Greyhound. Then I bring it back, over and over again, like a Lab Retriever. I also have a cuddly, affectionate side and love to snuggle with my people. I love other dogs, especially if they are up for play wrestling or a game of chase. I may be a little too enthusiastic for older, more laid back dogs. If someone is home most of the time, I would like that best, but I've been learning to stay in my crate for a few hours when my foster people are away. I go for walks or runs every day, so I will be a great walking or running partner. I can't wait to meet you and become a member of your family. And just in case you missed it: I am a puppy that loves to play and snuggle!" Please submit your application, and an adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Aster is almost 10 months old! We think she's a black Lab/Terrier mix, but the breed mix is 100% guesswork on our part. Aster has THE BEST ears ever. She's a smart, sweet girl that has normal puppy energy. She would be so excited to find her forever home with another playful dog her size so they can have long wrestling sessions and wear each other out! She loves to take walks or hikes and explore all the things along the trail. She does well on leash and wants to use a harness on her walks because it's a great fashion accessory (and helps with learning leash manners). She absolutely loves going to the lake. She doesn't swim, but she splashes around paw-deep in the water like it's the coolest thing ever! Aster's most favorite thing is chasing flying insects, and she has plenty to choose from with all the Cicadas and June Bugs flying around this year. She likes to play fetch and tug with durable toys; the soft stuffed ones only last about 5 minutes! Aster is a little shy when you first meet her but if you toss down a good treat you can be her BFF within a few short minutes. She warms up to women quickly, but will take a little longer with men. Small children make her very nervous, so no kids under the age of 10. She is housebroken and has learned some basic commands - she sits like a champ, absolutely LOVES to chase balls and brings them right back to you and drops them at your feet. She is a smart cookie and will be a fun and loyal companion for the right adopter. The first step to meeting Aster is to submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Zaxby, male, neutered, DOB 07/23/2020. He is a kind, happy soul as a big foodie. He is very well trained (Potty trained, Crate trained, Leash trained, basic trained, etc.). He can stay well in his crate for a day if you need to go out. He is good at leash walking and listening to the commands on the loose. He is going well with other dogs unless if they show aggressiveness to him first. He is such a good listener and a couch buddy. We don’t recommend him with babies or toddlers, but he will be an awesome buddy with teens and adults. As a Lab/German shepherd mix, he has flappy ears, so you need to clean his ears daily to prevent any allergy/infection.

Story
Peaches is very outgoing and sweet as can be! She even plays gently with smaller creatures like cats and rabbits. She is potty trained and has caught on quickly to simple commands like Sit and Stay. She was born 6/29/2019We pulled Kiwi & Peaches from the shelter as itty bitty pups, and soon found out that both of them had CHV (Canine Herpesvirus). Most puppies die at 2 weeks from this, however these two were fighters and besides runny noses here and there, are doing really well. They can have it the rest of their lifes and will have what appears to be a cold from time to time. Because there is just not a lot documented on situations like this we have no idea what their future health could be. They should never be around puppies or attend public places or events.Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided.
