Labrador Retriever American Pit Bull Terrier

Roanoke, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
My son adopted her from a rescue when she was 2-3 months old and trained her. She is now about 10 months old. My son is moving into an apartment that doesn't allow pets. I can't keep Hazel because she's too rough with our older, smaller dog. She is a very sweet and smart girl and very energetic. Loves playing ball but at times won't let go and thinks that you want to play tug of war. She likes going on walks, but you need to hold the leash tight or distract her when a car drives by.

Story
THE FOLLOWING PET IS FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT!!! Details belowAdoption application: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57167/genericMeet Hoot!Hoot is a fun-loving, active young pup who thrives on outdoor time, play sessions, and having a canine buddy to romp around with. He absolutely loves running and playing outside, would do best in a home with a playful companion, and settles in nicely at night — often choosing to sleep right beside the bed. Hoot has been accident-free in his foster home, is crate trained, and has even earned free roam privileges when his foster leaves because he’s such a good boy.He walks well on a leash and is just beginning his basic obedience training. Hoot does well with other dogs and would love a playful canine friend, and he is okay with cats, though he can be curious. He can be a little shy and skittish if approached too quickly and may be slightly stand-offish while building trust, so he’ll need a patient adopter who understands that confidence comes with time and consistency. A secure fenced yard and continued leash or harness use in public will help him feel safe as he continues gaining confidence.Hoot was found dumped outside a Dollar General before coming into rescue, but he’s now learning what safety, stability, and love truly feel like — and he’s ready to find a forever family willing to help him keep growing.Hoot was born in December 2024 and is currently fostered in Fort Worth, Texas, where he is patiently waiting to meet the family who will give him the forever home he deserves.OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR PENNSYLVANIA BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE.
