Dog’s Name: Orville Location: St. Joseph, IL Date of Birth: 06/28/2017 Gender: Male Breed: Mastiff Mix Color: Brindle Dog's Weight: 118 Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs Cats?:  All Cats Kids?: Have not tested with kids Training: Leash trained: Walks loose on leash Crate/Kennel:  Goes into crate/kennel on command Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car:  Rides Well in car Meet Orville Orville is the definition of calm and sweet. Even in just a few short days in foster care, he’s shown himself to be an easygoing, laid-back companion who simply enjoys being near his people. He’ll quietly follow you from room to room, soaking up your presence without demanding attention — just happy to be part of the pack. On walks, Orville is a dream He doesn’t pull on the leash and takes everything in at a relaxed pace. He also did wonderfully at the vet’s office for his exam, showing off his polite manners and gentle nature. When left alone in a room, he doesn’t bark or fuss — he’s content and confident, which speaks volumes about his temperament. Orville would be a great match for a first-time giant breed owner. His mellow personality and good manners make him an easy dog to love and live with. He has shown no issues being around other dogs, calmly coexisting with dogs in his foster home and doing well with dogs at the shelter. That said, Orville would also be perfectly happy as an only dog, soaking up all the love for himself A fenced yard is not required for him — he’s content with walks and being by your side. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal companion with a calm soul and a heart of gold, Orville may be your perfect match Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. Hi, I’m Ocean and I’m ready to find my forever home. Dog’s Name: Ocean  Location: Waunakee, WI Date of Birth: 6/1/2024 Gender: Female Breed: English Mastiff Color: Brindle Dog's Weight: 83 Gets along with: Dogs?: All dogs Cats?:  All cats  Kids?: Older kids Training: Leash trained: Pulls on leash, but walks nicely with a harness Crate/Kennel:  Goes to crate/kennel on command Potty trained: Indicates a need to potty and doesn’t have indoor accidents Car: Rides well in car - needs to be tethered Meet Ocean! Ocean is doing wonderfully in foster care and continues to show just how special she is. She’s already learned to bark and paw at the door when she needs to go outside and settles into her kennel without fuss—though she may need a gentle reminder that the couch isn’t always an option because, let’s be honest, it is pretty comfy. She rides well in the car, hopping right in on her own. While she may whine a little during drives, she handles outings like a champ and even impressed the vet staff by politely taking treats. Ocean has also met teenagers and, after a brief initial bark, quickly warmed up and became friendly and affectionate once properly introduced. Ocean is a playful, high-energy pup who would absolutely love a canine playmate. She’s been eager to play with her foster sibling and would thrive with another energetic dog who can keep up with her fun-loving spirit. Leash training is in progress and improving, and with more consistent walks, she’s expected to continue doing great. Like many young dogs, Ocean can still get a bit jumpy when she’s excited and may “tag” with her front paws while playing. She’s gentle, mouths lightly, and is actively learning good manners with continued positive reinforcement. She’s shown curiosity about counters but no surfing, and she does a great job distinguishing between her toys and people’s belongings. Ocean will do best in a home with an active family ready to continue training, another playful, energetic dog, slightly older kids who can handle her enthusiasm, and patience and consistency to help her mature into her best self. Ocean is a truly sweet girl with a loving heart and joyful personality. With continued guidance and time to grow, she’s going to be an amazing addition to a lucky family. Story
Hi, I’m Waylon and I'm ready for my forever home. Dog’s Name: Waylon Location: Seneca, MO Date of Birth: 01/26/2025 Gender: Male Breed:Mastiff Color: Fawn Dog's Weight: 85 Gets along with: Dogs?: All dogs Cats?:  Unknown Kids?: All kids Other: Chickens Training: Leash trained: walks loose on leash Potty trained: working on it and doing well Car:  Rides well in the car Meet Waylon Waylon is a tender-hearted boy who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. He’s learning how to “dog” — figuring out toys, playtime, and all the fun that comes with being a carefree pup. His goofy personality really shines when he’s playing, especially if sticks are involved (his absolute favorite!) — though shoes are a close second, so keep those picked up! This gentle soul loves coming in for pets and snuggles, and once he feels safe, he happily soaks up affection. Quick movements can still startle him, so he appreciates a calm environment and patient humans who understand he’s building confidence at his own pace. His favorite place in the world? Outside exploring! His second favorite? Curled up on his foster parents’ bed, of course. Waylon adores kids, does wonderfully with other dogs, and is even good with chickens. He truly thrives with canine companionship and would love a doggie friend (or two!) to help continue showing him the ropes and building his confidence. Waylon will do well in just about any loving home. He’s gentle and sweet, making him a great match for a first-time giant breed owner. What he needs most is a patient family willing to give him time to fully trust and blossom, at least one friendly, confident dog companion, and a home where he can safely enjoy outdoor time (a fenced yard is a wonderful bonus!). With kindness, consistency, and love, Waylon will continue to grow into the confident, joyful companion he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted, silly best friend who will reward your patience with endless loyalty and snuggles, Waylon is your boy. Hi, I’m Sampson and I’m ready to find my forever home. Dog’s Name: Sampson Location: Muskego, WI Date of Birth: 12/04/2021 Gender: Male Breed: English MastiffSave changes Color: Brindle Dog's Weight: 170 Gets along with: Kids:  All kids Cats: All Cats Dogs: All Dogs Training: Crate Trained - goes to crate/kennel on command Potty Trained - indicates need to potty and doesn't have indoor accidents Car - Rides well in the car Meet Sampson – Your Gentle Giant Couch Companion Sampson is the definition of a sweet, easygoing giant. This handsome boy absolutely adores children and is incredibly gentle—even with a 13-month-old baby! He plays softly, moves carefully, and seems to instinctively understand just how precious little humans are. If you’re looking for a velcro dog, Sampson is your guy. He loves attention and is happiest simply being wherever his people are. His favorite activities include lounging on the couch, soaking up affection, and watching the world go by from the window. He’s more of an indoor enthusiast and usually prefers relaxing inside over adventuring outdoors. Sampson has a tiny stubborn streak (we like to call it “selective stillness”). When he decides he’s done moving, he may sit and remind you that he’s a big boy! But with a little patience and gentle encouragement, he can be coaxed into anything. He sleeps comfortably in his crate and goes in on command, walks well on leash (we’re just polishing up staying on one side), sits calmly for grooming and treats bath time like a spa day , and gets along wonderfully with other dogs Sampson is ideal for a first-time giant breed owner. He does not require a fenced yard, as he prefers being walked rather than going outside alone. He would thrive in a home with children and would be happy with or without another dog. If you’re looking for a calm, loving, kid-friendly giant who will happily share your couch and your heart, Sampson is ready to meet you. Story
Looking for a gentle giant to complete your family? Say hello to Duke, an adorable two-year-old Mastiff mix who's ready to fill your home with love and joy! This big-hearted boy has so much affection to give and is eagerly waiting for his forever family to come along. Inside the home, Duke is already a model citizen in many ways. He's fully house broken, comfortable in his crate, and absolutely adores being around his humans. Like many young dogs his size, he's still growing into his massive paws and personality. Duke would benefit from some continued reinforcement of his basic manners - he's quite strong on leash and gets so excited during playtime that he sometimes jumps up or gets a bit mouthy when his enthusiasm takes over. Duke would thrive with a family who has previous large breed experience and is willing to invest some time into his continued training. Due to his size and exuberance, we're looking for a home without children under 10 years old. He's not trying to be rambunctious - he just doesn't always realize how big he is! When meeting new dogs, Duke can be a bit unsure of himself initially and can be slightly reactive. The good news is that after a quick, proper introduction, he does wonderfully with other canines, especially female dogs. He does get excited around toys and food, so clear boundaries are important. Surprisingly, this big boy LOVES cats and would happily share his space with a dog-savvy feline friend! If Duke sounds like the perfect addition to your family, please contact us today. This lovable boy can't wait to meet you and show you just how much love he has to give! To ask about Duke, please contact us directly by calling 847-338-3252 or emailing info@redemptionroadinc.org. _____ See what's new with our rescue including updates on our animals and upcoming events:  https://lnk.bio/redemptionroadinc Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/R4inc/ Instagram: @redemptionroadinc Our trainer's Instagram:  @fullcircledogtrainer February 15, 2026, 10:08 pm

Story
Meet Sam! Sam is a very handsome pup, estimated at about 3 years old. He’s thought to be a Mastiff Mix, but, rather small for the breed. Sadly, Sam found himself at an overcrowded noisy animal control facility down south. He deserves a forever home and family of his own, and we want to help him get there!! This precious pup absolutely loves people and is good with older kids who are respectful of dogs. We expect he is good with lower energy dogs. Dogs who are too active might scare him and cause him to react. Sam absolutely loves belly rubs, and treats too! He's a little rough around the edges in terms of training but clearly is eager to learn. Sam is in overall good physical shape however he does have some vision issues causing him to sometimes miss things coming his way….this is why we expect he’d be scared by higher energy dogs, and high-activity youngsters. Sam is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative. We would still like to get Sam to an eye specialist for a comprehensive examination of his eyes/vision. If you’d like to add Sam to your family, please contact BAARKDogRescue@gmail.com or 847-852-0895.
