This gentle giant was taken in as a stray at just 7 months old and has spent the last several years living peacefully in a home with 15 other dogs of all ages and sizes. He’s truly a pack-friendly boy who gets along with everyone. Unfortunately, his owner had to downsize her dog family, so Wendell came to us. From the moment we met him, it was clear—this boy is pure love! 🥰 He’s chill, affectionate, housebroken, and oh-so-sweet. Wendell absolutely aced his temperament test and showed us just how easygoing and wonderful he is. Hi! Sage is what I believe is an iltalian mastiff mix of some sort. Her exact breed is unknown. Her birthday is 2/24/23. She has never resided in a shelter. She was fostered for 2 months through the Stray Reacue, then adopted by me. I am looking to rehome her solely because she is a very social dog who thrives in a home with multiple humans/dogs. Given my sudden life change, I am no longer able to provide that for her. I have noticed her a bit less happy in a home with just myself and her. Finally, a couple took her in to try and get her the right home on social media. When that didn't work they came to Mastino Rescue, Inc., to help and find her a home. She has been spayed and on 8/13/24 she had her cherry eye surgery removal. Anita is a great girl, loves her male foster but it took a couple days for her to warm up to her female foster. She will need time to settle into a new home. With slow introductions she started playing with her male foster Neo brother. She is another one that is severely underweight and heartworm possible. On June 24th, 2024 she will be receiving one of two back to back injections for HW treatment, the second on the 25th. In a month or went she get to be a healthy weight and under our Vets recommendation she will be spayed. Gracie wishes to be the only pet in the home, there seems to be no negotiating on that front. She requests the full attention of her humans. On the plus side, she loves car rides and won't leave your side on or off leash.
