Bella is a big girl, approximately 65 pounds, so while she is very good with people, she would be best with older kids who can keep up with her size. She is house-trained, and a fenced yard would be best since Bella is a large dog and likes to play. Hi! Sage is what I believe is an iltalian mastiff mix of some sort. Her exact breed is unknown. Her birthday is 2/24/23. She has never resided in a shelter. She was fostered for 2 months through the Stray Reacue, then adopted by me. I am looking to rehome her solely because she is a very social dog who thrives in a home with multiple humans/dogs. Given my sudden life change, I am no longer able to provide that for her. I have noticed her a bit less happy in a home with just myself and her. 🩷I learned much about adorable Meryl Streep yesterday as we buddied up and attended CARE’S Adoption Event at “Tower Grove Pride” event. This adorable one and a half year-old pup showed her happy self from the moment she jumped in the car and was the perfect backseat rider. 🩷As we walked to CARE’S tent Meryl walked well on the leash. The event was well attended and this sweet pup was friendly and sweet throughout. As participants of all ages came up to say “Hi” and gave her pets she was gentle to everyone. As other dogs passed she was mostly indifferent being content and enjoying the moment. When this precious girl was tired she laid down and fell fast asleep and stayed like that as the action continued all around her. After her short nap we headed back to the car. This precious, perfect girl made the day’s event fun, happy and totally enjoyable for me her sidekick💕 🩷All I could think is this fabulous pup belongs in a loving home and hopefully soon! Meryl Streep, is a treasure and would be a cherished pup for many families. -Her eye condition is called Cherry Eye and is not serious and will be taken care of by CARES clinic when she’s adopted. 🩷She is at CARE STL for you to meet and possibly fall in love just like me🩷🐾XOXO

He’s incredibly clingy because he views his person as the most important thing in the world, making him a naturally protective companion. He has a history of making friends easily with women and is simply looking for a confident, patient handler who can help him feel secure and show him the world is safe. He’s food and praise motivated, knows his basic commands, and he loves all the scratches, especially on his neck! He’s also a big fan of toys and chews—rope toys, squeakers, balls, chew bones, you name it, he likes it! Gambino is the total package when it comes to house manners. He is perfectly potty-trained and a star student in his kennel, heading to his crate easily with just a little help from a tasty frozen Kong. He’s a dream on the leash and responds perfectly to "sit" and "no." He would probably prefer a secure fenced-in yard where he can relax and enjoy his time outdoors, without the restriction of a leash. This guy thrives on routine and clear boundaries. Due to his history as a watchdog, he would likely thrive as the solo pet in the home. He's working hard on being a little more gentle with accepting treats (he still gets a little chomp-happy!) but shows great improvement with every new skill he learns.
