Murphy is an 8-10 week old, male, Schnauzer mix. He’s playful, spunky, and brave! We can’t say for sure as we aren’t sure what either of his parents are, but he seems to be a Schnauzer mix. Murphy will do well with another playful dog friend, too! Story
Maeve is a 1 year old sweetheart looking for a patient forever home that can teach her the kindness of human touch. Upon entry in to rescue she was fearful, but is learning every day how brave she can be. While she is making progress, her forever home will need to continue to give her the space and time to blossom. Maeve's ideal home would have a confident and friendly canine companion who can show her how to "dog". Although she isn't quite ready to be a playmate yet, she likes to watch and follow other canines around for cues. A quieter home without small children would be best. Maeve is a girl's girl, and prefers the companionship of women to men. Maeve likes to spend her day following her foster mom around, occupying her lap or sitting next to her if a lap isn't available. With a regular routine, Maeve has quickly picked up potty training. She sleeps quietly in a crate at night next to her humans. Maeve has discovered the joy of neighborhood walks, sniffing and exploring her surroundings. While on the lower energy side (she is a lap dog after all) a few miles of walking per day suits her just fine, she'd be happy to accompany her forever humans for more if they are willing to carry her or push her in a doggy stroller. Maeve LOVES to be outside, sunbathing is a newly discovered favorite past time. Highly treat motivated, Maeve is looking to continue her progress with her new forever family! Maeve is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX test, and spay. This dog is also tested with other dogs and is working on housebreaking. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
If you are looking for a 16lb snugglebug with no sense of personal space, who likes to hike, wrestle, and frolic in nature, Miss Heidi's your girl. Heidi adores humans (big and small), and loves to play with her 6 foster canine siblings. She is a very gentle, sweet dog who prefers to be draped on her human's at all times. Heidi sleeps on the bed against her humans, loves the great outdoors and family adventuring, and ignores the two resident cats. Heidi is moderate energy, will require daily exercise, and would love a fenced backyard in her new home. She is potty trained and uses the dog door to cavort in the back garden. Heidi would be happy as an only dog if her humans are at home often and exercise her daily, or with another dog who likes to play chase and wrestle. Heidi is enthusiastic with her people, sometimes jumping up for love, so families with smaller children should be prepared for this. She will require regular grooming throughout her life to ensure that her locks remain soft and manageable. Heidi has a very loving temperament, is ready for any outdoor adventure, and is simply divine. Heidi is a 1 year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, 4DX tested, and spayed. This dog is also tested with other dogs, kennel trained, and working on housebreaking. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Story
Natalie is a 1-year-old Schnoodle looking for a patient forever home that can teach her the how great the world can be! When she was brought into rescue, Natalie was very fearful, but every day she is learning how brave she can be and that Colorado is a pretty nice place. Her bravery and gentle spirit, despite a hard past, inspire me every day. She has come so far but will need a forever home to continue giving her the space and time to trust humans. She loves going for walks, laying in your lap, enjoying cheese and pepperoni, and getting head scratches. Natalie's ideal home would have a confident, friendly, lower-energy canine companion who can show her how to be a dog or a patient human committed to her well-being. While she isn't quite ready to be a playmate yet, having another friend will help her adjust. A quieter home without small children would be best. She is working on her leash and potty training skills. Natalie knows she's a high-maintenance chick, but the heart wants what it wants. She also knows she's worth the extra love & support. Natalie is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $800 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX test, and spay.
