Story
Marley is a 6-month-old female Plott Hound mix who weighs around 30 lbs. Miss Marley was found at a fire station and the fireman just couldn’t take her to the local shelter so the family decided to foster her until she gets adopted. They noticed her head was deformed and appeared to have suffered head trauma and had a hematoma. The vet drained off the fluid and Marley is all healthy and ready to find a home. She gets along with other dogs and kids. She is also crate trained and house trained. Marley will be a great dog for your family! Marley is spayed, fully vetted and microchipped. Please sign up for your first month of pet insurance on us! If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://packleadersrescue.com/adoption-application/

A Sato is a Puerto Rican street dog, and Beans is soaking up all the love and new experiences that come with life in a home. Beans is a playful, happy puppy who is always ready for fun. He loves exploring, playing, and making people laugh with his goofy personality. Like any young puppy, he is curious about everything and keeps life entertaining. He would love a family ready for puppy adventures, training, and lots of cuddles after playtime. Beans is crate and leash trained and does well with dogs and kids. He is also working on potty training and will need a patient family committed to continuing his training and helping him grow into the amazing dog he is meant to be. Story
Xena is a 3-year-old Plott Hound mix weighing 52 pounds. A delightful girl, she came to us from a family who didn’t want her or her ten puppy litter. How sad! But of course that’s where we came in. Xena’s foster says she is sweet, affectionate, playful, great with other dogs and very food motivated. (Better keep a box of bones around the house!) This girl who has been treated for heartworm would make a great addition to your family! 'You can read more about Xena's story here: https://www.crossingpathsanimalrescue.org/rescue-stories/mom-knows-best (posted 11/1/25, ME) ' ' Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **May 19, 2026, 9:54 pm

Story
If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a ray of sunshine, a golden retriever meme, and a professional good‑boy all merged into one being… meet Sunny, a 2‑year‑old neutered male who has graduated from doggy daycare training with honors in “Trying His Best.” Sunny didn’t just complete training — he thrived. He worked hard, charmed everyone, and impressed his trainer so much that she wanted to adopt him herself… but five other pups beat her to it. (Sunny forgave them immediately. He’s generous like that.) Sunny is exactly what his name promises: bright, warm, and guaranteed to make you smile. He’s the perfect blend of goofy teenager and eager‑to‑please gentleman. In playgroups, he’s known as the dog who’s always engaged, steerable, playful, and social — basically the kid everyone wants on their kickball team. ⭐ Sunny’s Skills & Superpowers Knows sit, down, leave it, off Potty trained Crate trained & house trained (but also totally fine outside the crate) Walks well on leash Rides beautifully in the car Loves treats (training jackpot!) Dog‑friendly AND cat‑friendly Shares toys like a gentleman Can play gentle or rowdy depending on his friends Enjoys zoomies, fetch, tug‑of‑war, and treat puzzles Professional cuddler, certified lovebug Loves to be close — outside he stands upright next to his foster mom so they can lean on the railing together like two old friends watching the sunset 🌟 Sunny’s Vibe He’s playful, active, adventurous, and always ready for fun — but he’s equally happy trotting by your side as your loyal sidekick. He shines in the play yard, zooming around like he’s training for the Dog Olympics, then happily sharing his toys like the gentleman he is. Sunny is joyful, friendly, affectionate, and ready to bring warmth and laughter to a home that appreciates a dog who’s both silly and sweet. 🏡 Best Home For Sunny An active family who wants a dog that can keep up with adventures, playdates, and fun — but also loves a good cuddle session.
