Even after going through this trauma, this incredible girl greeted animal control with a wagging tail when they arrived. At the vet, the staff quickly fell in love with her sweet spirit—and thankfully, her injury ended up being only a graze.     Ember is truly a special soul. She is gentle, well-mannered, and unbelievably loving, with not a mean bone in her body. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a friendly, medium-energy personality that makes her the perfect companion for adventures and cozy evenings alike.     Ember has already proven how strong and forgiving she is. Now she just needs the one thing she’s always deserved: a safe, loving home where she’ll never be hurt again.  Apply today and don't let this one get away Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. I’m Pup Ernest! I’m a very handsome brindle boy (I get compliments all the time), and my friends think I’m a Plott Hound mix. I got my second chance thanks to K-9 Lifesavers, who rescued me from an overcrowded shelter in Alabama. I’m so grateful—and ready to find my forever family! I’m a young guy with a big heart and an even bigger love for life. I’m sweet, friendly, playful, and I get along great with other dogs. If you’ve got a canine buddy at home, even better—I love making friends! I’m also at the perfect age for training and socialization, and I’m eager to learn and please. I’d be happiest in an active home where we can go on adventures, play, and then snuggle up after a fun-filled day. In return, I promise endless wet-nose kisses, enthusiastic butt wiggles, and unconditional love. If you think we could be best friends, apply today—I can’t wait to meet you! Story
This dog is not a Tasca's Love Dog. The contact information for his rescue organization is at the link at the end of his bio. We had the pleasure of meeting the cutest, friendliest, 4 month old, 24lbs Hound Mix puppy this weekend. He was so impressive we asked his foster if we could share him on our rescue page! There is no reason at all that this pup hasn’t been snatched! Meet Gatsby, the most social, fun loving pup ever :) An enthusiastic greeter of people (including kids) of all ages, genders and sizes with full on butt wiggle action, and side to side swaying as a puppy should be :) Same goes for other dogs. His foster notes he has no resource guarding issues with humans or dogs. He is getting better on the leash, learning good manners and showing off his new learned commands; he knows come, sit, stay, down, and crate. He loves to fetch, and loves to play with his humans. And this little munchkin is a professional cuddle, especially after he gets up from a nap, he wants to be close to his humans and bring them his toys :) His crate is his safe spot and sleeps in it through the night. To call him a professional nap-taker, is pretty spot on, this boy needs his beauty sleep several times a day. His foster says he’s getting really good at the house-training routine, but of course given his age it’s not fair to expect him to hold it for too long. He’s never left roaming unsupervised because he’s too little and just like any puppy can get himself in trouble :) He doesn’t have a known noise aversion and doesn’t mind being given a bath. He has an alert bark worthy of the big boy he’ll become, and will let you know when he’s anxious, bored or even want to go to the bathroom, you just need to learn his cues. Gatsby will greatly benefit from continued training especially when it comes to him being mouthy. With consistent positive training and patience, this pup will be the best companion any family could ask for. If you are interested in adopting Gatsby, please complete his rescue’s Adoption Questionnaire found at this link bit.ly/adoptaluckydog

I am new here, more to come soon... The adoption fee for this dog is $425. Application for adoption: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FRE/Dog If you are viewing on Petfinder/Adoptapet and cannot see photos or would like to apply for this dog please visit our website, www.frecklesfoundation.org. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training! They are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue cannot guarantee the exact age or breed of any animal in our care. The age and breed listed are based on information we may have been provided, and the appearance of the animal.

Story
Meet Snoop Dogg — the bold, curious adventurer of his litter. Snoop Dogg is a lively little pup with a sparkle in his eye and a whole lot of “let’s go!” in his heart. While his siblings are content to nap or snuggle, Snoop is the one leading the charge into new corners, new toys, and new experiences. He’s the puppy who wants to know everything — what’s behind the couch, what’s under that leaf, and why you’re laughing without him. He’s playful, clever, and always ready for a mini‑mission, whether that’s exploring the yard, investigating a crinkly bag, or proudly carrying around his newest “treasure.” But after a good adventure, Snoop is more than happy to curl up beside his people and recharge with some well‑earned affection. Snoop is looking for a family who loves a puppy with personality — someone who will appreciate his curiosity, guide his big puppy brain, and enjoy watching him discover the world with joy and confidence. If you’re hoping for a fun, spirited companion who will keep you smiling, Snoops is your guy. The adoption fee for this dog is $425.
