Story
Shadow is a 1.5 year old hunting hound she has a huge story before and after her rescue with a very large following. She loves other dogs and seeks them out. She would do best in a home with another well behaved young active dog. She's been known to run but getting better and she currently wears a tracking device on her collar. She opens up pretty quickly but is very scared and shy without another dog . She was emaciated and on the run when rescued. She is now gaining weight and beautiful. She's spayed, vaccinated, chipped on flea prevention. She's HW positive and started treatment. Please reach out to me personally with any questions regarding Miss Shadow. Jenna Hughes 214-405-4384

Story
Lola was rescued from a local shelter and now her owner has to give her up to no fault of her own.  She is a gorgeous, sweet girl.  She is great with small dogs and seems a bit timid with large dogs but we think she would be fine in time as she gets to know them.  She is obedient and aims to please.  She is about 9 months old, Jan. 2024, and weighs 50 lbs. ##1623586##

Story
While visiting in rural Arkansas, the finders for Nori noticed Momma Ivy being neglected by her owners - malnourished, no water and 5 little babies out in the dirt.  They couold not leave her and them  in those conditions to starve/die.  With great intentions and no plan, they scopped them up and brought them to Dallas.   The finder reached out to Cody's for help.  The puppies were weaned no another rescue group took them and we took Ivy.  She is now safe at our foster's home. She is so pretty and sweet.  She is being taught to walk on a leash and is a fast learner.  Ivy comes when you whistle and will sit on command with treat encouragement.  She is wonderful with the finder's 4 year old son.  She is great with other dogs and is not high energy but loves to play with them.  She is a bit shy at first when meeting new people but will warm up when shown affection and kindness.  She would be best with a playful dog who is not over the top.  She has a beautiful blonde brindle.  She weighs 30ish lbs.  She is learning to sleep in a crate but would love to be on a bed or her bed out with her people for security.   ##2774592##

Story
At 6 years old, Twix should be spending his years in a loving home—not in a shelter kennel. He is dog friendly, cat friendly and kid friendly. He is potty trained and knows how to use a doggie door. He is affectionate and ready to be someone’s best friend. This handsome boy has a gorgeous brindle coat and a gentle soul that’s ready to share all the love he has left to give. He would make an incredible companion, and Twix is hoping someone will open their heart to him. He is the full package, dog friendly and cat friendly. He is potty trained and such a good boy.   He was abandoned and the shelter Received information about Twix from his previous owner. Reason for surrender: Military orders out of the country. Story
We rescued Chewy 6 years ago from a relative that couldn't care for him due to a health issue, as he is very active and weighs 90 lbs. He was about 2 years old when relative adopted / rescued him from a family with too many dogs. We have no other pets so he is spoiled and a great companion for us. He loves to be wherever we are and loves our family and friends and people who we invite into our home in general. He is very protective and watches out a front window and will growl or bark loudly when anyone enters our yard or driveway. He has never had an accident in our home and is left alone in a front room while we leave up to maybe 6 hours at most. He is an inside dog. He has never bit or threatened anyone. We are seniors and wife has been knocked down a few times when he runs through the house on occasion. We are afraid a fall will cause a serious injury and so must find a new home for him. He sees a vet regularly and is up to date on all exams and vacines and is in excellent health.

These pups are in Frisco, Texas too!

Story
**CONTACT OWNER AT terilminson@gmail.com **COURTESY LISTING** I am currently seeking to rehome my Catahoula dog, Ozzy Pawsbourne. He is an adorable 65 lb pup, approx 2 years old. He is a great dog, very playful and protective. Curious. Sweet demeanor. No problems at all. He is neutered, current on shots, crate trained, house trained and walks well on a leash. He likes to jump up playfully, and has knocked me down a few times. I've had 3 cervical spine surgeries, 2 being last year. I didn't realize his strength when I got him. Unfortunately, I am unable to keep him. My spinal condition will continue to worsen over time. Being knocked down is only going to make the matter worse. I have his crate, bed, toys and an unopened 44lb bag of food to bring with him. He loves riding in car, playing fetch, tug of war and frisbee. Does well with other dogs. Please help me find him a good, safe home.

Story
Lucy has been waiting three years for a home of her own, and she’s still holding out hope that her person is out there. She’s an incredible girl, but can be timid at first and may bark or do a low growl when meeting someone new. Once she feels safe, she forms a deep bond and loves wholeheartedly. She’s very affectionate and is known to give her favorite people big “hugs.” Lucy does well with other dogs, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys getting out for regular walks. No cats for Lucy! She is a 5 year old American Staffordshire Terrier/Catahoula Leopard Dog/Lab mix (per Wisdom Panel). She’s potty trained, crate trained, and non-destructive, so she is trusted to free roam in her foster home. Due to her breed mix, an apartment is not a good fit. If you’re interested in giving Lucy the forever home she’s been waiting for, please apply at www.rescuerowinc.org.  *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row):      Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee      Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##950302##

Story
Maddie is a 3 year old, 73 lb Bloodhound/German Shepherd mix who is still looking for the right home. She is potty trained, crate trained, and does best in a home where people are around often. Maddie enjoys playing with other dogs and going on walks. She has an energetic play style and needs a large, active dog who can keep up with her. Maddie is friendly with people but may be a little shy at first. Because of her size and energy level, she would be a better fit for a home with children 7 and up. She can be a bit unaware of her size at times. She is currently working with a trainer on her leash skills, so she will need an adopter who is willing to continue that work. Maddie would do best with an experienced dog owner. She is not a fit for homes with cats or apartment living. If you’re interested in meeting or adopting Maddie, please fill out an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a home check *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org      Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee      Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex.
